blackburn are to break the bank to get grayson! i hope not,but money seems to talk?

Believable12 Unbelievable37

If they seriously can break a bank (like a few hundred million?) I'm sure even SG would be happy to go, but it's not going to happen, unless we are talking monopoly money here....

Why waste time with this rubbish?????

Agree0 Disagree0

Why break the bank I'd let him go for free, never get into premiership whilst hes ouir manager not good enough !!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Grayson not good enough!! Shut up mate he took us us from a struggling league 1 team to the championship and the brink of the premier league so i dont know what ur on about

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree not good enough if he were we would have gone up like Norwich last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Grayson overall has done a great job at Leeds but unfortunately I think he has taken us as far as he can for the simple facts signing a goalkeeper like Rachubka what a shocking goalkeeper and insisting on finding the worst centre halves he can find - O'Brien finished about 5 years ago, Bruce terrible player, Bromby slow sluggish and no positional awareness and as for O'Dea 2 goals recently doesn't hide the fact that he's slow clumsly and a complete thug who can't defend to save his life. If Grayson sorted out our defence we'd be in with serious chance of automatic promotion this year. Either fix it or sadly time to go but a huge thanks for how far he has taken us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well there gose fergie at mn utd sack him get real takes time to get it right we got a good mangerin sf

Agree0 Disagree0

Blackburn to break the bank to get Grayson?

a) They don't have money in the bank. Unless they're planning to rob one.

b) Buying out Grayson's contract won't require such sum.

c) There's quite a few managers without a job out there with a better CV, or at least with BPL experience.

d) Go home.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of us leeds fans are a joke... grayson has been fantastic ... he has taken us from league 1 to now 5th in the championship.. level on points with west ham who have got all these premeier league players? dont think some of you so called leeds fans would be happy with grayson if we were sat on top of the championship!! ok we have are defensive problems but look where we are in the league.. as for the keeper rachubka.. he doesnt look the best but on the other hand he signed who i beleive is one of the best keepers in the championship lonergan.. give the man some credit and get behind us!

Agree0 Disagree0

I respect Grayson for what he has done at ER but I think a change would be good - he will only be measured on his championship performances and not league 1, and i don't think he can cross the line with Leeds - just keep an eye on Forrest who were bottom before Cotterill came in - that's the difference

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm...

Grayson was already at an advantage to you guys by already being in the football business...But if you know better about the players he sees and works with day in and day out, then why don't you quit your jobs shelf-stacking at the local Asda and forge yourself a career in football management??

And no, I don't mean a couple of hours on a simulation game either. Put your money where your mouth is, get yourself coaching at Football League level and let us all know how it goes

Until I can do that, I won't bother commenting...If Fergie/Mourinho/Revie/Busby/Shankly/ can get it wrong, then I'm sure as hell that Simon Grayson is likely to aswell!

We are fifth, after a very dodgy and shaky start. Take it for what it is and help the rest of us inspire the whole team (LUFC as a whole, right down to the tea lady!) onwards and upwards and back to the PRemiership!!

Agree0 Disagree0

How can u slag off his signing are you forgetting the likes of gradel an becchio and snodgrass, and if those players are so sh*t how come in we got promoted and then finshed in 7 place in our first season back. and everyone was moaning pre-season about having no money well we aint looking too bad at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the 2 post above some of you leeds fans are complete idiots i mean where are you expecting to be this time of the season 10 points clear grayson is a class young manager who's obviously still learning i think he's fantastic!
Do you ppl! you seem to forget when the leeds (league 1) team that went to old traffold and won! ill never forget that for the rest of my life get real folks he's a great manager imagine how well he can do with a few pound to spend! get behind the team or go support man city for yourselves! irish leeds fan 20 years!

Agree0 Disagree0

All this bitching about Grayson seems to ignore the fact, that despite a dodgy first few games we haven't lost in the league in 8 games, and that if we win our game in hand we will rise to 2nd in the league.
So let me get this right, Grayson's not good enough to get us an automatic promotion place, yet we are on course for an Automatic promotion place? Your logic does not figure.

