Heard Kieron Dyer wants to bring back his career & train with Leeds United to try & revive his football career in a lower league with the possibility of making it back into the Top League within the next few years.... MOT :-D

Hope he comes, but can't see it somehow.

Seriously why bag out this guy for he would probably be the best talent to come to the club since el hadj diouf, what we have 1 international who plays for jamaica wtf stop whinging & complaining if anyone wants to come to leeds with half of the talent that dyer has or had we would welcome them & get off your high horse wow leeds have been taken over but hold on its not by the likes of the people who own man city or psg or sop & so on get over it leeds are building & if they can have someone of that caliber & talent so what if he has had injuries it doesn't mean he has no talent or can't make a contribution to a team in a bad league in which Leeds are, i have been a leeds supporter for a long time & have seen worse pathetic people play for leeds who everyone on this page has talked up so stop destroying confidence in people & let them enjoy the game they love to play & we love to watch

Anything has to be better then brown he's 35 or 36 and still plays so why not give dyer a shot only thing that is worrying is he is injury prone and is waste of wages money

IF (and granted its a big if) Dyer can stay fit for a run of matches, he has the ability to be a great improvement on our team. He is a class act and could tear it up at Championship still...age is irrelevant these days, look at Giggs and Scholes still doing it at Prem level, if he signs (would have to be pay as you play deal) would be good for the club imo

Dyer was a fantastic player and if he has still retained half the skills and talent then he would be a great signing on a pay as you play basis.

Heard Leeds have been linked with a loan move for Spurs left-back Zeki Fryers? Used to play for Man.Utd but Ferguson hates him so I'm sure he'd be a hit with the fans.

Also, slightly old news but Jose Baxter renewed his contract at Oldham. Fair play to the lad wanting to play first team football, refreshing to see, shame we missed out on him though.

Do we really want a utd reject?

I remember seeing this lad play a few years back looked class then it would be a quality signing if we could get him.Just imagine the look on Fergies face!

He wasnt a man you reject he let his contract run out, but tottenham didn't want to pay compo so let him to to standard leige and them signed him from them 6 months after

He moved to sunderland in the summer after arry signed him for spurs on a 6 month contract from eveton last jan and o neil wants danny graham.great move if he could stay fit.

Is their any substance in this woeful rumour at all or do people just read that a player has been told he can leave their club (which is the case here) and suddenly magic up a link with LUFC. Come on guys what's the point... this rumour is ridiculous

From what i understand from the termination of his contract he is not allowed to sign for another premier league club but is free to join a championship or lower league team. I can't see him joining Leeds though as his wage demands even with the new owners would be considerably more than any Leeds player at the present. should Becchio leave which seems to be becoming common knowledge I would guess we could use the transfer fee to cover Saha's wage costs. So not a bad idea in fairness, I just doubt it at the present with the other targets NW has in mind he woulldnt fit in.

I thought he was going to a south american club.

Also a Belgian striker was mentioned but I couldn't find any in the QPR squad so had a slight doubt....

Becchio was home last night, not in bournemouth, as he has said himself, he turned up but was sent home by the doc, warnock doesnt want him gone and he hasn't asked for a transfers, just personic rumours

Best cash in imo.It looks like we need the money.NW could do a lot with £3m in the transfer market.Good piece of business so long as the money is actually made available to NW.

Don't want to stir up the rumour mill on this one again but word is going around down here (Brighton) that Mackail-Smith is once again coming to us, this has nothing to do with what happens to Becchio as I have no info on that just rumours on CMS from in and around the Amex Comm Stadium.

If this is to be the case can we please try and sign Will Buckley while we are at it, he is talented, skilful and consistant.

Heard we are interested in Dicko from Wigan, he looked lively for Blackpool earlier in the season and certainly wouldn't turn him down if the opportunity arose.

And as for the shouts of "Warnock out" well I am a little surprised at this, firstly get GFH to dip into their pockets, if they can't spend the money to improve the squad how is that Warnocks fault, we have signed average players so far because he has'nt been given any significant funds to use.

The reason why it is Warnock's fault is that it is his team. He bought all of these average journey men. He constantly plays players out of position and to cap it all when he does finally bring in a quality midfielder (lad from Everton) his tactics are for our back four to miss out the midfield entirely with "John Smith style 'ave it" clearances

I think the Warnock out is not only down to frustration in that Warnock keeps saying he's bought a fighter and someone who gives 100% and then that's not what we see on the pitch. For myself I don't like the very clumsy and underhand way he and his assistant manager tried to "sell" Becchio and then try to alienate him from the club by publicly blaming him alone for an utterly abject performance by Warnocks team. I understand Warnock saying certain things to motivate his team. I understand he hasn't the money to buy better players and we keep getting frustratingly close to a play off place but frankly he's being dishonest about Becchio and the team has lost games it never should have.

I'd be ok with Warnock being sacked now. He's had long enough and has been a failure. The crowds aren't just down to Bates now they're dwindling away because of crap football and crap excuses from the manager.

Interesting post, i think the reason for the warnock is the manner and style of which the team is performing, it appears to be long ball tactics, where we don't really have the players to play that way, which is ridiculous as warnock brought a lot of these players in.

secondly he only has a contract til the end of the season, i think that we have missed the boat as far as promotion is concerned, so why give him more money to spend, when in all likeliness he will be gone at the end of the season. they may aswell hold on to the cash and give it to a new manager who can launch a promotion push next season

It's his fault because he's wasted the cash he has had on medicrity and worse...Peltier, Varney, Tonge for example. No game changers there and the football he asks people to play is from a bygone age. Out of his depth and out of the club if Bristol (and O'Driscoll) smash us on Saturday. He is nothing but a self publicist, his comments at Barnsley were crass and sum him up...arrogant and full of himself...it's all about Colin and nothing to do with LUFC going up.

Gus Poyet did say CMS would not be sold unless he had a replacement. Well he's just signed that Striker from Almeria ain't he? This could possibly happen with CMS you never know i guess.

Whether or not Becchio is staying i really don't know. He's a Leeds idol and although he aint the best player in the Championship, Leeds idolise him (I know i do)

Becchio is awful. Can't move, can't pass, dribble, shoot or stay on his feet.... He is holding us up and is the root cause of our hoofball problem.

Up until this yeaterday I had heard Karl Robinson, MK Dons, was the new manager GFH were targeting. However if stories are correct he is going to Blackpool. Shame as he is a good young manager who gets MK playing nice attractive football while still being fairly solid at the back.

Also I don't believe that NW only has the weekends game to save his job he will be here till the summer. Any new manager will want to spend money and GFH don't want to open the cheque book till the summer when they hope to have a new permanent manager in. Rumours are that the man they want is currently employed so they want to wait so any compensation they pay is less.

I agree warnock will be here untill the summer and we will be in the exact same position now next season simple fact any manager needs time to asses his squad and then identify targets if we going to get a new manager we actualoly need him in round about march so hehas games left to asses squad and get his players in time for p0re season
