Rumours that Sunderland want to get rid of bridcutt permanently and Brighton are apparently offering 3 million for him so it looks like that was his last game.

I desperately hope we keep Bridcutt but if they've got the money and are willing to put it up as soon as the window opens, I think he'll be there by Atleast the 5th lol.
Steve Evans was apparently told if he was within 6 points of the Play Offs by January he'd be given money to spend so it makes the MK Dons game vital.
Let me just say aswell, not to blow my own trumpet, but I was happy with the Steve Evans appointment, felt he was the right kinda man at the right time and it's proving to be a good fit for us, but he's even out done my expectations of him.
The fact he's got us even thinking about the Play Offs after the season we'd had before he came is absolutely brilliant and even if we only finish 10th, he's certainly the man to lead us next season, and with abit of continuity he could take us places next season. (If not this one)

I thought bridcut was outstanding against forest and awful against Derby

Trouble is a lot, if not all the young talent will probably leave if we don't manage to go up this year.

Bridcutt might never have the eye catching performances, the man of the match player, etc. but that's not his job. He is in the team to do the dirty work in the space between the back 4 and the midfield cleaning up loose balls, throwing his weight around and putting in hard tackles. Yes he was better at Forest but once he was carded (at Derby) he had to be a little less aggressive but still remained professional and got on with his job and, for me, did it well.
Think this type of player is invaluable to us with such a young midfield, let's them play fluid football without worrying about what happens if they try something and lose the ball. If we can afford him then we need to try get him in permanently or as a loan to buy for the end of the season, if not I hope Evans really does know where he can get another Bridcutt because a realistic chance we start going backwards again if we lose him in the next few days.
