Finally linked with a CB, Sverrir Ingason (23) , Icelandic playing for Granada, has a £2m release clause which we would probably have to meet. 'Udders sniffing around too.

Sounds good to me. We badly need to strengthen at the back. Assuming the deal goes through, we should reinvest the Taylor money in trying to get a Bartley deal done. If we get both Ingason and Barts in that's a really solid central defence tied up. We especially need cover for the likely scenario where Big Pontus is suspended!

Barts for £7m is a no and he was awesome Probably see a couple of additions around the £2/3m mark instead Pontus was a steal.

Bart would be worth a punt at 3.5. But no more.

Think they would let him leave for £4m with add ons Aus, good deal for both parties at that point.
