This thing with the sun could be wrong but something tells me theres something in it. We have been in the middle of a takeover for about 3 months now. How much of this takeover have they reported on, to say in 3 months they could of made up about 50 storys in that time, knowing what the sun is like. I feel they haven't said anything because they didn't know anything. Thats how tiet a ship its been. So something has come out of the woodwork and made them report on it. Everybody GFH were report at that ground a week ago, so i carn't see it being that. If there wrong then same old same old, but if they are right. They will go up in everyones estermations as FACT finders. LETS HOPE THEY ARE ON THE MONEY!
BARMY ARMY!!

Believable23 Unbelievable13

Yep I said exactly the same thing in a comment about it on here yesterday. They could be totally and utterly wrong but there must be something coz like we've said they haven't written anything about this in over 3 months! And to all those that will say they get a lot of stuff wrong don't forget they also get a lot of stuff right or people wouldn't buy so many papers. Let's hope it's the latter for all our sakes!

Agree0 Disagree0

"They will go up in everyones estermations as FACT finders."

I don't think you could go quite that far, it's more a case of 'digging' for the slightest rumour, throwing mud at it and seeing if it sticks......

I personally feel that now would be a notable time for this to happen, but we've heard it all before, and no doubt it will just go on and on untill the buyers decide enough is enough and walk away......

Agree0 Disagree0

The hasn't reported anything a half decent journo couldn't have written just by having a trawl through the Internet and still nothing's happened. To hail them as Fact finders a bit much, plenty been slated on here for using the word FACT. Still hope it happens soon though:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting post, i read the article yesterday in the paper, and like you i thought pretty much along the same lines, however i also thought that perhaps just a little snippet of information could have been leaked by either the buying or selling parties to give the takeover a nudge if you catch my drift. Or it could just be the papers making some stuff up, although lets be honest, with transfer d/day approaching, they certainly arent short of stories! we will certainly see within the next 72hrs! {Ed013's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Was there ever a takeover? The club website only ever mentioned investment.

Believable35 Unbelievable19

Which dumbo pressed unbelievable?,great draw eh,see how we go against an in form Prem team.

Agree2 Disagree0

Why have you voted unbelievable? the draw was done after wolves game, its not a rumour!

Agree1 Disagree1

These unbelievable votes need to be justified ed its 100% fact how can they say no?

Agree0 Disagree1

The question is, why would you actually put this FACT on a RUMOURS page?

Maybe that's why people think it's unbelieveable????

Maybe they just can't believe the poster would do that, or that the Ed's would actually approve it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ken Bates likes this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Putting a fixture from a very recent draw is the same as putting the transfer of a player which has been confirmed on
The os! Doesn't matter if it's not a rumour if it's worth the Leeds fans knowing then post it!

Had an argument at qpr with warnock so he won't come

Agree0 Disagree0

On loan ? cos we have no money

Agree0 Disagree0

And what exactly are we going to pay him with

Remind didn't Warnock and Diouf have a little tiff;D

Agree0 Disagree0

We could pay him in Leeds united pens I hear bates as plenty

heard a strong rumour that boyd and taylor from posh are coming to leeds there could not agree terms with ipswich only went along to hear them out there already know wot leeds are willing to pay since the pre season sinclair who plays for posh is a leeds lad and lets just leave it at that[kez1919]

Believable5 Unbelievable34

The same sinclair who was born in notts

Agree0 Disagree0

If they do come why not change our name to Portstmouth North?

Agree0 Disagree0

Taylor has agreed terms with ipswich would have boyd though but the fact we are skint rules us out of the running

Agree0 Disagree0

Because two PETERBOROUGH players wouldn't make us Portsmouth????

Agree1 Disagree0

Portsmouth North? Posh=Peterboro!

