Spanish press now reporting that the Alfonso Pedraza loan is a done deal. 10m Euro buying clause in place that is triggered if we get promoted.

Believe it when he's here alf you know what papers will say to print a story. We must have heard this about other players hundreds of times. Hopefully something concrete will develop in next few hours.

Leeds reportedly loaning Alfonso Pedraza of Villarreal (on loan in second tier of Spanish football currently) until the end of the season - would be loan to buy (with purchase dependent on promotion) . Pedraza is a winger and current Spain U21 international worth around £8.5m.

A possible show of intent (I hope) or just a celinio smoke screen to make us think they tried last minute but ran out of time? I guess time will tell. Fingers crossed MOT.

Anyone else noticed that the new Spaniard that we have been linked to Alfonso Pedraza seems to favour number 17? Guess that rules him out as a "Massimo Player"

Leeds finally set to bring in some signings..
Ashley Fletcher on loan from West Ham & Spanish left winger Alfonso Pedraza on loan from Villarreal!
Also looks like today was the tipping point for Marcus Antonsson, with Gary Monk looking to release

He could release everyone who played yesterday, don't deserve to play for Leeds, Matt Grimes omg how is he from a premiership team il never know, not seen anyone with less effort in a long long time.

In all fairness he hasn't had much of a run but when you don't get into the game at all then it's never good for you. Never heard of Pedraza but Fletcher could bring something from what I've seen. Thoroughly disappointed about the FA Cup but that's what happens when you rest players. Still upto this point lest we forget it's been a great season with more highs than lows, if we're in the division above come season end, who'll remember we lost to Sutton. Also not prepared to judge Malik Wilkes on today's performance circumstances permitted.

Dallas was ok, Antonson missing whole game, passing was dire subs tried but where two few . The players were very young but taking Wilkes, Dallas, Sako and SD out we were bullied all game . When we got the ball we played side ways or backwards and I can not remember a shot on goal . To add to this BT, s coverage was dire, sorry some people complained, how about reading a weather forecast or taking some way of stopping the camera becoming covered surly it's not rocket science . My last beef is about the pitch you could not use this in the league but yeah FA cup what a joke . Sutton good luck to you, but their is either a standard and quality of pitch or there is not .

Blaming the pitch is joke is it not? These are professional football players. Ok not the normal playing surface admittedly. However players to blame before the pitch!

If there these pitches were suitable they would be used and given ok by Fl . I agree players were as much to blame in this game, my point was if they are not up to the job then clubs who have them should not be able to use them in this type of completion .

That would mean then that the majority of non FL clubs wouldn't fulfil FL ground criteria either. But this is the FA Cup grass (or not so grass in this case ha) roots of football.
