I saw him when he got the injury in the game against Barnsley under 23s. He really didn’t look right all game, so don’t know if it was niggling him before the game. Real shame because in the previous game, he really looked like he was in the way back.

I, for one, would like to see Shackleton continue. Trouble is that he and Luke both excel at attacking up the right. What a problem to have.

Good post Kiwi. I echo your thought on this. Surely if Luke has made a miracle recovery, exercise caution and introduce him as a sub with 20 minutes to go. Shack has excelled at RB and has done nothing wrong.

I think Bielsa rates Shacks, so wouldn’t surprise me if he starts, rb with Ayling in the centre or as CM. Can’t wait to see what we do tomorrow.