Agree0 Disagree0

First poster, sinclair was born in leeds. commentators said during the peterborough game!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, there is nothing quite like ignorance in action, as the first two replies show.
I would be fairly sure Emile Sinclair, (if that who poster one is talking about), hails from Leeds, and Peterborough and Portsmouth are two different clubs.
Boyd would be worth a punt if he could be afforded, but Tommy Rowe would be a better bet, he is class, just needs the right team.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fingers crossed (maybe it's all coming together now, finally, with the t/o allegedly being tied up...)! Doing my best not to count too many unborn chickens here! Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Were is dosh coming from? KB certainly wont let any cash out of his pockets. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Sinclair played for Leeds city boys. I played in the same team as him and Micah Richards

Agree0 Disagree0

If its emile Sinclair then he's actually from Nottingham he even played for them before getting released and there's no money to spend how can they be going Leeds Ipswich bid was for 1.5 for them both

Agree0 Disagree1

So what makes you think Leeds have any money to pay their wages then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed not spoke for a while anything going on behind scenes ie transfers / t over ? You heard owt from your sources? Think team starting to gel quite nicely at moment scoring goals ! And not shipping sh t loads as per past seasons,not looking too bad isit? Oh by the way the poster ref Portsmouth north!! Posh short for peterborough ! Pompie is Portsmouth !! Wingy Mk Leeds for life MOT ,!! {Ed013's Note - Unless Neil is being very clever, I can only see 2-3 players leaving mate. Nunez and Pugh favorites to go and maybe a move to the USA for the keeper}

Agree0 Disagree0

Great but where on earth is the £1.75M coming from to buy them, that would be the only sticking point!

Agree0 Disagree0

The same Paul Taylor who signed for Ipswich yesterday?

David Haigh of GFH Capital lands in
London Friday PM, Travels north to
ER on Saturday and will be once
again in KBs box for Blackburn game,
this I have from a very reliable/ solid
source within the commercial dept
at ER. It was also suggested to me
that i have a look atsome interesting
wording on GFH website about
their investment strategy

"GFH Capital takes a long-term
perspective and invests in growth
companies at all stages of
development; from founding start-ups
and fostering growth in developing
companies to leading complex
recapitalisations or large-scale
buy-outs of more mature businesses"."

Are LUFC a mature business or is the
takeover merely KB recapitalising his
assets eg Thorpe Arch and ER to ease
the cash flow situation at ER, hence
an investment and not the long
awaited take over we all want

StuW MOT

Believable6 Unbelievable31

Im sorry but nobody has said its a takeover only romours os always said investment i hope im proved wrong and we emerge as a profitable potential super leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Could mean either things ie t/ over or just investment ,good bit of info on them tho pal but as normal we got to wait and see, all good things come to those who wait !! So let's get behind the team, the staff, and get us bouncing again at er and on the road, and maybe just maybe the great vibe from the greatest loyal fans in the land will just tip the balance our way and show interested parties what they could have here given some investment in team/CLUB,Wingy Mk Leeds for life MOT ..

Agree0 Disagree0

A takeover has always been the position of LUST and it has not been denied by the club or anyone involved with the club that it is/ was a takeover however i fear its only a recapitalisation of assets by KB which means its not even an investment

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would any outside interest invest money in anything run by Ken Bates?

It's quite apparent - and openly shown, I believe - of how much Ken Bates has taken out of Leeds United, so why would anyone else finance his pockets.....

Hopefully, any investment - should it happen, will be a total takeover and Bates will be no more.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter Boll***ks, once the window is closed today, there is no pressure what so ever to complete before January.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Aug 2012 17:02:13
If the takeover was that close the new guys would fund any possible signings now, just like they have funded all summer, the reason they won't fund any is because the deal is still way off and no certainties.

Believable17 Unbelievable14

You've hit the nail on the head

Agree0 Disagree0

All the money spent by leeds so far has been given to warnock by the investors

Agree0 Disagree0

They will not give anymore, until Bates has signed on the dotted line, makes sence why would you.
mot4life

Agree0 Disagree0

How do we know investors financed all the signings? To me looks like we sold more than bought and halved the squad size hence been able to offer a few bosmans better money. Why would investors fund transfers when no takeover is guaranteed?

Agree1 Disagree0

All money spent by Leeds has actually come from the sale of our better players, nobody has put any money into the club

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with those who think our sales have paid for our new players, especially with Snodgrass leaving.

If anyone can prove otherwise - then do so?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunno about you guys, but I wouldn't be funding anything until I'd signed on the dotted line. I can't see a potential investor spending millions of pounds on the team only for the deal not to go through, can you?

