From what I've seen from the various
rumours, these are the possible strikers
that we are interested in:
DJ Campbell - qpr
Harib haribou
Steve Morison - Norwich
Johnny Russell - Dundee united
Aruba Dindane - Free agent

MOT

Believable16 Unbelievable19

All these rumours have already appeared on this site repeatedly.

Agree0 Disagree0

And I bet the free one comes.

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd like johnny Russell signed up in Jan and habibou on a pre-contract to join in summer for free. I think that would unfairly astute. And hold on to becchio. I.would probably go in with nn offer of 1m for Russell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Johnny Russell actually a rumour or just been created by leeds fans for this site? Are there any sources to leaning towards his possible arrival?

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster - I know they have all appeared on here at some time but I thought i'd just sum them up so people could see them collectively.
+ I think johnny russell is just someone that most leeds fans want but were linked with in summer

Agree0 Disagree0

DJ Campbell - Hull
Harib haribou - ?
Steve Morison - Wage demands
Johnny Russell - No
Aruba Dindane - Hope not

West Brom to loan out 22 yr old Craig Dawson to a championship club, they will pick Leeds, He Will be able to play alongside his England you 21 team mate Lees, and have a testing game coming up against Tottenham so they can see how he will fare against real quality. This will be a great deal for us.

Believable50 Unbelievable17

If he ain't good enough at 22 for West Brom it's doubtful that he'll make the prem grade

Agree0 Disagree1

Look at Jagielka and the many other defenders who learnt in the championship. Lees will be prem quality one day.

Agree3 Disagree0

I've watched and seen Craig Dawson a few times, he is a good little player, that is strongest at CB, but I think he can play rb or lb as well.

Would be extremely happy with this signing, and hopefully WBA would be happy to put a few to buy in as well.

Who knows it might be a sorry you can't have Thomas back on loan, will give you Dawson instead

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the kind of rumour I LIKE. Nothing
wrong with loaning out a player to gain
experience. Will with
interest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry typing too fast will WATCH with interest

Agree0 Disagree0

On os, look at squad list, chris Dawson has shirt 32, but there is no official statement! Maybe he has just signed and the statement is still being drafted?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not another loanie!

Agree0 Disagree0

Chris/Craig ? we probably have a junior called Chris, not the same bloke as being posted about

Agree0 Disagree0

Number 32 is chris dawson he from dewsbury not craig from wba

Yep linking us to morrison from Norwich

Believable61 Unbelievable14

Sorry to say 5 goals in 53 appearances enough said rather resign painter

Agree0 Disagree2

Very effective Champ striker. Good call, and time Norwich gave us something in return! Chapel A

Agree2 Disagree0

Maybe Becchio going in the opposite direction. I can just see it now.

Agree0 Disagree2

Becchio was not interested today it looks like he wants out but who can blame him

Agree1 Disagree1

Last reply by norwich fan 2/1

Agree1 Disagree0

Too expensive for is, weekly wage too much and he's not worth that sort of money. We don't need Morrison

Agree1 Disagree0

Morrison has no heart and would be a disaster. I know - I'm a season ticket holder at Carrow Road. We must not waste our money on him.

Sign Brian Howard free agent bags of championship experience !

Believable8 Unbelievable46

Definitely possible, he's ex Blunts like Warnock, and just left Pompey like half our signings under Colin.
He's worth a punt, but we need defenders, wingers and a striker, not more central midfielders!

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need Brian fatboy Howard and he is not good enough for Leeds. He is a league 2 player at best

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree he might not be right for the number of CM/CAMs we already have. But he certainly isn't fat!
JC MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

Hes not thin unless your lookin rong way threw a telescope

Agree0 Disagree1

If he was any good why hasn't any other club snapped him up lets look for young Hungry players who have something to prove not Warnocks journey men who are past it

Leeds to sign another has been dindane, who played for our feeder club Portsmouth, is that the icing on the cake, laughable.

Believable41 Unbelievable19

Agree enough is enough with portsmouth players now. Not happy. No marquee icing on the cake signing. Thing we're being conned yet again.

Agree1 Disagree0

He seems really good and has played for some top teams, he's strong quick and has a cracking shot so what's the problem, he's also a free agent right so I think warnock is being clever and saving money for a winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

But he's 32. Maybe the above things in the past but now I don't think so.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jan 2013 14:26:58
I agree got a powerfull shot on him as well I think this would be a good signing

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do we need a winger? Warnock doesn't play with wingers

Agree1 Disagree0

If you look at his history he's actually a pretty decent player, granted he's a bit old now but Diouf is 32 and we all love him?

Agree0 Disagree0

After announcing he is unhappy with the amount of playing time at derby conor sammon says he could potentially sign for a club like leeds as he knows the manager well and likes their playing style.

Believable7 Unbelievable41

He likes the fact the fact that all we do is hoof it up the pitch??

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think anyone in the right state of mind likes our current strategy of play

Agree0 Disagree0

What hoof ball?

Agree1 Disagree0

We don't want to sign anybody who likes our playing style

Agree0 Disagree0

So you think signing a derby county bench warmer is a great idea poor deluded bloke

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt we could afford his wages anyway

As soon as Brighton sign a striker, CMS will sign for Leeds I know some on hear don't rate him but I think him and Ross would be a exciting partnership. When he played against us it surprised me how fast he was.he would link with Diouf as he makes very good runs and as we have seen Diouf can spot a pass. He would be the perfect fit, IMO Warnock has got this one spot on.we just need a bit off luck ie the deal Brighton have on going with the argi striker going though(not Becchio )

Believable29 Unbelievable16

Cms and ross ould be mouth-watering M.O.T 3points today!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm sure brighton signed a striker a few days ago.

Agree1 Disagree0

Brighton did sign a striker the other day, and original poster, you are spot on, I am from brighton myself and have been to watch them play with mates, CMS movement is outstanding and with him and rosco moving about and diouf feeding them in, i'd say we could get in the playoffs. Who needs becchio, if he wants to go, let him! MOT - With or without Becchio! Lufc

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sorry to have to post this message.Ive been following all these rumours about strikers, and players in general, comming to our great club, some believable some questionable, most i'm sure posted with genuine desire and intent. It seems to be endless, yet we just don't seem to be signing anybody at all.Beginning to get a bit down in the mouth. We just don't seem to be bringing anybody at all in.This can't go on indefinatly.Great win today albeit against BR (I see udders lost ha ha ha), but that is down to NW who is swimming against the tide.Come on gfs, get your hands in your pockets and give NW some funds, we need to be moving up the table confidently from here on in.We won't be playing also rans like Brum, and BR every week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh and not to forget udders in the also ran section too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely udders should be in the "Never Rans" section?!

Possible signing shane long could be an interest for Neil Warnock as long has failed to start many league games as Romelu Lukaku has taken his place. Leeds may be interested in the striker as he has shown his pace, class and ability in the past for WBA.

Believable5 Unbelievable59

In our dreams! With Liverpool considering a £12m bid, I'm sure we can make it a tricky decision for him! Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree0

12 million my arse

Read in a soccer magazine (Can't remember which) that Shane Long is a lifelong Leeds fan, He used to like watching Ian Harte play...God knows why the guy couldn't defend.

Aruna Dindane to sign on free until end of season (sounds right as we only sign old, ex-Pompey players) source: Daily Snail

A real statement of intent by the new owners and Warnock!!!!!
