Davide Astori is apparently snubbing Roma for Leeds! He's done it before by turning a big money move to Russia down! Mot

Snubbing Roma for Leeds . and Manchester Utd, Everton and Southampton who all chased him in January

Not going to happen. would love it because he's a great player. massimo has had to buy young prospects and sell them at a profit. 5000 crowds. that's like halifax with a full house surviving in the premier league

I very doubt this is true but MC has a lot of authority in italy and I think he is willing to break the bank for a lot of players. He knows a lot of people in italy and I think we might see a lot of italians at Leeds .This guy has a serious amount of money and he will get leeds back to where they belong

FFP I agree but must be a loop-hole somewhere I mean how the hell did QPR get away with it 2yrs ago?
HR went in and said players were on 100k a week and QPRs crowds are similar to ours?

QPR under a cloud as they are reported to be 65 million pounds in debt a little bit over the 8 million quid they are allowed! FFP isn't worth sh*t the sliding scale of punishment maxes out with a transfer embargo in the Jan window the likelihood even for teams like PSG is a fine!
Its designed to ensure clubs are tied into FIFA won't ensure fair play in my opinion.
Still we can be certain we will be under the spotlight and if there is a chance the FFP or FL can introduce new punitive measures we will be the first club to be on the end of them! #MOT

QPR got away with it 2 ears ago, BECAUSE, it didn't exist. Its only been in Championship Last and this season.

FFP not in Championship 2 years ago. This and Last season only. Anyway the owners of QPR are sufficiently rich to buy "Equity", to bring debt down to FFP levels.

Brian McDermott looking at highly rated Southend keeper Bentley on a permanent deal and also looking at Man City youngster Huws on loan next season as he has impressed at Birmingham City this season.
Rumours circulating a total of 8 players are on the way out this year but names have yet to be confirmed, however it's obvious the likes of Diouf and Drury are all but gone. Cellino also looking at a new sponsor as he isn't a fan of the current one, rumours say he's already made contact to set up a deal when the current one expires in a couple of years.

From a very good source inside ER.
MC to keep BMD & GIBBO (if they want to stay after he gets rid of the rest of the back room staff)
8 players to be shipped out in the summer (sorry NO names were mentioned)
Also my informer says MC very funny guy but MAD as a hatter ;)

8 players are out of contract in the summer anyway. i'd expect more to be shipped out by MC either put on transfer list or paid off.

I bet more than 8 get shipped out loads of dead wood out of contract

Like the sound of that Andy, cheers. I think Gibbs could turn out to be very good and if BMD is as committed to Leeds as he says then he will be staying. 8 sounds about right too, cool

Lets quote the obvious shall we? 8 players out of contract, none of them any good, none of them with any sell on value, why would he want to keep any of them then? There may be another 3, 4 or 5 going as well if we can get shut? BUT would you want BM to bring another 9, 10 or 11 players in to replace them? Just look at Hunt, Kebie, Stewart, wooton, Zakalusis, none first choice none any good none an improvement, and now we hear Cellino don't him to play Murphy further up field? First one out the door should be BM the man has not got a clue!!

You'd have to be Mad as a hatter to take on the shambles the previous few administrations have left us in. I don't think it's ever going to get dull when MC is around. All aboard for bumpy ride. Can't wait!!

Come on, if Poyet becomes available it would be a no-brainer not to get him in. He and Cellino would get on like a house on fire with their shared passion -both 'fooball men' too, which is what we need. Chapel A

Actually, only a couple of players are out of contract at the end of the season. Brown is the only player of note whose contract is up this summer. Most of the deadwood still have a year.
Contracts expiring this year;
Danny Pugh (thank goodness)
Jamie Ashdown
Michael Brown
Alex Cairns
Contracts expiring next year;
Sam Byram
Rudolph Austin
Lee Peltier
Noel Hunt
Stephen Warnock
Marius Zaliukas
Aiden White
Paddy Kenny
Michael Tonge
Matt Smith
Dominic Poleon
David Norris

Agree with what is put above is obvious who is going as a minimum and think a lot more will be out the door (in my opinion the more the better) I can not see (nor do I want) brain Mc staying, with him being sacked MC's history of firing and Brian's form this season think he is a dead man walking see and hope for wholesale changes but think any rumours of players coming in are all rubbish until the new gaffer is in place

Still laughing at Survivors comment above! Do you really think McDermott will agree to being a scout again? He can get on a short list for a managers job at about 70 other league clubs despite Leeds recent results. Scouts don't get paid any where near what managers get - why would he take a big pay cut and also have to report to another manager? He's a boss and won't be returning to scouting just yet. although it might be something for his twilight years. Get a grip.

From the let's "quote the obvious" why have you written " be glad when its a registered site"CRAP your quoting the blatently obvious and I'm putting on my opinion, you don't like it so your right and I'm wrong, what a person you are, you don't have to have inside info "apparently" to know there will be whole sale changes, there is way too much dead wood in the squad, and BM has bought crap! NO WAY will BM let loose with a smart mans money, he can keep dwelling how he got reading up, has he does, but nearer to the present he also got them 90% relegated, he doesn't mention that does he? But when he's sacked please come on and tell me I was right.

Use your brain.
We have to pay him but he's not good enough to manage so instead of paying him off let him scout and earn his money.
It's obvious.

Survivor - I want a pint of what you are on! McDermott has a managers contact and Cellino can't suddenly change this to 'scout' because (a) Brian won't agree (b) The League Managers Association / union won't agree and (c) his contract is a legal document that's binding.
If Leeds want BM to step down, then they will have to pay up his contract in full or in agreed stages.
Employment law dictates that if the job description changes then a new contract is drawn up and agreed by all parties (or BM could rightfully sue for constructive dismissal).
