Not a player transfer rumour this one but just wondering if anyone saw the article in yesterdays YEP that divulged some information about GFH Capital borrowing or moving some funds around in conjuction with a Dubai based business. I couldn't seem to make sense of it anyone have any info?

Yes. David Haigh borrowed some funds from another company he is a Director of and deposited it with GFH. Maybe it's Bates' leaving bonus. JD

Yorkie, yep you are correct. BUT, before you get all excited it appears it was a loan from a company who has its base in the British Virgin Islands, and whose registered office IS in the same Dubai building as GFH.

And if that wasn't co-incidental enough one of the directors of said company is one David Haigh.

On the face of it - this just confirms that they don't want to invest - lots of rumours going around its takeover time again!

More like a loan from a ken bates company to keep the cancer in the loop of the club we will never get rid of him from our beloved club until he has liquidated us as he once said he would

It's a consolidation of GFH loans nothing to do with not wanting to spend

What possible reason is there for a transfer embargo?

Rumour going round Liverpool that Andre Wisdom may be on his way to Leeds on loan.

Never heard of him. Brian has already said he's not in the market for backs, and Brian's record points to him not signing premiership players. So, no chance.

Hope he is as funny as his namesake Norman. we could do with a laugh!

He is a chapletown lad, so this could hold weight.

This guy is quality, andre wisdom would be perfect if byram goes, as he can play right back or CB. good at moving the ball forward and very good in his defensive discipline (something byram lacks) could mean byram to Liverpool with a loan back to us for the season getting used to playing with his future Liverpool defensive partner.

Wisdom got a bit of game time at Liverpool last season but that will be limited with Martin Kelly coming back from injury. He's a Leeds lad, and he needs a lot of game time. He's good enough for Leeds

Guys guys calm down. Wisdom is class. I've watched him a lot for Liverpool as I live in the pool along with lots of owners reds. This guy can play. He's a centre back that can play at right back and covered Glen Johnson last year. He is strong and pacey and gets forward. Put it this way fulham are interested in him but he fancies up north.
