All three involved in Stoke game yesterday. Do you really think that anyone except some Leeds supporters think Becchio is a Premiership quality player? Presumably the same people who thought that Arsenal would sign White in the summer. Get real, Neither Billy Sharp nor Beckford made the grade. Charlie Austin and Jordan Rhodes both miles better than Becchio are still playing in the Championship.
If you are going to compare a Leeds player to others, try comparing him to people who play like him! Rhodes and Sharp are clinical finishers who play on the shoulders and lurk in the box. Becchio holds the ball up to bring midfielders into play, yet still scores goals regularly. Good player, and could probably play lower half prem

Becchio was not injured in training on fri as stated by Warnock. If this was the case why was he on the bench?Brighton had repesentitives in Yorkshire on fri and Saturday to speak with Leeds and Becchios people regarding a straight swap for CMS, WHO IS HIGHLY regarded by Warnock. George Boyd who played alongside CMS at Peterborough is also on the verge of signing for Leeds. The pair together scored over Fifty goals for Peterborough two seasons running.

GFH are not going to sack NW. They are going to do exactly what they said at the press conference. "back Neil in the transfer window". If we fail to make the play-offs then with his contract ending in May they have an easy task of getting rid of him for little or no compo and the failure to reach 6th will be used as an obvious lever against him especially in the media. That said, tactically, he does have flaws and we need to think about a replacement. 3 obvious names are Poyet Di Matteo and Martinez but I'll throw in a 4th. John Sheridan.
Makes sense to me although how much do you spend to back someone who may not be there in 5-6 months..
Di Matteo said he will not go into this league. And to be fair to him, he did with the champions league.

Why would we sign Harte and Bertrand? I wouldnt mind Harte back but a lot of fans moaned when he was here before and he aint gained pace so boo boys may be straight after him. If however we got chance of Bertrand snap him up.

Leeds to sell becchio to stoke in january for 2.3 mill, and to replace him the will sign craig davies from barnsley for 550k

Warnock doesn't like to use the loan market.he's been forced into loaning the players we got on loan as we had no money and also it was past deadline day and takeover wasn't complete .
We will sign Tate at least until the end of the season Michael Laudrup said its highly likely to happen. Taylor, Thompson and Gimple arent ready for the first team which is why Thompson was loaned and Gimple and Taylor are never near the first team squad. I cant see Warnock signing dead wood as he now has money to sign some quality and the fact he was after Chris Wood shows he is looking at the right calibre of player. Finally he has publicly stated he wants one or two quality players that we will be paying fees for as well as the for loanees (Tonge, Tate, Thomas and Hall). Other than that spot on well done.

To be fair, I can't imagine that some of our youth players aren't better than the likes of Varney, Gray, White, Green, Norris etc.
When you consider that we have one of the best youth systems in the country and have produced some of the finest British players ever, you start to wonder why we even buy these awful players in the first place.

Dave wheelan is considering his managerial options at Wigan as Martinez is keeping Wigan in a relegation battle year on year. I think Martinez would be an ideal replacement for Warnock. {Ed013's Note - He would be a great choice}
Whelan wouldnt get rid of martinez, they have both done fantastically well, especially whelan, to get Wigan where they are and to stay there, great little club and martinez would be a fantastic choice but i dont ever see whelan sacking martinez. but i may be wrong.
Martinez? Not a chance. Wasn't he wanted by Liverpool? Anyway, I don't know what all the fuss is about. Wigan have never risen above the relegation battle under Martinez and have never consolidated their position in the premiership as, for example, Stoke have done. Whelan will hang on to a manager who has been loyal to him and who doesn't complain when his best players are regularly sold.
Why would he?
I don't necessarily disagree with Martinez as a new manager at Leeds, but he also has his favourites. Not so long ago I used to have two mistresses Celtic and Leeds. Caldwell was at best an accident waiting to happen at Park head. So he was punted out to Wigan. He thought he was bigger than Celtic. Martinez makes him captain I watch MotD and most of the goals Wigan concede Caldwell is the catalist. Wigan play some great stuff going forward, but their Achilles heel is Caldwell. He's the same when he's picked for the national squad (Scotland).
NW too has is favourites, so we'd be jumping out of one fire in favour of another fire. We've had a couple of bad results why all this clamour for Warnocks head, when not too long ago he was the messiah, now he's just a naughty boy. Have a bit of faith.

Personally have faith in Warnock but I'm thinking he will drag our team into the playoffs even if its last place. We lose that connection with the playoffs and I would want him out overnight. I think he's intelligent enough to also realise this so lets keep it going and get behind him until this seasons dream is over.

Think boyd is done deal wud also get barkley on loan from everton and perkins from barnsley both these. Are young and have loads of energy main signing though should be curtis davis ch from brum
Perkins will be 31 in 2013 so good knowledge. Mind you, based on our current squad he probably is one for the future perhaps even too young.

AZ Alkmaar duo Roy Beerens (Winger/striker) and Steve Berghuis (creative midfielder) will be coming in early Jan.
Beerens is 24 and was out of favour all last season, most of his appearances coming as a sub, but he's got great technique and pace, and Berghuis, 19, has apparently expressed his desire to play in England before.
Can you honestly see NW bringing in two foreign players to save his backside who are untested in the English league ? May have short term interest but cant realistically see this happening.
