Look on SSN - even W*&ky Watford have had a takeover now - Its becoming a joke, didn't even know they were even in a takeover process

SSN Reports:- Watford have agreed a deal to transfer ownership of the Championship club to the Pozzo family.
The Italians, who own Serie A side Udinese and Spanish outfit Granada, have been strongly linked with a move for the Hornets in recent months - the key statement there is the "recent months" quote, takeovers take time and as a Leeds Fan you probably would not have heard about it before because we don't give a s*** about Watford. Bernard Arnault reported to be a late bidder for the Leeds United takeover. This guy is loaded and plans to take Leeds to be the best team in England.
Warnock will be sticking around for promotion this year due to his reputation.

Expect to see Buzaky, Kenny and Fitz Hall in next week.

Much as I would like this to be true I would think that if he were to buy any club he would buy one in France personally. As I say I would love it to be true but cannot see it myself.

Actually he's worth 27.5B but the fact that he's French although adds yet another country to the long list of other countries of people who are supposed to be taking over us, would have thought he'd have gone after a French club like Paris st gemain as opposed to an English. That said I'd take him tomorrow as long as Bates goes

41 billion DOLLARS is around 27.5 billion POUNDS - check the currency before trying to correct the first reply.

My apologies, this fake rumour has got out of hand. I put this up yesterday and seems to have spread.

Big French clubs, like clubs in the premier league, are way too expensive, buy a big club from the lower leagues at a bargain price, with the infrastructure to support the big time and the fraction of the cost..and make them huge... Best business practice...too many rumours though ...hope it's true..any of the linked buyers are worth a fortune...heres hoping

I work 4 leeds united superstore had a meeting this morning that leeds will be under new ownership by monday next week and the name john andrew henry forrest came up a few times dont no if this they guy we wont find out till bates want everyone to know he has net worth of 5.3 billion and in 2010 was the richest person in austraila slipped to 3rd in 2012 not saying am right but my money is on him as new owner

or neil warnock is set to leave leeds at end off season hope the give him longer

Living down under its not often I can make a contribution to discussions on this site. "Twiggy" Forest has shown no interest in Football down here and buying Leeds would add no value to his business (the only other reason he would do it), so I see no reason why he would be interested.

Australian connection not so far fetched. Our profile is still quite high, down-under. We're fondly remembered for our employment of a certain Mr Kewell and Mr Viduka, in their prime. We also had a few other (then) promising Aussie youth players... football memories are long.

Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson will make a £1.5million move for Leeds forward Ross McCormack.

Rumour is they had a massive bust up with each other last seaso n so doubt it

They will need to offer more than that.if they offer 3 mil we cant turn them down so i would think we will hold out for 2.5 mil

McCormack is not desperate, if he leaves better offers will come in than Huddersfield for goodness sake.

I could only see this happening if Ross goes as part of a deal to bring Jordan Rhodes to ER.

McCormack in last year of his contract, so don't expect £2.5m. Also, unless takeover & lots of funding is provided quickly, I cannot see us being in a position to tempt Huddersfield with enough cash to release Rhodes!

McCormack would not go to Huddersfield as a player anyway, despite the fact he has no confidence in Grayson. Huddersfield will be relegation candidates next season and will spend most of their games defending, hence no quality players will wish to join them.

If Simon Grayson has put a bid in for Ross, he is just wasting his time. Ross hated him at Leeds and often kicked off with him and didn't agree with his decisions to start him on the bench while he was on a great run etc.
