A newspaper stating that McDermott will face the sack if he doesn't get Leeds promoted this season. Apparently Cellino "expects Leeds to get to the Premier League immediately." In my opinion a load of drobble, but this is Leeds we're talking about; nothing's improbable.

Report is in Sunday Mirror so far from credible as it's a newspaper. Have to say though still think McDermott is on borrowed time as performances simply not good enough and substitutions absolutely baffling, none more shocking than yesterday when leaving kebe on pitch until last minute of game, with him and Stewart, both McDermott signings, is almost like playing with 9 men

Agree4 Disagree1

Wont lose any sleep over that

Agree2 Disagree1

Well BMcD Did say his job is dependant upon results so could well be if not before!

Agree3 Disagree1

I rate mcDermott to many negative fans! He will do fine with time, next season is leeds year! MOT Joel

Agree2 Disagree3

Absolutely well said while these two are playing its like playing with 9 men, neither contribute in the least, panick buys, Stewart worst player we have ever signed.

Agree3 Disagree2

I don't think Cellino can realistically target promotion this season. I think as long as the club is heading in the right direction come the summer McDermott will be here next season.

Ed- is there a stipulation in kebe contract saying he must start every game. I was one who defended him at first match fitness and all that. But I've had enough now its not fitness the guy just has no passion or fight. Not what the white shirt stands for

{Ed001's Note - almost all loan agreements have a playing time clause within them. It just means the loan can be cancelled if the player is not getting enough playing time usually. The only time that really becomes an issue is if the loan came with a big fee involved. Kebe plays because McDermott loves him, when he is playing well he is a handful for defenders. I have to say that I can't actually recall him playing well more than twice myself, but McDermott seems to think he can get him to perform.}

Cheers Ed you guys doing a great job

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate, Ed013 is away for a couple of weeks, so you will probably find you will have a few different eds filling in as and when. He said something about a fact-finding mission in Italy for Survivor before he left. Not sure what he meant though......}

Agree with Ed BmD loves him but I feel BmD is playing him as he knows what he USED to be able to do and NOT what he can do now!

Hey who am I to judge

Hi ed01 maybe ed13 is alias Jeff, alias, survivor whoooo that' May set the conspiracies mongers working overtime, does anyone know of the next LOANEE to sign and what day? As maybe if it's a quality midfielder maybe B Mac will drop lazy ass kebe to warm bench is say kebe as Stewart is as bad but at least he runs time to time as for Kebe when signed thought he'd terrorise this leagues defenders! What a bloody let down then thought not quite match fit well I think he's still on he's pre season beach holiday at moment as just not upto it! What you guys think, maybe if it's Rodwell or sigguardson then he'll be back on beach when they arrive!

I also have lost patience with him, he's playing at the moment like a guy who has just started playing football. Brian knows he has/had it in his locker once, its just not happening! surely ending the loan & getting ANYBODY else in would be an option (as long as the fee wasn't high to get him). At the same time lads, let's not boo him, he needs encouragement - the playoffs is still just a possibility. MOT

Agree1 Disagree2

I agree he is not playing well at all and I do not understand why McD persists with these tactics when we have Byram on the bench.

Agree1 Disagree1

If we were going to go for an experienced right winger, we should have gone for Burke, who is much more industrious and resilient -and can move inside and shoot to great effect too. Strange one. Chapel A

Love kebe, he's a real team player which we defiantly lack, yh he dnt score many but he does his job in trying to create, and its players like austin and stewart that need 2 learn they need 2 pass far more. in the time kebe has been here I couldn't fault him. now we have wickham and butland people seem 2 think we should have better than kebe which is unrealistic. he's a top proven championship player.

Agree1 Disagree4

Haha.cheers Mrs Kebe . We respect your loyalty to your son . Now go and lie down and have a word with yourself love!

Agree2 Disagree1

I was 3 rows from touchline at Loftus Rd (I live locally and couldn't get a seat in our end!), so I was able to take advantage of the unusual intimacy of that ground. I started to see a little more what Brian might hope to get out of Kebe. Superficially he looks ungainly, but the players coming-up against him look very uncomfortable. I think he can cause trouble. Maybe he'll come-good too late for this season, but I'm coming round to the pro-Kebe camp; let's see what happens when the mysterious 5th loanee arrives. PK

Agree1 Disagree2

Green loaned out - kebe loaned in! That's more positive than negative if you ask me! If he's still in starting line up next year (in current form) then maybe il be asking questions. But for now he'll do for me! Cameron stewert on the other hand. Is a MAJOR concern.

Agree2 Disagree1

Tbh, I'm anti Burke, but i'd snap the hands off the Birmingham for him now .

Agree1 Disagree1

If it is a confidence thing then we should send him to a hypnotist .Someone who will convince him that he is a world beater and if Stewart goes with him we may get cheap rates.Whatever happened to sports psychologists and the inner game?

I agree wholeheartedly that kebe isn't playing well. But I think this comes down more to the fact we haven't got a ball playing midfielder. I see Murphy who can do it in the future but not now. We need someone who can play a killer ball and cut open the defence it doesn't happen which is a reason why kebe and Stewart aren't playing well. This 5 loan signing has to be creative centre mid.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is the managers tactic that are at fault. He has Austin going forward, yet Murphy is better at that and Austin is a better ball winner. He has Stewart playing on the wrong wing and Kebe who doesn't deserve a place in the starting line up. Byram would play far better in that position. Hunt was a shocking signing, we will not be able to shift him. I would not be surprised to see a new manager come the summer unless we start playing a lot better and win games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol kebe dnt deserve a place are you mad? he puts far more effort in than stewart and has been doing well 4 us. we see butland and wickham come in now everyone wants that kind of standard but we don't have the money so kebe is fine give the man a chance jeeze

Agree0 Disagree0

Kebe was pivotal in Reading's battering of almost everyone in the Championship in their promotion season. Give him some time and - above all - encouragement and I'm sure he'll come good.

Leeds to move for Cagliari 19 year old talent Dario Del Fabro in summer

Believable45 Unbelievable7

Really looking forward to see who, if any Cagliari players join us. I'm hoping for 3 max. Winger, Central mid and a striker (if Wickham doesn't stay)

Del Fabro . uh yes please

Agree1 Disagree0

Leeds to be linked to every player to have been anywhere near Cagliari in the last 10 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Better than being linked to

Beckford
Smith
Sharp!
Hill
Burke

Agree0 Disagree0

If there's one player Cellino will never sign, it's Beckford so I, for one, am a happy CityWhite
