Greetings from the southeast fellow whites. My colleague is a ST holder at Brighton and said he saw Mackail-Smith leaving Amex with a few tears in his eyes tonight! judging from other rumours, a possible last game for them today??

craig mackail smith left on the bench for brighton's fa cup clash with arsenal. this is because as radio 5 live said he is subject of much interest from leeds united. I think this will happen as he will be a good replacement for becchio and brighton have signed another striker allowing cms to be available.also st. ettiene reportedly have asked for 2.5 million for gradel with him desperate to come back and they want at least a 500 grand profit on him. also linked with us is someone who hasn't been mentioned before. my uncle works in the sports science department at thorp arch running test on players bodies for medicals and injuries and he told me today that 17 year old left back ibrahima mbaye from inter milan is due in at thorp arch on monday after the spurs game and is going to be in the stands watching the game.

Wow, that rumour takes the biscuit and the biscuit tin! If true though that is amazing if we can pull it off!

from a good source, we offered Chris Wood £25k a week, but he went to Leicester for £30k.
so if becchio knows this then he is entitled to think he is worth £25k a week.
The problem is I think we knew that Leicester would out bid us, but it would look good to be chasing a player who is good at this level, Or he was the one Warnock wanted to replace Becchio.
the point is that if we want 20 goals a season that is the going rate.Warnock from Villa is on £ 40k, for a full back.
So a lot of the rumours on here are either out of our wage band or the Becchio wants too much money storey is bogus.
How much is colin and Jones on.think I would rather have a goalscorer.
By the way a lot of our QPR targets just got destroyed by MK DONS.

Just someone else protecting a player that has put on record that he does not want to play for Leeds United...i do not understand this, I hold no malice against Becchio for wanting to leave but I don't understand why people post on here there support for him with made up stories which just throws dispersions on our football club.

Leeds United have agreed an extension to Sam Byram's contract until June 2016.

The contract is a reward for his contribution in the first team this season.

Sam, whose senior debut came against Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One Cup in August, has made 35 appearances this season and is the only ever present member of Neil Warnock's squad.

Update on my previous rumour regarding medical last week at Thorpe Arch, medical took place but fee yet to be agreed for player, terms already agreed with player and agent.

still no idea who it is but was planned before the Becchio fisaco

Do you not need to agree a fee first then deal with the player?

Fair enough its a rumour site so people make up rumours about players coming to us but why lie about a medical happening with no name attached. Waste of our time and your time. Total clown

No Fees can be agreed later, the club first gives permission to the player to speak to the club, during this time fees are then negociated if they arent agreed.

How do you think players sign and then a tribueral tells them how much to pay.

Course you can have the player checked out before you agree the fee, it could be dependent on that medical!
A fee may have been mooted and if they close the club may suggest to meet the player first.

You agree a fee with the club then start contract talks with the player. once both have been agreed then the player can have a medical. so this rumour is impossible.

Strange, I got 4 online last night and apart from the East Stand upper there where no £20 tickets left, only restricted view tickets in the north and south stands .

Why are we turning on becchio, people soon forget the important goals he's scored for the club, we have no ambition anymore and it's depressing to see . The bloke who's scored 45 goals in 7 season your having a laugh if you think he's going to do a job for us.

Becchio is not worth 20k a week, if he wants to leave let him go. Would be far more worried if Ross wanted out.

And £20k a week in the top flight is cheap some youth players get that.

Good luck to Becchio he has stuck with us through thick and thin for the last 5 years and it"s chance for him to get the last big pay deal for him and family.

20k a year is a bit poor, 20k a week is more than enough!

Becchio is worth every penny of the 20k and more simple as that

No we have not because the club is run by liars and cheats that's how us fans feel that's real fans who pay to watch sick of seeing rubbish in papers and web sites club just want to sell players not bring quality in so stop all the liars about seeing players on motorways medical rooms and white rose they have more chance if signing at Bradford yes that's right