Agree0 Disagree0

You can invest in a club without taking it over, they may have invested under a loan agreement that expires once they have control of the club. if bates had spent any money he would be banging on about it, we would never here the end of it, as it is he hasnt said anything. the silence speaks volumes. and i know about the confidentiality clause etc, but that wouldnt stop him from commenting on any investment in the squad he had made.

I have heard Beckford on the way to Hudders. I asked a ex player if he new if the bun story was true.had he herd anything from players he knew at leeds,he said from the things he has heard the take over will not happen. So it's just Diouf for us (if he signs that is) I know 1 thing though Ken Bates can not live for ever. At some point, maybe when he starts to lose money at Leeds he will go, my fear is the way he runs the club he can't fail to make money. any how.
Warnock and the lads will give it there all and that's all we can ask off them

Believable14 Unbelievable20

Not sure if we are going to get Beckford, But we still have no one playing with the 9no shirt...!!!!!! . Watch this space ..wink,wink.. SUPER LEEDS

Agree0 Disagree0

A club of our stature and yet we just cannot compete when it comes to signing the quality players we need to get back to the premiership. It's soooo frustrating knowing that all this talk of a takeover is just that, talk.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont talk bs, present players dont know whats happening, ex players dont know and we dont know, and u certainly dont, just another stirrer, person

Agree0 Disagree0

Load of rubbish mate the players haven't said a word before and they aint now. Doubt they know anything at all.

Agree0 Disagree1

Town dont want him..you can have him..fits into your age group...better out there !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its that much bull shi** I reported that Beckford maybe on his way to Hudders be4 sky s did. By the way my mate never played for Leeds, He has friends there.do you think Neil has not spoken to his players about goings on at the club, If he had not then he wouldn't have been as good a manager as I thought. Along the lines off, Lads we ain't got a pot to pi** in but it's us against them (motivational tactics) Did some off the new signings not say when they came exciting times on the way at Leeds, Hinting that they were in the no. Put it this way I'd put my house on it that we don't spend any money today. Not even a loan (Diouf has signed though )

After negotiations broke down with Marseille Joey Barton has accepted a loan offer with the possibilty of making the move permanent at the end of the season.
And Zac Thompson is having talks with Swindon Town.

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Utter nonsense. Barton isn't coming to Leeds. He's suspended for 12 games and marseille wanted him. Hardly going to drop down to us to work with a manager he publically slagged off. And we can't afford his wages. Think it through really

Maynard on his way to Cardiff.... Boyd linked with Ipswich....is it more target's missed due to not having anymore money & the constant rumour's of the takeover still being alive! I want to believe but don't see it & if it happens after tomorrow it's too little too late! Typical Leeds Utd no luck at all! :(

Believable15 Unbelievable1

Bates is sucking the life out of leeds,,i just cant c the takeover happening :(

Agree0 Disagree1

Luck has nothing to do with this except maybe the bad luck we have by having a greedy b*st*rd of a chairman who wont allow the club to spend any money on players.

My brother is a donny fan n the rumour going round his club is that we are looking at coppinger to boost are attacking oprions and also hearing we looking at jay spearing on loan with a view to permanant signing once takeover complete

Believable4 Unbelievable24

Jay spearing going on loan to bolton

Agree0 Disagree0

You really need to get upto speed. The talk of Spearing set for Bolton move as Liverpool agree £3m deal has been circulating all week.
He's not going on loan anywhere if the sports pages have it right. This post is rubbish and lacks any substance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spearing has joined bolton on loan already so thats a non starter as for coppinger why would we want him he has found his level now with donny

Agree0 Disagree0

Bolton have already secured a loan deal for spearing?

You just made yourself look very silly and you have a brother who supports Donny. Life surely can't get any worse

Heard a strong rumour that Michael Owen is prepared to drop his wage demands to drop down a division even prepared 4 a loan move, he's keen to play football regularly still & has said he'd drop down a league to a well supported club. Apparently Everton had younger targets,so lost interest,Celtic remain interested but Owen doesn't want to live in Scotland. Owen wants to pass on his experience & retire at a big club where he can start coaching...Heard a rumour Elland Road would suit him down to the ground! :D MOT... (Jonny C)

Believable8 Unbelievable42

Would love to see this happen, an england legend, but i bet his wages will be way too high for us! Mot
Nunnz89

Agree0 Disagree0

How can he be loaned to us he doesnt have a club is he gunna loan himself out to us, you just made this up and tell me this who would you drop mccormack or becchio to put him in team? get a grip

Agree1 Disagree0

I can't see it happening to be honest. Every interview i've heard he keeps saying how he's got so many offers, and how he is in such demand.

