January should be a very exciting month for Leeds fans. Who will be the marquee signing or signings? Who will be our first million pound purchase for like 8 years??

Keep grounded mate. We don't know how rich GFH are yet.

I dont care if we get 8 players who are bosmans or loans as long as they wear the shirt with pride and give 110% every game. Let snot forget that money does not buy results, but hardwork does, we don't want to be left with a lazy big head who likes picking up his weekly cheque while being poor on the pitch.
I think Warnock will spend wisely though!

Its not a Royal either he/they are member(s) of the Government over there.

We don't need million pound players, just players who want to play for us. Just because a player costs millions doesn't mean they are going to be good. Brolin and Sharpe spring to mind

I'd like to see Mackail-Smith, Boyd and possibly some experienced Premiership players looking for a late challenge - as with Strachan and Fairclough. Bellamy, Harte and Kevin Davies have all done will in the division.

So is it gfh back by the bahraini king? hope so! these players will get us by till jan then get some more qualiity covering all area's and really push for the playoffs!

Hmmmm. Lets not get carried away; Portsmouth, Birmingham, Blackburn.. The list of bad foreign takeovers is far longer than the list of good ones.

I don't think its about the mass amounts of money its about spending it wisely. Warnock has tended to spend well in the past without going mental.

I think maybe 6 quality yet shrewd signings maximum £5m spent in January.
Last think I want is them to spend loads then sod off like some foreign owners.

I think the money available will be evaluated depending on our position and chances come January. There's no point spending big and paying wages when we have little to no chance of making the play-offs. Hopefull this wont be the case and I assume we would be looking at signing Diouf and Tonge. Depending on how the new guys work out they may also stay. On top I would expect maybe 2 other purchases but with more substantial fees than we have become a custom.

Also I believe Bahrain royals are also the government. As each prince seams to be a department head. Not sure if any are related to this deal but as long whomever it is has plenty of cash I'm ok with it.

I know at last we can look forward to team strengthening,and not on the cheap.

If a Bahrain billionair has taken over the club why would he hide behind a relatively small finance company,people should calm down and get a grip,this is good news yes, but this is not an Abramovich type take over.

Charlie Austin and Zaha would be the dream marquee signings,but both prob heading straight to Prem. Mackail-Smith and Boyd both realistic. Don't want too many more oldies. Talented players with plenty of match-hardened experience, but who are still on the way up are the best (like Pearce). Howson wasn't good enough to get us out of this division when he was here before, what makes you think he'd be good enough now? He's not exactly set the world alight at Norwhich either

For me Mackael-Smith is exactly the type of player we need...Quick, doesn't give defenders a rest and works hard. Would be good if we could get Tate and Thomas permanent.Also need 2 more full backs, Peltier is awful and White isn't much better. MOT

Jerome thomas signs till jan, along with alan tate ! glad about Tate great defender did well at swans club captain too and looking at some footage of jerome he is quick and direct just what becchio needs !

Just got a text say we signed kenwyne jones aswell! is this true?

Both good loan signings should help us to start getting some positive results

Why do people press the unbelievable button when something is quite clearly a fact.
Unless they think there is an Australian player out there called Os Mot and Jerome Thomas has not signed him, so in their head they are correct.

Swansea have confirmed that Alan Tate has joined Championship side Leeds on loan until January 1, subject to international clearance.

This is the guy who slated Leeds over the attempt to get back the 15 point penalty. Happy to give him a chance to prove himself but you have to wonder how committed he will be.

Noted on YEP: 30yr old 6ft 1in Central Defender. This position was NW priority with Pearce suspended. At least its better than getting a midfielder to play out of position in this role. Not that we have enough bods in the team to even contemplate playing anyone out of position.

Solid player who has sound leadership qualities.

Ive heard jerome, Tate and Mcgugan are all signing on loan with view to permanant in January. Dont know how reliable these rumours are but all 3 would be great signings and not on high wages either.

i know someone who works for the club and i can assure you that oriel romeu from chelsea is going to sign on a loan deal until the end of the season. Believe it or not but it is hapening today.

Lol that wnt ever happen. for 1 hes not very good now, yes he will b in 1 or 2 years but as its only a loan we need players for now n he aint it. n for 2 he would b mad to drop down when teams like malaga want him

Alan Tate is definitely one of them.

I was having a rubbish in the elland road toilets when Neil warnock come in and told me that we were signing two players today. At least I think it was Neil warnock because for some reason the lights weren't working.

Apparently Neil Warnock has said it's too late to get anyone in so will have to wait for signing's & loan signing's in January now.....gutted! We need some new faces to freshen things up & push for the play-offs!

I was cleaning warnocks office when he walked in n said wahaay the takeover is complete to which i replied who you buying n warnock said " ting tong makka dang dang" to which i replied who is that n warnock replied its a good player who gives us that little bit extra lmao
