Reece Wabara set to join Leeds on loan as part of the £8m Byram to City deal

Believable28 Unbelievable86

I'd get him permanent as part of deal! Play peltier in natural position and use the rest to strengthen midfield and wing areas with a cb and pacey forward!

Agree0 Disagree0

Err, in your dreams. No chance of Man City offering £8m when we would bite their hand off for £4m.

Agree1 Disagree0

I am also hearing the same, but Byram will stay on season loan, this is from from an ex player. but don't know the value, can't see it been 8m.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id sell him 4 the greater good.

Agree0 Disagree0

It clearly states byram won't b sold so quit being dumb and making these daft rumours up.

Agree0 Disagree1

I've a sneaky feeling Everton will come in for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt ridsdale say ferdinand would never be sold? I don't want byram to leave but if we could get a few million an keep him on loan for the season i'd take it and buy the two wingers we need and maybe a playmaker and we'll crack it! Our strikers will get more if they get better service, and last year there was no service at all! Varney and green ain't wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

We never actually owned Ferdinand.
It was like buying a house through a mortgage company. You don't actually own it until you make all the payments so, we never actually sold Ferdinand. we never actually owned him.
Having been a shareholder, turns out I didn't actually own any part of the club either. Thanks Pete.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ex-shareholder here my shares went west when Bates dumped the company and lined his own pockets

Expect the worst at ER until we get rid of Bates completely, I'm sure if things are that bad Bates will be offering a couple of million for a 200% return

Not very bright investors our guys no wonder their bank in trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour started when Mancini was manager I doubt Pellegrini even knows who Byram is

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 09:54:06
Word here in Spain is that pellegrini knows very well who by ram is, and was talking of trying to bring him here, so don't discount city. But personally, I doubt he'll be going anywhere.

Leeds poised to make another signing on o/s everyone thinking noel hunt? Hopefully it will be a pleasent suprise :)

Believable42 Unbelievable20

Sorry, I may have missed the obvious, but I cannot see/read, on O/S that we are poised to make another signing!

All Salah Nooruddin has stated is that
" our aim is to further strengthen the squad through sensible additions which will add to the long term future of the club" which I whole heartedly endorse but, but I see/read no reference to immediate signings!

Agree0 Disagree3

It's hardly everybody, I'm not thinking Noel Hunt.

Agree0 Disagree0

There's another news article as original post states. However, I hope it's not noel hunt and hope it's another youngster. After all, we're meant to be building for the future

Agree2 Disagree0

The signings noel hunt

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2013 06:48:31
They said that on 11th June as well

Agree0 Disagree0

The signing is Simon Church, trust me. Trevo

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon its the brentford kid

Agree0 Disagree1

Why another striker we want a winger and a creative midfield player.

Agree0 Disagree0

'why another striker'? are you for real we NEED to replace becchio, morison is not the answer! I agree we need other players but a top goalscorer would be top of my list and i'm not sure noel hunt is the man either. now church is a different prospect, a real livewire with an eye for goal and a real handful for defences at this level he maybe could be the one!

According to Brian McDermott there is a verbal agreement for a player to come in next week. Player not named but I believe it to be Noel Hunt. MOT

Believable43 Unbelievable13

Probably but I think we desperately need a player maker in midfield, wingers and another centre back before more strikers

everone is talking about leeds have no money.
we are owned by an investment bank, who invest not buy.
BMD will build a team to which we will be proud of, once that team starts performing and winning on the pitch someone will want to invest and be part of the structure at er.
so have faith brothers the window opens soon let's see what brian brings in.

Big Grah

Agree4 Disagree4

Reply 2, well said. This is the positive attitude this site is lacking.