He is too full of himself to drop down a league, and our wage cap wont pay to keep him happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Considering he's a free player and out of contract a don't think a loan move is possible!

Soccer saturday a few weeks back he stated that he preferred to stay in premier league and he thinks he still can hack it at the level.

Agree0 Disagree0

All good in the short term, and yes he could probably do a job for us. But he's become very injury prone in his twilight years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only reason this could be true is that ER was a happy hunting ground for him. Maybe he figures if he played for Leeds he'd score every game!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We still have some of our own dead wood to shift, without taking on some more (injury prone) dead wood?

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously!! loan move?? shut up!! he doesnt have a bloody club!

leeds4life

im fed up of reading tripe on this site

Agree0 Disagree0

How can he be prepared for a loan move when he's not got a club? derrrrr

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, given the current financial position, the last thing Leeds could do with is an overpaid, overrated, underachieving, sicknote.
Maybe if he has been paying attention when he was being treated for his numerous injuries, he has a future as a physio.

Agree0 Disagree0

Loan move ? He's a free agent !

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not what he told Kammy on tv the other day, in fact Kammy asked him the question would he be prepared to go into the championship and it was NO he still thought he could do it in the prem.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can he be loaned he's a free agent you eejit.

Agree0 Disagree0

When did he say this, last i herd he wasnt interested in the championship?

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you talking about loan move ! he is a free agent he does not fall into the loan catergory. after frday if he doesnt havce a prem club then he wont until Jan , therfore he will remain a free agent. he will then be forced to join a championship club if he wants to carry on playing football

Agree0 Disagree0

How can he go out on loan he dont play for no body

Agree0 Disagree0

A loan move from who? He doesn't have a club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be good to get him on loan from free agent fc.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of C***, Owen won't be a loan deal as his contract has expired and anyway he wouldn't drop down to Championship as he has already said he has something to offer to the Prem still.

Agree0 Disagree0

He hasn't played regularly since he left Liverpool. I can't see this being true at all. He wants to get paid a load of money to sit on the bench and only play exhibition matches.

He should take a contract ini Qatar. They'd love him there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil Hay has tweeted that from what he's been told / understands the takeover will NOT be taking place anytime soon! But then again, I don't think anything Phil Hay says is true he is useless! Phil 'knows nothing' Hay, when the takeover does happen he needs sacking too

Believable19 Unbelievable15

But the sun newspaper knows more wake up,its just a fiddle to sell tickets for Blackburn game, hoping people believe we will have new owners.

Agree0 Disagree0

You are wrong on Phil Hay he is one of the most accurate reporters on Leeds. If he was to say its close I would be encoraged as he hasn't then for me its no where near happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

He said it was close couple of week back, i personally think he should keep his giant conk out off it. he is full off sh!t

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil Hay is always straight. He has sources close to the deal.

And think about what you're saying. The YEP needs LUFC to sell papers. He has to report as accurately as possible as we know what Ken Bates does to newspapers who speak out against him - well, maybe some don't - but he simply bans them from Elland Road and any press conference.

Sometimes I think our fans would rather hear good news than true news.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah does seem funny out of all the media in the world only the good old (some say) dependable, truthfull, never mistaken, 100% genuine $un has mentioned this detail?

Think I'll wait (again......)

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i wont be parting with another penny until he has turn the lights out locked the door and handed leys to who ever the new owners are.bates out

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil hay talks cak just tells us owt we already no
Russjon

Agree0 Disagree0

And then again I'm sure Phil in the past has said that takeover is close to completion ur it never happened. What encourages me is that this has been running for months and months and not even a footnote in the sun about it all the time then all of s sudden now they say 72hrs wonder why? They get a lot of stuff wrong but they also get a lot of stuff right, they wouldn't shift do many papers if they was always getting stuff wrong, prime eg - daily sport ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil hay knows sweet fa it wasnt that long ago he said the takeover is very close all he does his guess whats going to happen like all of us

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes already sed it was close several times the guys a clown!

