jason peace complete deal just now sky sports news 15mins ago

Believable23 Unbelievable15

Thanks for wasting us time, theres nowt on skysports about a new signing, cheers for that.

Agree0 Disagree0

We havent yet but paul jewell has said hes missed out on him as pearce as all but signed for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Right on Sky Sports is it, why do people just lie, do really have nothing better to do! He may sign, he may not, but why say he has an its on skysports when its not!

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't he contracted till may the first anyways
So it can't be revealed till his old deal runs out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jason Pearce and Greg Halford were not included in Pompey's match day squad today. Michael Appleton did say that those players who Pompey had received, and had accepted offers for, would not be included in todays squad. So am 100% certain that Pearce will complete deal when transfer window opens. With Halford also not being in today's squad am of the opinion that he will also be joining Leeds. Pompey fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck Pompey fan,on a swift return to the championship,we Leeds fans understand the miss management and its the fans it affects the most
MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope Halford and Pearce is true, great signings at this level.

Agree0 Disagree0

On Portsmouth.co.uk The News is that Jason Pearce was not able to play in the last game as part of the terms of his move to Elland Road. {Ed020's Note - sure does!! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pearce-and-halford-on-their-way-as-sales-hot-up-1-3787314 }

leeds to make a 1.5 million pound bid for for swansea midfielder leon britton as bates looks to back warnock more than he did grayson

Believable11 Unbelievable38

Over ambitious for a player in the top 3 pass completion in the PREMIERSHIP, we should go after leadbitter

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't agree more Leadbitter would be a fantastic signing....

Agree0 Disagree0

First choice player for a prem club - silly rabbit

Agree0 Disagree0

Think there will be a few interesting signings just dont want diouf. Reports Smith considering coaching role at Newcastle , offer him same role here but signed on just in case.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coaching role at newcastle! has any of you got brains jesus!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leon britton has the best season pass completion in europe right now ahead of xavi and the like, why would leeds be able to sign him?? And why would they sell him for as little as 1.5 mil and more importantly where have we got 1.5 mil from when today we have just announced plans for a gaming complex at elland road??

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha leon britton. last post summed that 1 up. best passer in europe this season and you think he gonna dropto us from premier league. are you for real?

Agree0 Disagree0

All i've got to say is that he went to sheff united at the start of last season and never played so went back to swansea and look where he is now

Grant Leadbitter rejects new Ipswich offer. Hmm possible signing for Leeds?

Believable26 Unbelievable9

I would like to think Warnock could get him to Leeds but there will be many clubs on the phone to him but you never know

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon he is one of the signings that warnock was talking about mot

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard he'd signed a pre-contract with 'Boro?

According to a local paper in Munich called abendzeitung, hoffenheim forward Kevin Holland will not be renewing his loan spell at 1860 münchen in the summer and plans to move to England for a season with Leeds its showing interest.

Believable21 Unbelievable9

Im getting confused with this one as some people are saying Holland , Some Voller and some Volland , which is it. Voller seems to be Rudi's son. If he is hald as good as Yeboah or Hasselbaink then would be good , doubt it though

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Volland (born 30 July 1992 in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria) is a German footballer, who plays for TSV 1860 München on loan from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and previously the German under-19 national team.[1] He made his professional debut on 14 August 2010, when he came on for Djordje Rakic in the DFB-Pokal match against SC Verl.[2] When Hoffenheim reviewed Volland's contract in November 2011, they decided to extend his contract at the club until 2015. His contract at TSV München, however, expires in the summer of 2012.
He is presently in the roster for the Germany national under-21 football team.

With Neil Warnock's retained list coming out next week, this would be what I would like to see happen if I was him (but I'm not haha) And yeah we all know that Diouf's scum but these types of players are great to have on your side, a bit of unpredictability is what we need

GK: Lonergan
RB: NEW RB, SUGGESTIONS?
CB: NEW CB, SUGGESTIONS?
CB: Pearce (Seems done)
LB: NEW LB, SUGGESTIONS?
RM. Snodgrass
CM. Clayton
CM. Green (Likely)
LM. Diouf (Call me mad but he'd add some fire to our team)
ST. Somma
ST. Becchio

SUBS: Pugh, White, McCormack, Lees, Rogers

Reserves: Bruce, YOUNG LOAN GK, C.Taylor, Nunez, Turner, Turner, Brown, Poleon, Lenighan, Gimpel, OLD JOURNEYMAN WHO CAN PLAY UP FRONT, SUGGESTIONS?

