I've got a friend who has been out in Australia with the Red Bull F1 team for the weekend after winning a competition and after they found out he was a Leeds fan he was hearing rumours that Red Bull are still interested in Leeds and that if Cellino is not allowed to take over they will make a new bid. However they know how desparate the current board are for money and also they want to leave so will start their bidding at a much lower price than Cellino offered and try to get us for a bargain price.

who ever comes in with a bid will probably start around 10 mil if cellino doesn't get the club .gfh got greedy they agreed a deal with sport capital and then seen a chance to get more money now they could end up with much less

I've got a friend who drinks Red Bull, and he has confirmed it doesn't give you wings, so not sure I believe anything they say!
I am sure someone who puts the 2nd nut on the front nearside tyre of a car for a living hasn't got a clue about what the group wants or does not want to invest in!
Me thinks you are clutching at straws (but I hope I am wrong and someone does save us if the FL reject Cellino's application!)

Not a chance. Not a bad effort though

Agree1 Disagree1

If Cellino's bid fails there will be lots of bargain hunters in

If red bull were interested in or wanted to buy Leeds United they would, Cellino situation would have no bearing on this. That's why I figure above red bull post is just another wind up.

Seems plausible, if Cellino doesn't takeover which is looking less likely now admittedly then I think a few groups may put cheek bids in for us. GFH have shown by there actions and statements in the last few months that they are lacking in invesment and want to get out and this could make them take a lower offer if Cellino doesn't happen.

Not a wind up, just a load of BULL! 25 mill to redbull is like us shelling out for a bus fare, jesus!

Cellino's solicitor has tonight confirmed in Italian press that his client will plead not guilty to tomorrow's tax evasion allegation and that he will be requesting an adjournment on behalf of his client to enable witnesses from America to provide admissible written testaments relating to the registration of Cellino's yacht in America. His solicitor estimates that a 3 month adjournment would be necessary. Apparently the prosecutor has indicated that a fine and confiscation of the yacht would be imposed if Cellino were to either plead guilty or be convicted but Cellino is adamant of his innocence. Anyone got any idea how long (legally) the Football League can just sit on Cellino's bid to buy our club if all other paperwork requested by FL has been supplied by Cellino & GFH? Don't think I could stand another 3 months of suspense. MOT

i think if no decision can be made very soon deal will be off . leeds can't afford to wait that long

Quite possible that he heard something at a Red Bull event, i've been to a few of there promotional events (or giant p**s up) as my company has a lot of work with them. The area we work in isn't anything to do with their sporting activities but I still hear rumours about that side of the business. Just like any big company rumours pass all around so I wouldn't be suprised if the pit crew have heard things about Leeds filtering down through the company and happened to make the connection. Also the F1 events are big events so would have people from all areas of Red bull attending not just those related to the F1 team so could have been from one of them

Red Bull are Loaded pal.they don't need to try and get us cheap, if they wanted us they would buy us. The only thing bull is your post pal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Red Bull maybe loaded but they will still want to pay as little as possible for us. Why pay £50M when if the owners are desparate that they may accept £30M. Your telling me you have never shopped around to look for the best deal when buying something

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Bull is the operative word in this thread
