My cousins hamster is in the same Syncronised swimming team as Bates and Billy Davies, and he informed me that Bates is going to sack Grayson and use billy davies as a player manager. Also all the delph money and the gradel money will be pooled to sign Heskey and Torres. Heskey will be up front and Torres at cb to ensure we don't score any own goals. Things are looking up!

SG (old family friend)has told me that the club are looking to bring in Matt Killgallon on a loan until jan followed by permanent move as per Pugh. He is keen to come- good deal in my opinion. A talented defender with something to prove. It hasn't worked out at Sheff utd or Sunderland.

Believable13 Unbelievable9

Im sure that he had a chance to come to Leeds last season and turned us down as he thought it would be a bad move to return to an old club. Just a thought to why I think this wont materialise. I hope im wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

If true, would be a good move and I'd welcome him back. He'd certainly have a point to prove and is the kind of quality we desperately need in defence right now

Agree0 Disagree0

Kb my dads best school friend was saying other day we never talk about our transfer targets until done (he just popped in for coffee on his way to monaco)

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not true, its not even a legitimate rumour. It is 100% made up. I thought this type of s**te would stop now the school holidays are over, obviously a few truants on here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah ken bates (old family friend) told me over a quiet lunch where we were celebrating my uncle bob's birthday (ken bates best friend forever) that that bloke on transfer rumours.com who was on about signing killgallon was talking out of his Ron "Chopper" Harris

Just heared whisper that snodgrass is to be made CAPTAIN at Leeds now im not a Leeds fan but watched the game against man u and he was the last peson I would have put for the arm band but then again it worked for your last player who wasn't full committed one mr beckford

Believable2 Unbelievable20

Thanks for that, of course non Leeds fans get this sort of info before we do. go back to your hole.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe he will captain the reserves because thats where he should be with current form and attitude

Agree0 Disagree0

You mis-heard mate - Snoddy is going to be the new Captain of the Titanic! That went down just like his form.

Leeds are looking at bringing in Liverpool's Jack Robinson and Grayson will bring in another old player in Sunderland's Matt Kilgallon, Robinson will be a loan deal to January when we will look to sign a permanent left back and Kilgallon will be similar deal to Danny Pugh's

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Wouldn't object to Kilgallon actually. say what you like, he had pace for a centreback.

Why would we go defensive when we are losing 3-0. I would rather we lose 10-0 and put up a challenge

Believable9 Unbelievable8

How exactly is losing 10-0 putting up a challenge? there are some numpties in the world

Agree0 Disagree0

I mean to say we are losing 3-0 and going defensive by taking off striker for striker... person Dumpty?

Agree0 Disagree0

We were never gonna come back from that so was wise just to take players off and conserve energy for the league match tonight. Would have been great to beat the scum but who actually gives a friar tuck about the Carling Cup?

Right Pugh here, personally don't have an opinion on him neither good or bad, but wheres the defenders we need? Ed any rumours on any? {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard any rumours regarding a defender, sorry.}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Pugh will play lb... We havent signed him to play in midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

That SG :) how do you know where he will play!

both parnaby and mcfadden are still unattached, i know mcfaddens wages could be a stumbling block but not if we sell snoddy. mcfadden is a much more experienced and less lazy player with better tricks!

Believable5 Unbelievable6

McFadden is traing with wolves so he ain't available

Agree0 Disagree0

McFadden is training with Wolves so I'm guessing he'll be going there... if anywhere!! {Ed025's Note - thats good....i heard he was coming back to everton....phew!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

When was the last time Parnaby played? full time reserve like the keeper Stuart Taylor.

happy with the pugh signing! where do people think he will play?

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Left midfield good player but look at his goals to game ratio is he really gradels replacement will he get you them 19 goals a season don't think so

Agree0 Disagree0

Left midfield. he is a much improved player from when he left us.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will strenghen the squd but not the defence. Where is our new back four? Dont tell me we have run out of money again!

Agree0 Disagree0

On the bench if he follows the rest of the castoffs

Agree0 Disagree0

Given we have just signed a Finnish mid fielder and we have Howson Clayton Snodgrass etc and Aidy white is a left mid fielder for the future I would guess we would play Pugh at left back. Mccormack's best/ most useful position is also up for debate with Becchio and Forsell around.

Agree0 Disagree0

Solid signing, can play a variety of different positions, typical Simon Grayson signing.

For those saying he is no replacement for Gradel, the fact is that Gradel is a one-off player who we got away with paying our bargain basement wages to for a short while. To bring in a player of that calibre, we'd be looking at spending the best part of £20k/week which is around double our wage cap.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would play he left back good in either position and then we can use whites pace and ability to run with thr ball in left midfield, where he had been playing at international level.

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesnt need to score 20 goals a season, we just need to stop leaking goals which forces us to score more to win. If we tighten the defence it wouldnt matter if we won every game 1-0

Agree0 Disagree0

Pugh left back and white left mid means we can have to player with a defensive and attacking mind, white will be anle to track seen ask he played left back so far..

Agree0 Disagree0

Give the guy a chance.. I liked him when he was here first time... I think he will play LB and play Aidy White on wing.. We need pace up there which is something we have been lacking

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe all these positive comments about Pugh, I hope he proves me wrong but this is an awful signing. He is not a better player than he was and I live near Stoke and they are having a right laugh about it, he didn't make there 25 man squad which tells you all you need to know.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pugh is a better player than he used to be and he will play at left back and White will play left midfield, simples *squeak*

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person that said 'he didn't make stokes 25 man team, tells you something.. Last time i checked they was a premier league team oh yeah and were in the championship :s give the guy a chance he's solid on his game

Agree0 Disagree0

What does it matter if Stoke are in the Premiership, fact is he is not considered good enough for them and is he better than what we already have, no he isn't. Why do you think he has improved? Stoke have hardly used him since they went up and their fans don't rate him at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Danny Pugh will play anywhere Simon Grayson asks him too, but I suspect most of his games will be at Elland Road :-) {Ed045's Note - I think half.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

This is just another weak cast off that no one else wants for me but then again what can you do with no money!!,i am glad though that bates yacht in monaco is being maintained well and his life is being kept to the luxury he deserves!!

Agree0 Disagree0

To whomever posted about Stoke not thinking Danny Pugh was good enough .........

Leicester didn't think Gradel was good enough, going back further MU didn't think Strachan good enough & even further back if you can remember (yes I'm old lol) John Giles

That's just in our history plenty of sides let players go ......if they didn't they'd be no transfers just growth from within.

In the right team players can gel & make previous employers regret letting them go.

Welcome back Danny let's see you in the prem soon ,,,,,WITH US

Leeds United have signed Stoke City utility man Danny Pugh on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
The 28-year-old returns to the club after a five-year spell that took in Preston North End and Premier League Stoke.
Danny, who was the club's first signing following our relegation from the Premier League in 2004, made 57 appearances for Leeds between 2004 and 2006, scoring six goals.
Danny was a regular during his first season, but found appearances restricted in 2005/06 and he moved to Preston that summer before joining Stoke two years later, who he helped reach the Premier League.
Danny, who has made 213 career appearances, can play anywhere on the left side of the park and has also played in central midfield.
"We're delighted to bring Danny to the football club," said United boss Simon Grayson.
"He is a versatile player and he is an experienced player, who has played in both the Premier League and the Europa League with Stoke.
"He also knows the Championship well and he knows this club very well. Two or three other clubs were in for him, but he jumped at the chance to come here.
"This was a deal we almost did on deadline day with some of the money that is available, but Tony wanted to keep him at Stoke a while longer, so we've brought him in on loan in the first instance and will make it permanent in January."