Agree0 Disagree0

Those of you expressing your undieing love for Phil hay have very short memories. How many times has he said the deal is "imminent" or "all but done". His only source in the club is the sauce he has in his over priced rubber cheeseburger

El Haj Diouf wants a 2 year deal rather than a 1 year deal, thats why diouf not signed yet.

Nigel Reo-Coker and Matt Ritchie to sign tomorrow with Pugh, Nunez and Rachubka all leaving either on loan or sold.

As for the takeover it is expected to go through after the Blackburn game not before.

Believable14 Unbelievable25

Highly doubt this will happen in one day

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't expect it to go through at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

"As for the takeover it is expected to go through after the Blackburn game not before."

About the only bit or truth in this whole post - it will almost 100% certainly be AFTER the Blackburn game......

... maybe weeks, days, months, but certainly AFTER the game!

Former Leeds Utd target Craig Mackail Smith is subject to a tabled bid from Norwich City. He was rumoured to have rejected the chance to move to the canaries when he left Peterborough in favour of a move to Brighton.
Maybe Norwich thought he had moved to Leeds and then wanted to take another one of our players LOL

Current reports are that Master, sorry mister bates will be gone from our club within a couple of days, obviously he s waiting until the transfer window closes before he signs off on this, just to give us a final one fingered salute. Personally, I couldn t give a s**t when he goes whether its before or after the window closes, just as long as he never darkens our door again, so Ken, take your £50million (?) and your dodgy foreign bank accounts and go sun yourself somewhere else. Our boys have a tough game on Saturday I for one will be shouting that little bit louder if papa smurf is finally gone from our lives. MOT IrishWhite

Believable22 Unbelievable15

Its not going to happen, Bates will still be the landlord at Xmas. There are no guarantees the potential new owners, have any money to spend on the team. We could end up like Villa, who are declining since so called money people got involved.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he wait till after the window shuts?

Yeah it might cheese us all off, but not as much as not leaving at all......

... think about it?

Why be awkward, when with a bit more effort you can be an absolute fu**ing nightmare?

Agree0 Disagree0

Pity more owners of clubs don't behave like Bates.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pity more owners of clubs don't behave like Bates. Refuse to pay inflated transfer fees and grotesque wages and just maybe some common sense would return to football with the very very few real 'entertainers' being payed top dollar and the rest having to survive on wages closer to us mere mortals.

If the 72 hour rumour is true, it sounds too much like administration to me. GFH are not the buyers, but the company brokering the deal on the Sheikh's behalf. and we have zero in the bank.

Believable10 Unbelievable21

How can we be in administration when we are one of few clubs in the championship making a profit? papa smurf is ensuring the club lives within its means

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds Utd as a club is making a profit, just that it is part of a bigger company run by Bates which does have debts. Bates himself took on all the debt from the club when he took over by dubious means and then seperated the club so that he could say he had brought Leeds out of debt, how good do I look, i'm the saviour of LUFC etc etc. The debt went to his various off shore companies and he added to this building upgrading the stadium etc. So yes LUFC as a club is turning a profit, but LUFC the company is slowly going down the plug hole. Read the long article on the banter page for more information that is phrased better

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes me laugh genuine leeds fan know we won:t go into administration.the last 3years we have being making a profit, that;s down to the tight fisted old git.

Agree0 Disagree0

No he is not. the only profit comes from player sales, which he then creams off for himself.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a person comment from first poster administration we are debt free and operating on a profit

Cockney White

Agree0 Disagree0

Again this is a bad post. Admin is used when you have unserviceable debt of a significant kind. We don't have that. We don't have any money but we don't have debts like that anymore. Don't think GFH are brokers more like front men.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lack of cash (Cahflow) is generally what puts businesses into administration, not whether it is profitable or not at the end of the year!

