Beckford has not got the quality McD wants. if we are going for players whose reputation was built in the 1st division we will go nowhere. if he had the exact same record as he has with us with Charlton or Peterborough he would not be mentioned.

If his contract is out in the summer then I can't see why we shouldn't make him an offer, he obviously knows he can't expect the mega money that he was on at Leicester, if his wages are in the same bracket of Ross and Morrison then I definitely think he's worth a shot.