27 man squad including youth players

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Clint hill CB hopefully, maybe kevin davies as journeyman CF, and start looking at young hungry players for the squad from youth team and lower leagues!

Agree0 Disagree0

Somehow I just can't see a front pair of somma and becchio being NW's first choice next season. i get the feeling he'll bring in someone new up front

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post! I think that Paddy Kenny will be signed if QPR stay up? We do need a few experienced players in key postions, so add Hill, Bowyer or Derry and Diouf, who could all help the younger players from the U18's coming through. Gimpel looks quality!

Agree0 Disagree0

GK: Lonergan
RB: Gunter
CB: Pearce
CB: Lees (Loves LUFC!) If not, Upson, Mills, St Ledger, Woodgate or Hill
LB: Robinson
RM: Snodgrass
CM: Clayton
CM: Leadbitter
LM: Adomah
ST: McCormack
ST: Rodriquez (Becchio to Boro - 3mill)

SUBS: Pugh, White, Nunez, Bowyer, Bruce, Brown, Somma

Agree0 Disagree0

Great team from 4th reply. would love to see that!

Agree0 Disagree0

I know that he'll never be the same again, but paddy kisnorbo does deserve a bench or squad player status surely?

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin davies is very unlikely and only possible if bolton relegated

Agree0 Disagree0

GK Lonergan
RB Gunter/halford
CB lees
CB mills, or st ledger
LB white/harte(white could learn so much)
RM Snoddy
CM Clayton
CM leadbitter
ST Becchio
Mccormack
Subs; Pugh,taylor, kisnorbo, rogers, somma

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately football is business, and paddy must go. No time for sentiment and I`m sure he`s been payed well by lufc !
"T"

Agree0 Disagree0

An old experienced striker like errrrr..... mikael forssell?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love Michael Owen to join as experienced play

Would like to see everyone at Elland Road on saturday giving Beckford and Schmeichel a good reception. They served us well

Believable23 Unbelievable7

Hope they would come back but that won't happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford sold out for a better career so he can p..s off!!!! got far didnt he, no different than smith who everyone slags off but he was sold and made the club money this tosser did it to make himself rich!!

Agree0 Disagree0

So your saying you would rather welcome smith back to elland road than beckford? Lol good one

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want schmeichel back. he is totally overrated and lonergan is far better. e caused our defense so many communication problems last season that, sure he made some fantastic saves but he became a liability for letting in really simple goals

Agree0 Disagree0

So your saying you'd not quit one job for a better paid one?

Agree0 Disagree0

Clayton, snodgrass, mccormack, bechio and lonergan could all leave and make more money but that doesnt mean we have to be happy about it

Agree0 Disagree0

Ur saying beckford shouldnt be welcomed back to ER cos he left a league 1 side for a top half premiership team, how can someone who scored the goal to get us out of league 1 and beat man united not be given a good welcome?

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds are ready to sign Germany under 21 striker Kevin volland on a season long loan. His current loan spell at 1860 Munich from hoffenheim expires this summer and Warnock is keen to land the 19yo to boost Leeds promotion hopes. (Could be a good signing looking at his goal record)

Believable12 Unbelievable7

Like the look of him - maybe a loan with view to perm if promoted - Should be good with penalties

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it Volland or Voller , both come up in wikki? Voller appears to be rudi's lad

Ipswich boss paul jewell believes Pearce deal to join leeds is agreed as offers from other clubs have been turned down. Great first signing in my eyes. MOT

Believable14 Unbelievable4

Agree0 Disagree0

Go on newsnow and read about ward going to ipswich.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Apr 2012 10:46:45
Jay Rodriges to Leeds on a free at the end of the season? also Lee Bowyer is being released by Ipswitch and the end of the season?

Believable12 Unbelievable16

I'd love it but cannot see it. I think he may go premier league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Me too. would love to see rodriguez here, but expect him to be going to a permier league club like bolton(if they stay up). dont really want bowyer

Agree0 Disagree0

Bowyer would just be another (and admittedly better) michael brown. we need a player who still has experience but has legs as well, so someone around the age of 27-29 rather than 34 or whatever age he is.

Agree0 Disagree0

We do need someone with experience and legs but nothing wrong these days with players 30+ as they are a lot fitter than they used to be. I see a lot of similarities with Wilko's team here and Strachan , Chapman , Shutt , Davison etc were all journeymen but did the job and think thats what we need now then worry about next year next year. Lets bring the kids along as well. Would rather us play the kids today even if we got hammered just to see where they are. Lets face it Beckfords pace is going to be a problem today anyway, man mark him and let him lash out?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodrigues isnt even a free in the summer check your facts first

Owen Hargreaves, 31, will not be offered a new deal by Manchester City at the end of the season. Leeds United will be looking for his signature with a free transfer on the cards when he leaves Manchester City. Other clubs are interested in the England capped midfielder and will be looking to bring his experience and quality to their midfield but Leeds United are faverouites to secure his signature

Source - The Guardian.