Agree3 Disagree0

The verbal agreement is NOT with Noel Hunt it is with Reece Wabara

Agree1 Disagree0

Verbal Agreement not worth the paper its written on. We been had, again OR have we?!
I'll be there, wotever, forever.
Leeds for Life, Live for Leeds. MOT

Agree1 Disagree1

Bmd comes across as a devoted lufc fan and he believes in us fans so let us believe in him. let's wait and see what happens whom ever is the signing its in bmd plans. get behind our manager

Agree1 Disagree0

Player maker in midfield. maybe is charlotte church after all then. :-P

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with reply 2+3. Thank god for some positivity.

Negativity becomes a habit, and when the fans have got it, it quickly makes itself know on the pitch. Let's not undermine the team before the season even kicks off.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sixth reply, please tell me that's a joke "verbal agreement not worth the paper is written on!" Lol

I just hope it's a pleasant suprise, but have a feeling it will be hunt. I think a few people may be missing the fact this would be an out of contract player, otherwise it would be the club not the player who makes the verble agreement.

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh let's see what happens give them a chance it will be the same at it has been for the last 10 years scraching around for s**** but I belive brian is the right man to take the club forward as for you who think there will be any sort of investment dream on. belly peacocks forever

Our 'owners' are approaching all current commercial partners / suppliers to the club and looking to 'sell' service extensions and seeking money up front. It is all £500k here and £250 there but doesn't bode well for this summers transfers. The story is "everything is going to plan but much slower than they expected and they are not happy with the way the club is being run commercially [bye bye Mr Harvey] but the future is bright so give us some money"

Believable39 Unbelievable17

We need some good positive news soon, my brothers an Udders fan and he's driving me up the wall. Please please release some funds for BM before all the players worth having have been snapped up. This is getting very very serious now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Total fan fiction.

Bad times ahead.

GFH have shown Australians and Indians around and end up getting a loan from David Haighs loan company.

Matt Mills deal is off due to high wages.

Simon Church will sign next week.

Believable38 Unbelievable40

Are you sure its not Chatlotte Church!
lol

Agree0 Disagree0

At least she has a couple of options 'Up Front'!

KTJ - Abu Dhabi

Agree0 Disagree0

Negative name, negative comments, negative everything. Come on fallen giant, good times ahead.

Agree1 Disagree0

New owners no money been like that since we went bust why is everybody so surprised that we don't have any money!

The only thing we do have is no overdraft like every other club

Championship footy for a while until the prem league breaks up and heads into a European league because that's next

Bournemouth want Pearce

Hull & Crystal Palace interested in Warnock.

Believable30 Unbelievable27

Pearce was a massive disapointment last season so better off getting rid and bringing someone else in. As long as GFH actually let McDermott spend it

Agree1 Disagree0

They can have him, he was a crap manager anyway!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2013 13:53:36
Warnock has been great so far but if he can bring in £500K he'll be off, given we have 4 left backs on our books and his wages will be decent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock not for sale! Pearce is available if we can get a replacement and a substantial fee is offered

Agree1 Disagree0

I liked Warnock in his first few games but his marking became dreadful and a number of goals conceded were down to him. Get a good price, let him go! Pearce can go as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Given our strength in depth at left back, together with his age and length of contract, I'd be happy for Warnock to be let go, to free up some funds. He's been a tidy, reliable performer, but lacks pace, and isn't going to get any better. Pearce at least has relative youth and a usefully combative approach on his side. I think he will be disappointed in his contribution last season -but believe he has potential for improvement. He was, to a degree, messed around from November onwards, firstly by Warnock playing that crazy 3 man defensive system vs Watford, which led to him losing his place after being sent off; and secondly by Warnock's obsession with finding a place in the side for Peltier. Besides which, we don't have any other specialist centre back besides Lees on our books -so it would be crazy to let Pearce without getting at least 1, possibly 2, higher quality centre backs in. Chapel A

Agree2 Disagree0

Pearce didn't get a great chance last season. He looked good until the Watford game, and after that he never regained his place, so I don't think we've seen the best of him yet. Likewise with Morison.

