IM Irish I heard bout this young lad great player hope fits in nicely mot

Agree0 Disagree0

He is supposed to be the next Kevin Kilbane.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is supposed to be what? The next Kevin Kilbane!? - Why would he be compared to a Rebublic of Ireland Midfield/Winger when he is an Northern Irish Striker?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's still very young and hasn't played many games yet so he is most likely to play in the under 18's and Development Squad for at least year or two before he gets a chance at first team level if he does sign. Unless of course he turns out to be 'wonder kid'. hopefully!

Agree1 Disagree0

Our development squad seems to be getting a lot of plaudits so next season may see some move up or loaned out/transferred. Was mentioned that they are a very young team so maybe some more u18s needed for that squad with a few playing u21s

Leeds are set to sign Glenavon striker Robbie McDaid according to the local Ulster Herald. The 17 year old has travelled to Leeds and will sign a 2 year contract.

No official confirmation from the United camp, but McDaid is highly rated. Leeds boss Brian McDermott has a good track record with Irish youngsters-if McDaid does sign on the dotted line, let's hope McDermott has bagged another gem.

Believable36 Unbelievable11

Another gem! what gem has BMD bagged already! that's the funniest thing I have heard all season.

Agree2 Disagree3

Shane long to be one of them he bagged? He's got a good record of finding talent in Ireland.

Ash.

Agree3 Disagree0

Brian's signings have been very poor so far, he's overdue a good one

Agree3 Disagree4

Ok McDermotts siginings have been poor? do tell.

Smith - been one of our better players this season.

Murphy - slow starter but coming good recently.

Wooton - had 1 maybe 2 bad games, rest of the time he's been solid, and he's only 22/23/

Kebe - had a blinder against huddersfield, albeit after a slow start, but again coming good.

Stewart - been farily average, but not poor, though he isn't fully match fit and a young player give him time.

Zaliukas - Been and absolute rock at the back, won us games, managed to keep us in games to nick a point.

Noel Hunt - Ok the only one ill give you, but then again he has hardly played, and I still expect him to be an asset.

Agree2 Disagree2

Noel Hunts an asset already, not on the pitch, but in the background by the looks of it. He's had a great effect on Mccormack, looks like they're best buds off the pitch and ross seems to have settled down in leeds more now hunts arrived. I bet Hunt's a great personality to have in and around the dressing room.

Agree5 Disagree2

Are you Noel Hunt by any chance?

Agree3 Disagree0

He is from Northern Ireland not Ireland. It's like the difference between England and Scotland. Would be better to compare him to a Northern Irish player, Maybe someone like Shane Ferguson.

Agree1 Disagree0

I`m sorry, and I believe in giving everyone a chance, but Kebe has been appalling since he arrived . One decent finish (ish) the rest utter crap

Agree2 Disagree1

Dont talk stupid I live in belfast and only differance between north and south of ireland is the names such as northern ireland and southern ireland but its one nation one country. always has been always will be no matter what wee dotted line you care to try draw through it. like england and scotland my ass LMAO! catch yourself on haha! One nation up the irish. As for this wee player coming, best of luck to him. Leeds has always had a good connection with irish players over its history! mot

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever. He's British.

No signings will be made atleast till Friday that way Brian can get as many games as possible. It would be a daft move not to wait till then

according to ssn, BMD met Massimo at the end of last week to discuss the future. Any news of how it went? SKY also says the the FL approval is now widely expected to be a approved. First time I have seen a news channel say this!

Believable25 Unbelievable3

Survivor/Jeff, you are ITW. so how about it?

Agree0 Disagree2

Survivor is as itk as my goldfish. I don't even have a goldfish. Why do people believe him his last post on the banter page doesn't even make sense. Waffle

Agree1 Disagree0

I think no news has to be good news (hopefully so anyway given the mounting debt).

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, that had to be one of the worst stories I ever read. It told you absolutely nothing.

except that they met last week.

Which we already knew!
