So, regarding a new keeper. Evans is awaiting a call tomorrow from a premier league manager he has known for years. On the basis of deduction, i'm going for Alan Pardew with the keeper being Julian Speroni. I hope I am right and if I am, I would expect him to go straight in to the team.

Would be great signing, always rated him surprised he is not in their first team.

Speroni is 37 and had said he will never leave and wants to retire at crystal palace, so would be lucky if we sign him. What about Willy Caberllero from Man Utd or Myhill from Swansea I think, or even Jack Butland from Stoke but that is a long shot, even though he was on loan at Leeds a few years ago.
And do we even need a new keeper, will have the young American and a England U19 so why not give them a shot (literally)

Speroni born 1979 makes him 35. Myhill plays for west brom. Caballero plays for man city. Agree about Horton though, could give him a chance.