Agree0 Disagree0

To 3rd from bottom Gary Mac signed Luciano and Snoddy, but any1 who thinks its time Grayson to go is a complete moron, do you expect us to win EVERY game by 10 goals and keep a clean sheet? get real, its a tough division to get out of, if we dont have the resources like Norwich did (to the poster of that load of b/s), hes done a cracking job with what hes got, i hope he makes you non-believers eat your words, have faith or support another club

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of these comments are so stupid it's sad but some of our fans are turning into Man U fans the way they can't face the truth thinking that our manager and our players are the greatest in the world if they were I don't think we'd be in the championship. Don't get me wrong as I've already stated Grayson has done a great job but I still think either fix the defence and goalkeeping situation or is time to walk. Whovever said Lonergan was one of the best keepers in the Championship must be high conceded over 70 goals last season and is on course for that this season already conceding over 20 goals. And to complete dope on about Asda [obviously looking for a job there himself] your comments mean you can never under any circumstances criticise any player, manager, club official, linesman or referee by your logic since you are none of the above [because your a bag boy at Asda]. We need to be honest about things everyone saying what a great start we're having you'll find Brighton had a great start 4 or 5 points clear at one stage now in 12th position, why? because they had a very easy start and so have Leeds yet we still lost to Southampton [only promoted], Middlesbrough at home, Ipswich away and drawn with Brighton [only promoted] and Coventry. The only teams we've beaten are all poor teams who if we want automatic promotion should be easily beating these sides. The only great result this season was the draw away to West Ham. I'm not being negative at all I'm voicing my opinion with simple facts which are completely true.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will never be a BIG club again, why cant any of you lot see this!! no money,no desire no manager(soon) all take your flippin tinted glasses off and stop kidding yourselfs? muppets

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's face it, this site seems to have every whinger that follow the mighty whites. Total negativity, there should be a couple of dozen seats reserved for these people, and we should call it quarantine, with conditions attached, they can't come out till they stop their mindless, rambling whinging.
COME ON LEEDS UNITED, COME ON LARRY. Keep up the good, neigh excellent work. Jay

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever posted the stuff about Lonergan's 70 goals last season clearly doesn't go to the games or if he does he's one of those tossers who gets so pissed before and during the game that he can't see what's going on. He's the best keeper I've seen in this division and I dread to think how many Preston would have conceded without him.

And as for the anti-Larry brigade - not naming any names are you. Who would come to Leeds - unfashionable club, no cash - who is better than Grayson? I haven't seen one realistic suggestion on this site of a better manager. No Ancelotti is not interested and every Portsmouth fan will tell you that Cotterill is poor - two wins at th beginning is not unusual for any manager. Grayson has a better CV than anyone likely to be interested. He's made mistakes - don't we all - but his record is outstanding for a manager 6 years into a career. Look how long it took Fergie to win stuff at Scum - not a happy comparison but the point is valid. You don't get anywhere by dumping managers who are doing well.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with 6th post down that starts, grayson overall has done a great job,,,, your cock on mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Lonergan is superb that's why he spent his whole career with P.N.E in the second and third tier of football playing over 200 times with a shockingly poor record of clean sheets. Nowhere near good enough to play for Leeds if you knew anything at all about football but your one of the dopes who thinks everyone is brilliant and we should all lie and say they're all brilliant. Grow a pair of balls and stop pretending to be a Leeds fan by defending everyone just the tell the truth plain and simple.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can i just say to some of the idiots on here, do your homework befor slagging someone off... grayson got blackpool promoted, leeds promoted, and JUST MISSED OUT on a THIRD promotion in 5 seasons last year... he now has leeds in the playoffs, 6 POINTS OFF TOP OF THE TABLE, all after losing some of his big name players ie backford, scmiechel, johnson, killkenny... and getting leeds where they are with what he has got! that is called getting the best out of what you have, ie GOOD MANAGEMENT!! I agree leeds are one of the biggest clubs in the country and have been missed by the premier league, but seriously grayson is one of the best young english managers around, big mistake to let him go.....