Believable13 Unbelievable19

Just read the article in the guardian. Nothing on there about Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure. Hasn't played in ages. Pay as you play only

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldnt mind for this to be true. would rip the championship apart. wages are an issue though

Agree0 Disagree0

I've got a feeling that wages wouldn't be so bad. The guy is aching to play regular and is a pro. Pay as you play would be a good idea but I think a years contract wouldn't be too hard to swallow. Stay fit, play well, get rewarded with a longer contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance Bates will fork out for Hargreaves. His wages will be at least 5 times what he'd be willing to pay

Agree0 Disagree0

Hell of a shop window at Leeds if he only wanted to show case his talents

Agree0 Disagree0

With his track record I can't see him lasting too long in the championship without an injury

Agree0 Disagree0

Well once hes out of contract there may only be championship clubs after him so he would have no choice but to drop his wages or he could find himself getting nothing and sat at home

Agree0 Disagree0

You must be seeing things cause just been on the G and there is nothing on there you must of been sleeping

Agree0 Disagree0

Waste of wages - chances are he would only be fit for 10 games in the season anyway

Bundesliga 2 striker Kevin volland to sign for leeds utd according to a bavarian newspaper report

Believable17 Unbelievable8

Poor post! He is under contract at hoffenheim until 2015 and is their greatest prospect. No chance!

Ive also heard this but only on a season loan.. just have to wait and see

When asked about diouf coming to leeds on talksport,mr warnock answered no comment !! Wtf? #notodiouf

Believable12 Unbelievable6

He said the seem thing when asked if he was takeing the leeds job

Agree0 Disagree0

Why no to diouf?? quality player at any level,he has pace, strength and is a real handful for any defence! i agree he is a bit wild and people dont like him but so is neil warnock and in fact so is leeds united football club! truth is we as a club have a better atmosphere and play a lot better when everyone hates us,it seems to galvanise us,look at 15 point deduction!! thats why i think its good that we have ken bates and neil warnock and possibly el hadj diouf cos everyone hates them and everyone hates us and we LOVE IT!

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard the interview, Warnock wouldnt be drawn kept saying the line was bad when Irani tried to get him to admit interest. Reading between lines we are defo interested in him. Warnock has sed we are too nice and need a bit of nastiness, Dioffe fits the bill, decent player horrible person. cant say I am too happy about him coming to Leeds but if he is the difference between success and failure I will be as fickle as the rest of them I suppose, we have to support and trust Neils judgement

Agree0 Disagree0

We need players like Diouf who can perform at Elland Road and start winning games at home again. To many of this seasons players are not good enough in front of a passionate home crowd. I'd get Bowyer and Diouf in for these reasons!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds looking to bring a loan signing in from man city for next year I believe it is vladimir wiess who is currently on loan in Spain.scouts have been to watch him.

Believable13 Unbelievable13

Watched Weiss play for Rangers all last year
Seriously bettter skill level than we have on the books
can be a little over complicated on teh ball - but has something most of our players dont have - TALENT!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be an insane signing and would tear the championship up, but i dont see it as likely.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have thought loan signings would be the last thing they'd think about taking on. first and foremost, we need a squad. Then we will see what we can add to it when the transfer window shuts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds United's £500,000 signing is a defender from a unnamed relegated Championship side.

Believable13 Unbelievable12

How do you know this? Or is it just a random punt

Agree0 Disagree0

It wont be jason pearce as im sure he would only command a nominal fee with the trouble pompey are in. 500k... thats what was been thrown around for sol bamba or matt mills? so possibly 1 of those 2? what you think ed? {Ed003's Note - Mills would'nt come cheap and I don't rate Bamba to be honest}

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at a small Neil Warnock function last night and while he didn't dsay who it was it was confirmed by others in the room that it IS JASON PEARCE

Agree0 Disagree0

More likely to be 50k knowing how tight bates is with his money

Agree0 Disagree0

I know this i've got inside info as i work in the Press.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ken bates put a 9.5mil buget and put ontop of that 2mil on wages alon that is £12.5million in wages we have one of the biggest teams in the camp it was simon that did not get the players on ken just saying
