Just read that Fabio Cannavaro is being lined up to replace Evans. Well one look at his managerial CV fills me with apathy, however a paragraph in his Wiki file makes him fit the bill -
In Feb 2015, Fabio Cannavaro, his wife Daniela, and his brother Paolo were given prison sentences for breaching orders and entering Fabio's residence after it had been seized by authorities in 2009, amid an investigation into fraudulent activity and tax evasion.

All we are saying is give Steve a chance.

Una he's had his chance and we are still a mid table team same as last year so we haven't moved forward. I personally think he's bang out of order publicly blaming players for individual errors that cost us games because it's a team effort and that does moral no good at all, never hear him saying sorry I got it wrong do we? He can share cellinos taxi for me.

His signings have been pretty good so far. ( Bridcutt/ Dave) More solid in mf with some protection for defence. can't blame se for cb's, and rest of squad for that matter.
Also there's a lot to be said for consistency, including manager. Will help to settle the view people have of MC as a 'manager eater' .
That whole squad will benefit from the continuity he will provide going through a closed season together, not withstanding necessary improvements.
Martyn, we are a mid table team because we have a mid table squad, I fear no manager would elevate this lot into the playoffs, and so closed season will be crucial in terms of squad improvement and, perhaps as importantly, who we are able to keep hold of.

There will be no Bridcutt next season as we won't pay the wages and while ever he publicly criticises people heads will always be down.

What you saying Martyn a manager can't criticize a player for individual error. When individual errors have cost us over 12 points this season.

Only the daily Fail are (et again) reporting that Canavaro is linked to Leeds and we all know their ulterior motive is not in Leeds interest or ever will be.

Any critasising should be done in private una. You never hear him saying I got it wrong do you? This is what MC. Means by he talks too much and as much as I disagree with MC I feel he's got a point on that one.

And how many points has evens cost us una by insisting on picking wooden wooton? Short memories me thinks.

Got to agree with Martyn on this if a player can't take the criticism then there in the wrong game and the only reason mc keeps telling evens to keep his mouth shut is because it's the rubbish players he's fetched in that's cost us some important points.

This is the trouble with player power a lot of players think there better than they are and there's a few of them in that Leeds squad and mc fetched most of them.

I think that the problem is that the leeds defence doesn't work with eachover well, Belusci is a waste of space and has singlehandedly cost us 5 points. If we had them five points + the points we lost from stupid draws at the beginning of the season, we would be able to make play offs easily. Wooton is also a waste of space bearing in mind we payed the best part of a million pounds for him.

What's all this about head of recruitment. Just let the manager recruit then we end up with round pegs in round holes.
