The rumours about Ben parker are correct,because after his outburst he stuck around to mingle with the crowd,my m8 was stood near the bar and managed to overhear him speaking to friends his m8 said what have you done and ben replied "i couldn't stand by and let them lay all the blame on johnnys doorstep these people have a right to know what's happening" also said he knows he had prob played last game for club.when my m8 asked him in passing if anyone else was leaving his reply was what do you think this is true,I tend to believe ben not one of bates puppets lorimer you should be ashamed with yourself.

Lorimer's face told it all ! V uneasy and was twitching when Parker spoke, Bates just using club to milk as much money out of it as possible, Howson not 1st forced out Kasper said same last year too. Leeds should never be a feeder club to likes of Norwich, Wigan , Bolton etc as they will never be as big in a million years. Problem is he knows that we will turn out week after week lining his pockets, fans need to vote with their wallets as this is all he undrrstands & Lorimer should be ashamed cowtailing to the slimeball, but then some people just see a free lunch and he obviuosly falls into that catergory

Just a question if no one is willing or has e en shown proper interest to buy the club how the he'll can we get rid of him. Whatever tales people make up about comments in bars, the basic fact is that Howson has had a year to sign a new contract but has failed to do so.if he wanted to play for the club he would have found a way to do so. We get up to 2 million for an average player. Parker is not good enough to play for Leeds anyhow, and is going on loan.

Snodgrass won't go anywhere. If he goes, Grayson will go. Bates won't find another yes man like Grayson. Hell soon sell up then

I know the Parker family and I think Ben has had enough. He's going on loan to Carlisle tomorrow and that will probbaly be him finished at Leeds. What he said yesterday was from the heart and whether he deserves a shirt or not he is a Leeds fan and Jonny is his best mate, but two Leeds through and through lads have had enough.

Does everyone on this site have no financial sense? Ok I don't like bates and Grayson needs a kick up the a**e but getting 2 million for a player who won't sign a new contract and can leave for free in 6 months. Howson won't win us promotion and so many people on here slating him all season so what's the problem? Everyone too eager to get on the bandwagon, like sheep!!

Ed,geart site question? are leeds fans the most negetive in england as a leeds fan i have come to expect anything that comes out of elland rd do u think fans are over expectant of the current team and managment given the financial restrictions on them caused by the mistakes of the past personally i feel sorry for grayson he has been kicked by every one frm bates to the fans and his personal life has been affected by the pressures of trying to keep everyone happy even though we were poor yesterday we won regardless of the circumstances there is character in this team grayson and snodin have instilled that at least im not a fan of bates by the way i do hope things change for the better i hope the fans get behind grayson and the lads they werent the cause of the financial situation {Ed013's Note - There is definitely a lot of negativity but that comes with the size of the club. Yes, I think Ben Parker is biting the hands that have looked after him. Howson's wife has just had a baby and he will not want to be renting a property in Norwich, particularly in view of the fact he is injured. Well tough, he should have signed the contract that was offered.

These comments are all well & good but nobody really knows what has been said and what the real motives are. How do we know Howson has gone for £2m? Even Grayson suggested it was less than that and although people say Howson has had a year to sign a deal, which may be true how do we know what was offered. There is a very good letter from a season ticket holder regarding the club that people should and another on the scraching shed about how the £11.5 we have spent this year really breaks down and how it compares to those clubs around us. So if Howson goes then he goes and hopefully we will be competing for promotion with whoever we bring in and all will be good until we look at the squad to stay in Premiership! MOT

Its rumoured by some Leeds fans (kids or ones with short memories) that Howson and Parker are greater than Lorimer. One person even called him a failed landlord.

I blame the parents (probably Man Utd fans)

When Beckford was in the same situation, Grayson refused to sell him and instead chose to let his contract run out because he believed that we needed him for our promtoion. He was right, as proved by every single goal Beckford scored from Jan til May - especially against Bristol.

Grayson clearly doesn't see that Howson adds the same value to the team and has instead chosen to take the money. Whether he's right or not remains to be seen, but at least until the end of the season, let's give him support and see what he can do.

If he's right, noone will be complaining in 5 months time. If he's wrong, then maybe he'll be sacked, or whatever. Ultimately, we can't make Howson stay, so in my mind, always take the money.

Only time will tell whether its a good move and until that last day of the season, we canonly speculate as to what its effects and consequences will be.

Good news maybe for everyone wanting rid of bates. The rumour is wealthy Americans on the horizon taking a serious look at Lufc. Hope there is some mileage in this. About time. Anyone else heard about this ? {Ed020's Note - where have you heard this from? anything i've heard has been the opposite side of the world in aussie!!}

Nobody from America looking at Leeds there is an australasian consortium looking,but this is a long way of and they have shown no real proof of funds

This could be the reason bates is stalling on buying players?

If that was the case wouldn't this be splashed all over the press like it usually is when a potential new owner is eyeing up a club. Were stuck with him mate.

Coch industries, worth billions, seriously looking at Lufc

The Koch family who own Koch industries are worth around 50 billion. If this guy is serious which i doubt would make us the richest club on earth above QPR then man city.

If bates brought better quality players in then surely we would look a more attractive proposal than with our wafer thin 'team' (in the loosest sense of the word) full of unproven kids and past it prem castoffs oh yeah and half a 'team' on loan!

As much as we all want Bates out and the club sorting from top to bottom, realistically it wont happen. No-one in their right minds will deal with Bates, he is a truly horrible man. We are stuck with him for the foreseeable future.

I heard that there was a guy in Australia looking at Leeds, but that was over a year ago, so that looks like its going nowhere. I haven't heard anything about anyone interested in buying Leeds since.

The Snoddy contract impasse rumours are true I think. Duncan Castles and Andrew Haigh both tweeting that Snodgrass unhappy with A) Howson and potential other sales B) The contract offer made to him C) Not getting the captaincy.

Apparently Castles knows the Agent. He seems well connected. Our star player now unhappy. It certainly seems like an unhappy camp. We dont seem to be able to make an acceptable contract offer to ANY players. Just lose them all. Sad times.

We only have 1 player that hasnt got an 18 month or more contract,and it aint snoody.im on t**tter and i can say im unhappy.

Why would snoddy be leaving when the other day after howson had gone he said im not going nowhere and i want to get leeds promoted!

Ben parker said snoddy was desperate to sign a new contract on saturday as was aidy white. if he was unhappy why would he be that desperate to sign a new contract?

Grayson said that Leeds haven't even entered contract discussions with Snodgrass since the summer, so how could they have broken down?
