I went to the Ipswich game and was very disappointed with a lot of the fans attitudes.

Its a poor fan who puts their petty hatred of someone they dont even know above the support of their team.

What kind of message are they trying to send to the players? {Ed013's Note - That's what I try and educate mate, but you know what they say about pork!}

Theres a pretty well known structure for keeping a club financially viable. You have a pay structure. It doesnt work if you throw more money at players everytime they think theyre worth it. Howson like a lot of injured players take the money gratefully from the club and then repay you by leaving.

My first Leeds game was a 1-1 draw at St James's Park in 1969 and I saw Bremner holding the Fairs Cup after the game with Juventus. My brother was on the pitch in the infamous game against WBA. I love that club. I know its not fashionable but I think Bates is doing a good job. For £10k - £15k a week they should be able to give everything for that shirt. If they cant or wont then ship them out and move on.

Original post is spot on, some people live in lala land, been lots of other buyers with all there cash! not! only way bates will go is if we get promoted, teams like reading are being sold to a billionaire, wonder why he's not buying leeds..would you want the hassle, i know i wouldnt having all that grief. not sure why people think there is loads and loads of money in football, big clubs lose money in there millions and in man city,s case i think its 1.2 billion now. we will be back in the big time but we have to do it in the right manner, no doubt i will be slagged off but i have been a fan for 35 years, played in the reserves myself and love leeds more than life itself but i wouldnt want to play if all that was happening was booing the managaer or chairman every week, even blackburn only do it after the game no during!! {Ed013's Note - I am a firm believer of supporting the team on the pitch through thick and thin. I have arguments with people in the Kop every week and the majority of them don't know why they do it! Write letters, protest out of the ground , at half time, any other time except when the players are on the pitch. Remember - MOT}

Been a fan since Moses were a lad followed them since before Revie got us in to first division, was transfixed when Eddie "danced" seen them through all our "up's & down's"

Due to working abroard didn't get to as many games as I would have liked but been a season ticket holder in the Kop since we went to the third tier as I could now get to games & wanted to support MY team fully.

Hate the inane negative chanting so come on fellow supporters of THE team join me as I start .........

Fact really? Why would we need yet another winger? Fact

The same David Bentley that was on loan at West Ham and in October 2011, he got ruled out for 6 months so he returned to Tottenham?

Cos he would replace snoddy who will be gone by end of jan along with aidy white, sad but true

Ben Parker and Peter Lorimer were in The Pavillion prior to the Leeds game today and a lot of rumours/gossip surfaced. Apparently JH is been forced out. I don't know if Parker is telling the truth or not but to me he seems to be sticking up for a mate?

Lorimers not defending Bates hes defending the club. Even if Bates is wrong, if everyone at the club starts fighting each other, how are we ever going to achieve anything?

Lorimer gets well paid by Bates to be his mouthpiece so he his bound to defend BATES or lose a very lucrative salary

This is completely true what parker said, I'm friends with jonnys wifes sister and she says that jonny doesn't want to leave but bates has offered no improved contract and has already decided he wants the transfer money he has forced jonnys hand in this. But the deals already virtually done jonny was down watching the norwich game and knows he has to go to them he has no other choice

Of coarse he has been forced out. he would not sign a new contract

Robert Snodgrass has terminated negotiations with Leeds United over extending a contract due to expire in 18 months time. The club's key creative force as they pursue promotion to the Premier League, Snodgrass has been disappointed by terms that failed to offer him parity with Leeds' best-paid players.

The 24-year-old also feels he has been let down on promises that the club would strengthen its playing squad to aid the attempt to reach the Premier League. Last week, Leeds agreed the sale of club captain Jonny Howson to Norwich City for £750,000 plus variables. Obviously not a Leeds fan just stiring up stuff. SG stated why Howson leaving was only option and also said no other key players will go.

CJ I hope you're wrong. I think Snoddy is our best player don't you? I hope he comes over as playing well on the tv on sat night because you obviously don't go to games to be posting on here at 4pm on a Sat. I thought you were the man in the know but obviously just a crank!

It's true, if you believe what you read. I don't know anything about 'The National', but this story has a sinister ring of truth. I have every sympathy with Snodgrass. He busts a gut for Leeds (literally - almost!) and has been our most creative and dangerous element for some time. The club should be bending over backwards to include him among our most highly-paid players. You have to make really talented people feel that they're recognised. I will be devastated if we allow him to leave.

Face it gents we are no longer big time and Snodgrass will move on for better package elsewhere. Wake up and smell the coffee, no professional is loyal anymore in football, they are in it for the money and lets face wouldn't you move if another employer offered you a 200% pay rise, because thats why we work. Footballers are no different !

Seems strange it's only been reported in a middle eastern newspaper. Also, seems strange that he is suddenly bothered about the captaincy now, despite missing out to howson, o'brien and kisnorbo over the last year.
Don't think it's true, but even if it is tough, contract lasts another 18 months anyway.

Aidan White left on bench, Pugh at left back. White is clearly the better full back but Grayson always says he only signs players who can go straight into the first tim and of course he signed Pugh permanent last week. White got 6 months left on contract and prem teams are apparently sniffing round. Join the dots.

Yep, cant even keep our own home grown/ younger players more than a year after they become first teamers. Same goes for Clayton probably. Says it all. Jokers.

Maybe it is because White likes to get forward too much where as Pugh will defend. Without Pugh in front of White Leeds are weak on that side of defence.

White is a liability at the back the other clubs are sniffing around are welcome to him

Its a bold statement saying anything has to be better than Lonergan - does that include Rachubka ?

Maybe I'm not quite as intelligent as the 1st replier, but I thought that Lonergan's been pretty good and probably our most consistent player this season.
