Y press not true
Its in the current bun for pete's sake
In other news glad that pilloc got banned and jailed wot a banker gladly say it to his face to!

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldnt get too excited he was at Garforth but couldnt get in their team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he's super strong, but don't think he will stick at this level...:-P

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true this is just what we need - the perfect antidote to the shambles that was Friday night. There's not a huge amount about him on their website but I am very optimistic!

Agree0 Disagree0

"Y press not true
Its in the current bun for pete's sake"...and of course they are a beacon of truth!? Although I can't believe even they would make that one up

Agree0 Disagree1

This guy will stick to you like glue if marking you, trust me.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's good on paper!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ermmmmmmm such a good players sticks to ypu like glue just like frikley stuck to botton of the league yes the evo stick league

Mr. Cawley has received a 16 week
prison sentence and a 5 year
banning order. Come on Leeds work
with this to reinforce what will
happen if other so-called 'fans' go
down the same route.

Believable58 Unbelievable12

Leeds united are banning him for life! On o.s!

Agree1 Disagree0

Should have been 4 years, once again our court's handing out pathetic sentences

Agree0 Disagree0

16 weeks prison sentence? not enough. 5 year banning order ?joke. it should be life we dont need like this associated at our club

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually I quite like the judge - his brief said that he was so drunk he didn't know what he was doing and would she like to look at the video (pleading mitigating circumstances). She interrupted and said no absolutely not. The banning order needs to be adhered to. Not sure how - it's like the RSPCA prohibiting people from
keeping animals. How do they know?

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst I DO NOT condone this moron's behaviour, I think 4 years would be a bit harsh for a shove. People get less for manslaughter so let's keep it real.

Agree0 Disagree0

Reinforced by a lifetime leeds united ban, sorted.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pathetic sentencing 4 months - the guy who tried to stop the oxford v cambridge boatrace got 6 months.
this guy should have got 12 months minimum. lufc have banned him but he was banned already - lufc 7 other clubs cannot prevent these people getting tickets - how do you police this sort of ban - its impossible!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Glad to see club ban him for life - dont need people like that drag our great club's name through the mud!

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally Agree. One less d*ck head in the stands at our end. They are not fans....... just persons.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right it should've been more however if the courts had handed a lengthier sentence he would've appealed and had this reduced massively on the grounds of harshness compared to other assaults and the immense publicity this incident has generated, also the courts hands are tied as to the length of sentence thats why it was swift justice and not dragged on through bail or remand time.

foxrat

Agree0 Disagree0

Llera should get 6 month then?

JP

Agree1 Disagree0

The reality of a 16 week sentence, actually means he will serve 8 weeks. Any sentence under 4 yrs automatically get 50 percent off in remmision. magistrates can sentence to a maximum of 6 mnths. the case should have been refered to crown court for sentencing, this would say to the crown court judge we has magistrates feel the severity of the crime deserves more than our maximum. for ref (over 4 yrs get one third off, good old british justice) M.O.T

Agree0 Disagree0

Should have got 6 months for common assault. Let's hope he is shunned -and shopped- by all fans should he ever rear his head again. And how about a mass chant tomorrow evening to show our collective disdain for this guy, and the harm he's done our club's image. Doesn't require much imagination to think of an appropriate song -" Aaron Cawley is a ******, is a ****** etc." (OR " If you all hate A.C., clap your hands...") Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

He would have got a bigger sentence if he hadnt paid his council tax

Agree0 Disagree0

How can 5 people disagree with the outcome of this pathetic act or the original comment. Are they his mates? JD

Agree0 Disagree0

Eric Cantona got nine month ban?

Agree0 Disagree0

Barton got six months for a similar thing but at least he was on a night out and most likely provoked this was a sly little boy who should have to serve at least 12 months

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets not get carried away. He is an person and should be banned from football to set an example that what he did was unexceptable.
I believe 16 weeks is actually a long time. It was a very minor assault actioned with no prior planning. The victim was not seriously hurt. If I did that to someone on a sunday league pitch, the police probably wouldn't be involved. And if they were I would just get a warning. Maybe a few hours in a cell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt even have the balls to own up to having only had a sniff of the barmaids apron either. He couldnt remember doing it but he remembered how many drinks he had?

When you think there are lads from West Yorkshire out in Afghanistan who support Leeds and then there is this pathetic liar and coward.

Fawksey {Ed013's Note - Great post}

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to know how an unemployed labourer travelling from Cheltenham can afford to go to every game let alone afford all the booze he was said to have drunk.

After his sentance he should be chained to a lamp post in the centre of Leeds so very decend fan passing by can P*** on him.
