Just wanted to say how dissapointed I was with our fans in the West Stand on Saturday. No passion what so ever, infact the only time they moved was to let people through to the bar at half time and when Bechio scored. I thought the prawn sandwich brigade had moved to the East. We need to get behind the boyes from the start and not wait for a moment of magic on the field to ignite the fans. We need to be fueling the players.

Back to North Stand for me.

Sounds like normal service resumed, sad set of people

Concentrate on what you're doing and stop slagging off your own fans. Perhaps you can lead by example?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's always been like that in the west stand that's why I've always had a season ticket in the kop

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people always have to find the negatives

Agree0 Disagree0

What an ar@@ hole fans like u dont bother coming {Ed013's Note - I call it the cardboard cut out stand as its always been quiet. I wouldn't slag it off though, people come to Elland road for all sorts of reasons. Some like a quiet game and therefore sit there. That is another reason I was surprised that the away fans got moved in there. My season ticket is in the North stand upper, but when I take my son I move to the East stand so he doesn't hear all the swearing. So everyone has reasons for choosing their places in the ground, lets not slag them off for it, at least they turn up and support the team!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed I don't think he was slagging off fans for turning up just being quiet here's the thing NW it was the first thing he mentioned the ER crowd was well known for being intimidating and noisy except we lost 5000 supporters and it wasn't as noisy ergo he asked for 30,000 and that's what he got and the noise because he knows as a manager that a noisy intimidating crowd lifts the team...... And of course he is right

Agree0 Disagree0

I sit in the West Stand I'm only 24 and I like to get to my seat and sit in peace and speak to my dad about our main common ground which is supporting Leeds United through thick and thin. My point is that we all support Leeds in our own ways for our own reasons so lets stick together because i love to take in the atmosphere that the North stand brings. P.S i cant stand prawn sandwiches.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am one of them dissapointing fans along with thee rest of my family, who had to move there from the kop as my 78 year old grandfather couldnt stand up for 90 minutes every week. Not to mention, all the atmosphere has been drained due to the fact that the away fans sit right next to us, i can never hear any of our fans sing. Saturday included. also probably a bit down to all the corporates that sit behind us, who never even stand up, never mind make noise.
i have turned up to every game this season, as well as most of the prople around me that i see every week, paid more than it costs in most of the other stands, now were getting abuse for not singing over the 3,000 away fans sitting in the corner!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because you cant slag the team or manager off at the moment you start on the fans lol get a grip if u want to get up and sing then carry on if not whats the big problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fans at elland road are a disgrace there is never any atmosphere the west ham will prove minor difference and return to normal tonight. Elland road is no fortress but a graveyard and anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves. Why do you all think our home form this season has been below par. Our away support however is one of the finest in the country. Btw im a home and away season ticket holder before any stupid replys question whether or not i go to games

Agree0 Disagree0

As a 20 year season ticket holder in the west stand not missed a home game in 11 years Leeds united fan from the of 7 I'm now 42 years old feel disappointed by the part time/once a year supporter who claims the west stand is quiet you should concentrate on the game no dowt he won't be there tonight mot

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone has a right to go and watch their team and do whatever they want when they get there.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is correct though the west stand is quiet i sat there for 3 years and have moved due to lack of atmosphere it also costs a bomb the east stand and kop are far better

Agree0 Disagree0

There's always something isn't there? Hugely unnecessary original post. Suggest we all ignore and move on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I choose the east stand cos i like to sit and concentrate on who is where and why and whos giong where and why .i likt to spot out the tactics and gameplay.
(ow what a nerd)plus i can get out dead quick.plus i dont give a damn what anyone else is doing...too old now and youll bea bit older one day

Agree0 Disagree0

Right so our home form is bad this year because of the west stand ? well done west stand fans !! there was me thinking it was because we couldnt defend lol what a wally and also if you like the east stand and kop better then sit there !

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest, if the north stand is full of people who slag off other fans like this, I'd rather sit in the west stand.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ridiculous post! Different people sit in different stands because that is what they like. Im a ST holder in the west stand and much prefer it to the south or north stand where the language has been disgusting when I have been in there. I pay more money to sit there to keep away from the bad language, My choice, if you dont like it dont sit there- its not hard!
