Why would drenthe go to a championship club?
Agree0

Drenthe plays on the other side to robson so it doesn't mean he will leave reading atall.

What I like most is, even though its your rumour, you still put in a question mark as you haven't got a clue! That's a man who, s rumours I'd belief.

Well they've got drenthe. Could it be possible that this RUMOUR is true? Seems a bit too ambitious of a signing to be Leeds to say we don't know what unds are available

BMD is loved by most Reading players and fans but get real Leeds fans, BMD does not has have the pulling power to attract any of our upper half squad players. I hope Leeds do well this year. (a life long Reading supporter)

Leeds have been in contact with Brian Deane over in Scandinavia to find the latest talent, players scouted are:
Magnus Wolff Eikrem - Molde
Jonas Svensson - Rosenborg
Lars Christopher Vilsvik - Strmsgodset
Ruben Yttergard Jenssen - Troms
Niklas Hult - Elfsborg
All relatively cheep! Sounds like Leeds!

I'm surprised Tomas Drage hasn't been mentioned. He's a great prospect

Leeds lad here
I life in trondheim and have watched jonas svensson play. Good pace with an eye for goal would be a good buy. Niki bille nielsen is on fire too at rosenborg and worth a look at.

Ruben yttergård Jensen has signed for hoffenheim in germany.
Biggest talent there is maybe on brian deans team. Elyounossi.

Is Deano Fit?

I would look at other players than that list. Look at norways u21 team, many good players there playing in The Norwegian "Tippeligaen". Some of The players on u21 team are now linked to teams like Roma, Napoli, everton. Wolf eikrem will be expensive. Big clubs been chasing him long, but Solskjaer won't let him go.

Really don't know why our scounts aren't doing Africa or 3rd world countries.
We may be able to afford these and not get outbid by championship and league 1 clubs!

Daily snail saying were now after Matt mulls on loan, could this be we have no money
Believable57
Unbelievable18
Lol "could this mean we have no money"
Simple answer is that their is no truth in this rumour.
As for proving we have no money mills wages in a season long loan would total £1.3 million alone.!

Been injured and out of form for a bit. A loan would be sensible with a view to a permanant at the season's end if successful. Nothing wrong with loans for the right players.

Spot on about loan players. imo our use of the loan market since we returned to the championship has been poor. We seem to go for older established players rather than talented youngsters from big prem clUBS the one exception being Ross Barkley.

We have no money, could this mean we have no money, that's all I see on this site. Why are Leeds fans always looking for the negatives
Agree1
Disagree0
Doubtful we'd be paying full whack on his wages for a season-long loan.
30-40% would be more likely. That brings him firmly in line with the current wage structure.
Agree1
Disagree0
I think its a case Bolton want £2M and Leeds only want to pay £1M, a loan suits both parties as Bolton get him off there books, plus Leeds get him for £1M at the end of the season
Agree1
Disagree0
How much "money" does everyone want. £1mil? which as the last poster commented would cover Mils wages for a year.
£10mil? which is rumoured to be 2/5s of the value of the club
Frankly speaking I don't care how much we have, as long as we can bring in players that would make th team better and fill the gaps where we need them.
1 decent "money" signing would be nice, but if we bring in some quality free signings then most people would be happy.

To writer number 4.
Please point out the positives?
I know of two;
1 Our away support is phenominal!
2 We appear to have a decent manager

Not looking for the negatives mate just being realistic. How long have GFH been in charge now and how much have they spent on players? Morison swap Warnock free Halibooboo loan Smith free? When are they going to let the Manager bring in a quality player? MOT
Agree2
Disagree0
Please don't believe the daily mail. when we were relegated to division one they started a coloum called leeds watch. as soon as we won our first 7 games they stopped it. it was just to put the boot in. when gfh took over they were the ones who put a journalist on the case who come up with all the negative stuff.

Warnock was a quality player and sadly I think, Neil Warnock convinced gfh that Morison was also a quality signing. Let's face it, with warnock ready to be sacked he should not have been allowed to sign any players in January, or even better he should have been sacked then.

I would like this to be true. However I don't see it. He is valued around 1mil. A savvy purchase if we did land him. Attacking mid/left wing.

According to tv Leeds are tracking Kazenga LuaLua from Brighton and Erwin Hoffer an Austrian striker who plays for Napoli and has been on loan in the bundesliga for two years. Napoli are looking to offload him. Could be a coup for Leeds!
Believable15
Unbelievable56
Erwin Hoffer was at Frankfurt last year. He is a very good striker. If we land him I will be surpised but really really excited. He is 24 I think so not too old and not too young, very good player
Agree0
Disagree0
Hoffer is 26, wouldn't really call him a very good striker he plays like McCormack creative, link up play & supplies assists however he's hardly prolific as a striker.
He is also much traveled he's already played for 6 clubs, his move to Napoli has meant he's spent the last 3 seasons on loan which hasn't helped his development.
Hoffer needs to settle down, & have a regular club. I wouldn't mind him at Leeds I think he would be an astute signing at this level.
Agree0
Disagree0
Nevermind all these strikers wheres the midfielders and defenders seems everyones forgot how poor our defence was last season
Agree1
Disagree0
Our defence yes conceded sloppy goals, late goals and made mistakes however you need to consider that we played wasteful football & gave possession to the opposition pretty much all game our defence was under sustained pressure for majority of games its was inevitable that we would concede playing like that.
With BMD style of play things will be a lot different.