Having said that, I do not believe we are close to administration, there are plenty of people/banks who would loan money to a profitable business which Leeds is, to ease cash flow issues - JH

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster not leeds, just an ignorant person who knows nothing

Hearing rumor takeover completion meeting to occur Friday. Scheduled to last whole day if necessary. Some of the more heavyweight guys from the buyer Bank will be there. Reason twofold. Put extra pressure on Bates to sign deal and at their own lawyers request as they accept Bates very unlikely to sign Indemnity Deed. Their presence at meeting will help any future legal action should certain standard representations and warranties given by Captain B Eye not come up to par. Hearing Buyer is willing to forego Indemnity and take a chance but on condition KB leave completely ie no Chairman Life President role. KB apparently willing to do this. Deal may be done in time for club to make bids on players before deadline expires but it is not expected that anything would happen due to time constraints. Looks like moment for Bates to pack up finally here but we won't see any "marquees" til January 2013.

That's LESS than 72 hours away......

... we can but hope though!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers lad never mind the persons.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it is true...I suspected for a while the takeover was going to happen, and wouldn't it be just like Papa Smurf to ensure the deal is done right after the xfer window ends.

Bates is waiting till transfer window is shut so we can't bring in the 3-4 class players warnock wants (and needs) one last kick in the b*llocks of LUFC supporters from Bates

Agree0 Disagree0

Not getting my hopes up as it is all in the air what is happening. The only person who knows when he will sign is KB and he is not going to tell us, he loves keeping us guessing.

Its the hope that kills you:[

It maybe true because David Haigh of GFH flew to Bahrain this morning and is then flying to the UK later. It was on his twitter account yesterday. We live in hope MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought David Haigh flew into the UK a few days ago - takeover didn't happen then either!

And why is the s(h)un the only media outlet to post this 'news' if it's so obviously imminent.....

.... or has Bates sworn all the other media to a confidence agreement in return for them being the 'first' to break the news when it happens...

Dream on, situation normal - no change, just keep calm and carry on..!!

Agree0 Disagree0

If the take over is done before the blackburn i will and i promise to drop my shorts in my seat in the kop, im so confident that this wont happen im going in jeans

Bates to be replaced by GFH Capital in the next 72 hours according to today's current bun

Believable16 Unbelievable19

Oh well, it must be true then.... yeah right!

Agree0 Disagree0

If its in the bun it must be true !

Agree0 Disagree0

This bun was cooked using the sun's heat.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like administration to me. thought GFH were the middle men brokering the deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

What make you think we are in administraion? GFH do brokering, financial support, takeovers, and investment. This doesnt say Administration

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at it like this: the initial takeover fell through. the brokering firm are desperate for it to still go ahead, so will force Bates to sell to them so they can duly pass us on to a new owner in a more professional manner. and they now know the financial hole we are in, so if they can get us on the cheap through administration they will gladly.

KEN BATES looks set to end his controversial reign at Leeds in the next 72 hours.

Islamic Investment bank Gulf Finance House Capital are close to a £50million takeover deal and they will replace chairman Bates with David Haigh.

Team boss Neil Warnock has had discussions with the prospective new owners about transfer funds and their plans to get back into the Premier League.

A source close to the deal told SunSport: "Things are moving quickly. GFH Capital are eager to start rebuilding Leeds United."

Looks promising but im not getting my hopes up no more lost intret in this take over thing does head in

We are all desperate now so please be careful of raising your hopes when quoting a story from them!

A source close to the deal told SunSport: "Things are moving quickly"

Based on previous experiences then, this could happen sometime in the next few days, weeks or months or so, or it could take longer, or it might not happen at all.......

Agree0 Disagree0

I so want it to be true, but until the OS or the YEP inform us, I'll take it as hearsay, again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Things are moving quickly... You have to be joking! This has to be the longest and most painful takeover ever!

Agree0 Disagree0

OK.... Firstly David Haigh is NOT the head of the consortium is just the broker involved, this information is RUBBISH as its factualy incorrect from the start!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does't say David Haigh head of consortium,it'' says he will replace Bates as chairman.

Agree0 Disagree0

David Haigh parents are from Leeds. He was born in Leeds and later raised in Cornwall. Now a leading light at GFH.
Not sure though if GFH are buying LUFC or just the go-between for the Arabs.
