Kevin Davies: Bolton captain pulls out of Toronto move and is set to join up with Leeds United on a 12 month deal. Leeds are certainly missing a big man up top, what do you think?

Believable20 Unbelievable112

Half true. He's turned down a move to Toronto. As for the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is 36 years old and not good enough to get a contract at Bolton. Need I say more

Agree3 Disagree0

Can't see it myself. He'll go and get a last payday before retiring.

matt smith from oldham he's tall, has scored against decent teams in cup run and is only 24. might be worth a shot

Agree0 Disagree2

Scratch the above comment, just read he's pulled out. Still don't see him coming our way though.

Agree1 Disagree0

Rather somma in my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad someone else sees the potential in Matt Smith though Newcastle are supposed to be watching him so that would probably rule us out

Agree0 Disagree1

Matt Smith? Are you serious? Based on the fact he scored against Liverpool & Kevin Davies will do nothing to improve us, too old now.

smith as potential someone to play off would be great for mccormack . I would rather throw him on in the last 10 -15 mins than habibou.

This is reported in a National newspaper today:
Everton are ready to fight Manchester City for the £10m capture of Leeds ace Sam Byram.

Believable46 Unbelievable40

Gets reported a lot, that's what papers do, means nowt if we don't wanna sell and sam doesn't wanna go

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think everton have got 10 mill

Agree0 Disagree0

Ten mill! go away come back with twice that and we may then just talk about it mot!

Agree1 Disagree0

If Citeh offer 10 mill, then he'll go end of story. If we are willing to sell our top goalscorer by a long way for 1/4 plus a lame canary then no way will we be able to resist that kind of money.

Agree0 Disagree2

We had to sell Becchio. Warnock didn't understand what he brought to the team. Odd, considering a high work rate and limited talent is usually what Warnock sides are all about.
So very very glad Warnock's gone :))))))))))))))))))))))

Agree0 Disagree0

Ten mill he's crap, sell him

Agree0 Disagree3

Everton are skint!

Agree1 Disagree0

Whoever said he is crap is a moron, if man city offer 10 mill that doesn't mean he will go, if he wants to stay, which he does, and BM wants him, which he does, then he will be a Leeds player next season, which he will. MOT

Great player but if £10m is upfront then it would be good money to have to add to any GFH put in for McDermott to build a team with
Our problems are too widespread and we need to fill a lot of positions. IMO a £10m player is a luxury we can't afford in the Championship

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree 10 Mill is too good to refuse. I'd love him to stay, but Leeds United is priority and 10 Mill up front would buy some seriously needed new additions

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton don't have the kind of cash to fight man city or even to match that valuation so I wudent read too much into this just remember everton had to sell their top scorer not that long ago to fund jelavic I don't think they're in the position to have that kind of luxury either

Agree0 Disagree0

All Prem teams will be much better funded to the tune of around 110 million more than his year. The new media deals kick in. That's why there's been a real scramble for the Prem, this season. Certainly more so than usual. Everton will have plenty of cash to fight it out for 10 mill players

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton fan we don't need him we got stones and coleman onlh 24

jamaica and motherwell winger chris humphrey is ecpected to come to elland road in the summer when his contract runs out with the scottish club

Believable76 Unbelievable21

Positive sign to see BMD looking into attacking recruits this early. I'm excited for the new season with or without GFH backing. MOT.

Agree2 Disagree1

This guy is faster than bolt even with a ball at his feet mot

Agree2 Disagree0

Motherwell fans not over impressed with him, can't see him being the answer on the wing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone know if this guy is actually any good?

with EL Hadj Diouf out of favour with Brian Mcdermot Leeds are preparing a bid to bring back Max Gradel with El Hadj going the other way

Believable13 Unbelievable125

25 Apr 2013 09:43:12
He is not out of favour though, and don't think he is good enough to go other way, to fill gradels boots mot ls6

Agree0 Disagree0

Who said he was out of favour? We won't get Gradel back, he's far FAR to good for this league and will want European football next season, if he's not still injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

You clearly don't read reports. BMD has said that he wants to use him behind RM as part of our forward line!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wondered how long it would take til the gradel bandwagon started rolling in2 town, get a grip!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2013 15:37:03
Gradel currently has a serious knee injury which has ended his season. I doubt we are negotiating his return.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckfords run the course, now its gradel, soon be howson and becchio, people have no imagination

Agree0 Disagree0

I can say honestly that the only player I would take back that is still playing now is snodgrass, even gradel crying like a big girl he was homesick, doesn't wash. i'm afraid he burned his bridges, (ahh bridges now there's a striker).
