I have heard from my friend, that the club marwan koukash is interested in is Birmingham, my m8 is a brummy and the rumour is big in Birmingham.

Have also heard this, strong rumours flying around in rugby league circles he is hoping to tie up a deal to buy leeds in next 4-6 weeks. Plenty of wealth, and tried to splash cash in RL, Salford just can't attract the big names. Hopefully this will be true, think with his backing we could be heading upwards

The oldham rumours are due to him currently being chairman of Salford RL. Koukash is said to be looking at a fallen giant in the Championship (and Oldham are neither Championship or a former big club). It appears with certain restrictions like the salary cap in RL Koukash is limited to what e can do and is therefore looking at other investments, with Leeds said to tick the boxes he wants

Next takeover is going to be a lot smoother than the previous one.
The ins and outs of Bates's dealings and Leeds share division must have been a nightmare.
GFH will be a much more slick operation.

I hope he is looking at every other club but ours. We do not need another season of a takeover talks stalling the club going forward, like last season

There was a recent report in one of the Manchester newspapers that confirmed the club he was looking to buy was Oldham.

Its Birmingham apparently although they are not a big club, never will be and they never have been! MOT

Kenny s a good keeper but doesn't want to be at Leeds ow his dad has gone. Get rid and bring in the Westwood.

Kennys a good keeper? what were you watching last season, like all our players he had some good games but he was at fault a lot of the time too, and when the balls crossed in to the area he has no idea, not big enough, not good enough one of our weakest positions lasy season.

Leeds united have today told the agent of Beckford that they are NOT interested in signing him, this will now pave the way for Beckford to join Bolton for around £750K.

Beckford was willing to join for £15K/week, however, BM has other younger strikers in mind and has now declined to sig Beckford.

Now let that be the end to all the 'he's coming home rubbish!'

How can he sign a pre-contract? he is still under contract for another two years, only pre-contracts can be signed for players who have no club after 1st July.

I'll put a bet on with anyone here that beckford out scores any of our strikers next season

Would love to see Backford back - proven goalscorer. Agree with above that he will easily outscore McCormack and any of our forwards. Beckford and Smith would be the combination.

I think we do need a new striker but more urgently a CB and a creative midfielder.

Would anyone want becchio back at leeds. Talk of a season long loan. I would not welcome him back personally.

Just to clear things up Aiden white will not be leaving.

Becchio is showing what being big headed does to you so no let them keep him and let him see we dnt need him.

Nope wouldn't have Becchio back. let's see how Morrison does with a good pre-season. I still think he will turn out OK. Becchio has no pace and ain't the best with ball control, so to play to his strengths we'd need two wingers.

Agree with you on White. For every good game he has 10 bad. Read somewhere that Derby were going to offer £1.5 million for him, that's probably £1 million more than he's worth on a good day. If they are then get rid and spend it on good left winger

wow you lot are fickle becchio stayed loyal when others jumped ship. personally I respect him he had to secure a good last deal for him and his family. bet u would change jobs for better money