Agree1 Disagree0

hope it's neil Warnock!

from tv, mc D words
"The situation isn't what I expected but I'm at this football club and fully committed to it. I've got a lot of time for the staff and supporters and they deserve success. " here we go again FFS, GFH rubbishTERS

Believable39 Unbelievable8

The 1 glimmer of hope we have is Brian McD in my opinion. He is refreshing in his honesty and seems to relate to the fans and appreciate our importance. I still have faith that he can find some gems who won't cost the earth. All that said, my god we need someone to buy us or at least invest properly into the club. The potential return on investment has could be huge with promotion

al1977

Agree1 Disagree0

When will this ever end. we are being taken for complete and utter mugs - its an absolute joke of a club at moment. the outgoings he refers to - byram? lees? would raise monies, ideally brown, norris, varney, green etc but who wants them?. the club I love is slowly but sureley being run into the ground, with no sign of it getting any better. how come we manage to get saddled with the only arab investment bank that is potless? sorry to rant but its de ja vu from this time last year.

Agree2 Disagree0

We are going to be a laughing stock again, Who else believes Bates has shares in GFH?
We are going to be worse off than ever.
At least B McD stood up and told us how it is. I am slowly loosing faith in my beloved Leeds utd

The way it's all going at Leeds united so far we could go down. For fs get these persons out of or club not looking forward at all to this season gutted.

Agree1 Disagree0

What else is there to say? No money why can't they just be honest. However brain does say theirs a 2nd deal done already.
It's a joke when Huddersfield are spending more than us they are being linked with 2.5m double signings while we getting linked with freebies. Luke murphy great young player 1m Rowe another who wants to move to us. I would love them both at the club. I would like to see youth getting used instead of freebies and loans. But keep hold of them and build a good team top 10 finish at the moment I think

Durham white

Agree0 Disagree0

The sooner the better it all ends! And develop another shopping centre plus Hotels Casinos etc. Just the stuff GFH should do rather than pretend to run our club. These people are just a complete waste of time. Don’t believe anything they say. Enough is Enough. STAY AWAY FROM HOME MATCHES!

Agree0 Disagree3

Having listened to B Macs interview with Adam Pope earlier, seems more and more likely Byram will be goin, as he, s the only player at the club who would bring in the required £, I can, t imagine there bein a que of clubs to sign the likes of Brown, Varney, Norris, Tonge etc Pugh may well end up at Sheffield Wednesday, Pearce maybe back to Bournemouth, as for B Mac fair play for him sticking around he were made promise, s ala warnock last summer and yet again the clubs board have been unable to back the manager, a free transfer signing in Smith and more than likely another next week in Noel hunt, but sadly yet again no sign of actual £ bein spent, GFHC have yet to spend a single penny on a player since they, ve been in charge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Skint again and won't sell byram, maybe they should sell and get some cash in or we are doomed and probably managerless in a month or two.

Agree0 Disagree0

So now the truth is out! All the mugs coming on here an telling us not to be negative? GFH why have you bought us? To make a fast buck? Were no better off than before so another season of frustration and our only quality players being sold? Thanks for nothing : (

Agree1 Disagree0

GFH are a bunch of potless chancers that could get us relegated next year. We deserve better. GFH out!

Agree1 Disagree0

If there is a pot of gold, why would
Leeds advertise the fact? Why would they tell the fans? All this would serve to do is to stir up the parasites, the likes of Barry Fry. An opportunity to over value any player of interest. Leeds have done the right thing there and ignored his latest rumblings about Tommy Rowe. So put away the suicide pills and wait and see.

Agree0 Disagree0

What have the owners done wrong this time, it's not their fault they aren't loaded to the gils. Nor is it their fault that players agents ask for stupid salaries that would and will bankrupt clubs. If the money isn't there, it eod be idiocy on a grand scale to borrow on the back of future income, what happened when we did that last. Some so called fans really need to exercise their brains more often.

Agree0 Disagree1

We`ve already borrowed against future season ticket money thanks to Bates. Its not fans that need to get real but rather successive set of feckless owners.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naive.

All this "invest now" is stupid. No sane investor will waste money on football because there is little guarantee of a return.
