What has been reported in The Sun today about SG? {Ed001's Note - it is a story about his personal life, not relevant to football at all and better left to old women to enjoy their malicious gossip.}
What has actually been said It sounds pretty serious {Ed001's Note - as I said, it is personal gossip, nothing to do with footie, if you want to gossip about that there are plenty of things such as Heat magazine for malicious gossip.}
Why did they publish that?!! It's such a tiny story and it could ruin simons confidence?!
Quite right, Editor. A private matter. Who buys that rag anyway? Who gets their kicks out of reading of others' misfortunes? Sun readers, obviously. {Ed001's Note - especially knowing the pain that rag has caused others, I thought people knew better in this day and age.}
The sad thing is I was seeing about previous managers who have been "exposed" like this, and alot of them have stepped down. I really hope this doesn't happen to Simon because this story is so stupid and petty, it happens everyday, big deal.
What's the point of that story on the OS? may as well say "We'll draw your attention to the fact the Sun has written something about our manager, but we're not going to say anything on the matter one way or the other."
If you want to know type in simon grayson the sun on google.
Leeds OS has to acknowledge the situation, otherwise we'd have all the whingers on here complaining about transparency and the like. It is a private matter, and needs leaving as such.
From a selfish fan's POV, I'm delighted with the story! I am a firm believer in what I like to call the "Bowyer effect", i.e. putting in great performances week after week in face of adversity. SG might just be on top of his game in more ways than one now.
We're gonna win the title...and now you're gonna believe us....MOT
As the OS says this is a private matter. It's sad, but is old news anyway. Let them move on and let SG get on with his job. The Club are right to distance themselves and stay out of it.
Who cares as long as he will still function as a manager
I agree, apparently this happened weeks ago, unfortunatley in this day and age its a sad fact of life,its a personal matter, as long as it doesnt cloud his judgement or affect how SG does his job why should it matter,this has happened to people from all walks of live and they dont resigned from their positions or jobs so why should SG? Its all about the media Leeds bashing becouse weve now found form and the southern softies of tabloids are frightened bcouse the pheonix is rising from the ashes,like we all know we would
Just googled it.What a pathetic story. Another attemt to try and sour the name of Leeds UTD.
Sun newspaper, Id like to invite you to the real world, where things like this happen all the time.
This is the one time where I'm really glad Bates is in charge because he won't care one iota about this story & so he shouldn't. The only repercussions from this story is it'll make the club stronger as it often does when the wolves are surrounding us.
Hope SG's prepared for plenty of banter from our lads in the terraces though lol
MOT {Ed007's- Don't buy The S*n or even acknowledge it's existence.}
This is old news and did anyone notice on friday that the ring is still on the finger. the sun should publish real news.
in grayson we trust.mot.
Have never bought or read s*n since they helped thatcher against miners
Lets leave this alone, it's a personal matter as ed stated, and needs leaving that way....
Simon should have our full support irrespective- nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors and therefore nobody should jump to conclusions- have been through it so I know what I am talking about! Great performance on Friday- keep it up!
I knew about this ages a go.... Who cares.. It all part and parcel of life... Football is what matters !
I saw it after seeing the comment on leeds own site. I was thinking he had resigned or sumat. Who cares its nothing to do with us and especially not a paper related to the news of the world. The want to look at themselfs before they start talking about sleeze and shame. They must all be still married to their childhood sweethearts in that so called paper
