Warnock set to leave now aswell, surprised by that, decent(ish) player would of being fine as a squad player

Believable55 Unbelievable12

Have not long read that, I would imagine it's more to do with his wages and at 32 age .

Agree3 Disagree0

He will be on the highest wage (and oldest) of our LB.
White, Taylor and possibly Blackman coming in. I can see him leaving!

Agree4 Disagree1

Good move -and inevitable. We have decent young left backs waiting for an opportunity, and Warnock doesn't bring enough to the table to justify his inflated salary.

Agree2 Disagree0

I find this worrying and think he would be a 1st teamer with quality thin on ground. I like and trust MC and his own passion for football and arrogence will show he wants what is best for himself and the club (So think we will do well under him) but I am worried, hockday as manager (yes man who is cheap) blackman as trailist, no canteen, wash their own clothes (or be charged) are we one of the poorests teams in the league who have to go backwards to go fowards? if we finish below millwall my life will not be worth living

Agree3 Disagree0

Yeah suppose so, you would think he may offer to take a pay cut to keep his job though! He's my ping to be paid a big wage at any other championship club

Agree1 Disagree0

Well we've been linked to Murru from Cagliari who is younger, quicker and cheaper. Also have a few youngsters that play lb

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely Aidy White must be on his way out too?

over priced and lacking pace . I've always rated white . him left back byram right back leeds will be flying . and with a few quid in their pockets

Agree2 Disagree1

Sorry red but I think you are a tad off the mark there

Aidy has pace, BUT no end result, his last pass is poor on the whole AND defensively, he is not the best

I won't say poor but he really is not the best.

Agree1 Disagree2

White has pace but no football brain and can't control or pass a ball. Let him return to the Blunts on a perm deal.

Agree2 Disagree1

I predict that White will surprise one or two people this season if he is allowed to settle at left back.

Agree1 Disagree1

I've always thought Warnock was a liability…too slow, no positional sense, poor ball distribution, gives it away too much and prone to gaffes…wouldn't shed any tears if he decamped.

i think the problem with white was he was always good at the dribbling side and the workrate but none of the last managers ever taught him how to be a good left back . I still remember him coming on vs arsenal and running them ragged but he needs a lot of work but he has a lot of potential . a lot more than warnock

Leeds United are close to signing centre back Giuseppe Bellusci from Catania on a permanent transfer
he's 24 and a no nonsense centre back if he performs . he will be one of the top centre back in the league

interestingly although predominately a centre back he can play at right back

Is he a Blues brother?
Sounds like he can sing and dance.

Leeds to announce 2 signings tomorrow

Believable23 Unbelievable62

Blackman and Bellusci if that is the case I think, with our new keeper to be announced soon

Agree3 Disagree1

You sure Ryan? A club can't normally sign players when they have a transfer embargo?

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm only posting what I have read mate.

I live a few doors up from ross and he left with a big bag on Monday with his wife and kid and had not been back since

Believable20 Unbelievable51

Probably gone fly tipping again, watch out London.

Agree3 Disagree0

Big bag for all that money from fulham

Agree3 Disagree0

Monday as in yesterday?

Agree1 Disagree0

Turns out that was the day he handed in his transfer request. Could there be some truth in this?

Leeds United are set to sell club captain Ross McCormack to Championship rivals Fulham for a fee in excess of £8million.
I like many would like to see Ross stay, however money talks, and an ammount that high, for a player we signed for under a million, for a player who has had 1 great season and is already 27 is just impossible to turn down. Another way to see it is that Mathieu Valbuena is available for £8million (if certain reports are to be believed), and I know which player I would rather splash that ammount on, also, if this was Bates' tenure we would have sold for £2mil at the end of January and never seen a penny of it invested.

Leeds United have already signalled their intent with rumours linking us with a £2mil+ move for the young Italian GK, that have been confirmed by Adam Pope on social Network, and with Salerno now stating he works for Leeds, expect young, good (potentially Italian) players coming in in the near future.

(Sorry about the poor grammer, doing this at work)

Believable17 Unbelievable9

I like the look of Lukas Jutkiewicz who at 25 would be a good buy .
what you think?

Only concern with jutkeiwicz is he seems to be a journeyman already at 25. Since he left Everton he's been all over in loan and doesn't seem what you would call prolific. Gets one in maybe 3 or 4! We have Matt smith who has that ratio. Personally I'd be disappointed if we went for him. Think we could do a lot better!

As for McCormack, if he goes, he goes. Better players have come and gone and better players will come and go in the future, is it disappointing, yes. Understandable, definitely. If we'd got a top coach and a good signing he would see the ambition and stay, but we haven't shown any ambition and cm may have a plan to get us to the pl but it's going to be a long plan and ross doesn't really have time on his side. So Thankyou for all you did ross, good luck with Fulham and hopefully you get them promoted and were playing against you in pl next year. This is a big test of mc, if he reinvests the money from ross into the squad with 3/4 good players then we could well suprise a few people next year. Or will he pocket it just like bates did? Wait and see!

Fulham have upped their offer for Ross to £8million.

Massimo is pushing for £10million.

I say take it and get some other good players in.

Sky reporting 10 mil, which is good business, I did say contracts are not worth jack .
Has anyone seen the clips of Paddy Kenny on his return from holiday?
Looks well over weight no wonder he was left at home!

{Ed001's Note - if you think he looks overweight, wait until you see Ed013 when he gets back......}

Nah, Paddy had just got his packed lunch hidden under his shirt.

the good thing about cellino is he is in the daniel levy bracket of negotiator . if leeds sell any player now it will be for over the odds prices

Agree1 Disagree0

Take it maccormack will never get 29 goals next season if he goes to Fulham be lucky to get 15

anyone any news on ibarbo?

Believable8 Unbelievable8

Been left out of Columbia's side with a niggly injury I heard. He didn't perform to well for them in the two games he started.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds will not sign ibarbo that's pretty much certain but nothing is 100%
