This maybe nothing,but was at game tonight and a range rover vogue pulled up and this gentleman who was suited and booted met him as he got out,I was hanging around near radebe suite within listening distance,and first thing he asked him was "well then have you some info for me on this blasted takeover",his reply was "that's dead in the water that",don't know who he was but got the feeling he was someone who knew what he was talkin about,this conversation happened as they were making there way into the radebe suite,just letting you know what I overheard

It is nothing as it never happened , and just coz they were in a range rover, don't make them important. also the men who are trying to make it happen are back in dubai. it was probably one of the stewards talking about the takeway across the street

I always like to come on here after a game and see who has been either A, been sat next to some high ranking official who just decides to blurt out the entire takeover situation to a complete stranger probably without even been asked. B, sat near good old Eddie Gray who while doing commentary funds the time to shout aloud that the takeover is complete/dead in the water depending on how he woke up that morning or C, overheard a guy in a tie who comes from Mumbai say "de takeover isss complete" as he gets out his state of the art skoda octavia throwing bundles of cash in the air!! Check the dates there's always someone willing to say something on match day

Why is it some people never believe what people are sayin,I am telling you what I heard,now I'm not saying he had anything to do with the takeover directly but he could have known a little bit more than we do.

I mean really a range rover pulls up and the deals off, how many people drive a range rover. the deal will only be off or on once the club have made there statement, I appreciate this is a rumours site and that everybody is entitled to a opinion, But at least make them believable if your going to make them up.

Don't worry OP if you come on here and state some complete rubbish but it is pro takeover people lap it up. Say something negative about it and you end up bein called names. I just wish something would get sorted out but really promising team with or without investment at the moment

Diouf to sign a permanent 1 year deal by end of window and in loan window we may sign Swindon winger Matt Ritchie and Apostos Vellios from Everton. Both will sign permanent deals in January after takeover!

Diouf can sign for anyone at anytime. He is a free agent and the transfer window has no baring on the matter. Free agents can be signed anytime

Why would swindon, a lower league club, loan us there player.

Ken Bates will sign the deal off on 01/09/2012 just to make sure no players are bought in to save himself money before he makes his millions in the deal, because he still in theory owns the club and transfer shuts on Fri, any players in cost him, why would he spend before leaving ?

This is complete nonsense. The budget for playing staff is completely open and above board and NW knew exactly what it was when agreeing to take over. The budget that Bates gives his managers is incredibly generous in that they have the entire gate receipts to spend. If we do not have a good enough or big enough squad then it is down to the manager and not Bates.

Utter nonsense - the figure is for the business and will have been agreed as part of the due diligence - the money in the bank is not Ken Bates, it is Leeds United's within their accounts! Ken will purely take a salary throughout the year or a dividend at financial year end regardless of whether he owns the majority, not throughout the year. What do you think they have to do, ask KB to sign a cheque every time they want to buy the stationary? JH

Don't know what school of finance you studied at. If Bates sells today, any subsequent transfer will be a liability of the new owners #basic

This would be like selling a car, the new owner kevving it up and asking you to pay. Obviously that's not how it works.

It makes no difference. The new potential owners will be buying bates's shares. If they sell the whole team or buy 50 more players all transactions will done as part of the agreed budget and therefore have no effect on the investment. What is clear however is that mr Bates will not put additional funds forward from his own pocket. He hasn't done it before and it will be stupid to do it now.

Strong rumours that QPR winger Angelo Balanta will be anounced as a season loan signing tonight and will go straight into the starting eleven for tonights game.

If it's a 'strong' rumour, how come nobody else anywhere in the media seems to have heard it?

I received a text in the early hours saying there's going to be a statement issued today from Leeds utd regarding the current takeover situation. Have no idea though as to what the information is. I'll keep you informed.

Probably Ken telling us hes managed to sell all the pens and can now afford to pay Diouf for a few months!

Don't understand the bashing of LUST.

They're the only group who have made any attempt to keep the fans informed of what is going on with our club. We wouldn't have had a single statement from LUFC if it wasn't for the pressure put on them by LUST. They are in contact with the buyer so they're not making stuff up.

If Bates has got nothing to be afraid of, then why the insistence on utter secrecy and silence? He's the man refusing to sell the club. Direct your anger at him, not a group doing everything they can for the good of the club.

So LUST should maybe have a better understanding of finaces before they start throwing stupid comments about Admin out there , it effect the players.
