Adryan apparently close to signing for us confirmed on twitter

Believable61 Unbelievable36

Hope this one comes off. Aggard's missed his big chance, he'll regret this. Maybe he thourght, I can't make this step up, I ain't good enough. Stick to rotherham or bristol city, ghey both deserve you, your crap mate. Bring on adryan

Agree1 Disagree3

I think he will find it hard to settle hear in england hope iam wrong

With the lack of width we have at the moment it could be possible we play 5-3-2 with Byram & Taylor wing backs who both have the legs to do it, I say this because we have showed no interest to sign an out and out winger all pre season? Ajose, Agard, Dakarra, are not natural wingers but could all do a job out there, Agard thought he was to good for us obviously, big big mistake by him, so if we do get Adryan it leaves Biannci and one more out of Austin, Murphy, tonge who are experienced and cook, mowatt, Dawson and the young lad on loan from Milan?who are not so? And hopefully just need to remove Kenny, Hunt, Morrison, Warnock, Norris off the wage bill add a few more and I don't think we will be far away tbh. MOT

Agree3 Disagree2

Obviously didn't see the game today mr bell, Warnock was MOM

Emanuele Giulianelli reporting leeds are in for either Patrick Bamford or Mirco Antenucci! Any one of those two would be good addition!

Believable31 Unbelievable22

Prefer Bamford tbh, but would also like some natural width please. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

Bamford all day long, scored regularly in this league before too.

Agree0 Disagree0

IF Emanuele was in the know surely he'd know which one we were interested in!! instead of saying either?

Phil hay twitter saying that Agard deal is off due to wage demand! Oh well!

Believable54 Unbelievable6

{Ed013's Note - Greedy git ;-)

Greedy get. He'll never get a better opportunity than this. Hope he drops down leagues now. Money grabber

Agree2 Disagree1

Love to know what wage deamand is, is it high or are we just tight, I can't see a footballer turning down a bigger club on better money unless we were taking the P@@S or unless there were other problems, I still fear many will not play for the hock. still need a few players but we are getting there. things will pick up in few weeks once hock gets his p45

Agree6 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Come on mate, Leeds have been hammered by greedy agents/players for years. Lets give Cellino's methods a go and see where Leeds get}

Bermondsey, why so down Hockaday and calling for his P45?
He might be as good as MC believes, and let's face it, he knows more than you and I!
The other option is to go back to the old method of not so good managers like we have for the past number of years, and that didn't work. Plus who is available we would want, could afford etc. They are generally available for a reason.
Give him a chance and get positive. I am!

Agree4 Disagree1

Ed13 did I not say yesterday as long as agard don't get too greedy it would go through,,,, he must got greedy maybe mc is flexing his muscle and go back in again as he's done with others. Well see silly boy could've been a cult fine like grades and more!

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Correct mate}

Quite amazed really, however without sounding 'sour grapes' he only ever had one good season, Yeovil released him only 2 years ago.

Agree3 Disagree0

Why would we want Agard if it means upsetting the pay structure set up. If he was only coming for the money good riddance. What it has to do with Hockaday I don't know, I suppose some peeps are going to blame him for everything, MOT

Agree4 Disagree0

Rather we didn't pay through the nose for players. least then you know that it's more about the football and the club then it is the money with the players that sign up

Agree3 Disagree0

It has nothing to do with "Pay", at the end of the day he did not fancy the move. Straight from horses mouth.

Agree0 Disagree5

WRover, don't think your horse and his agent are speaking the same language.
Agent says it was down to personal terms and they wanted more than the club wage structure would allow. Sounds like the horse is trying to save some dignity and it ain't working!

Agree3 Disagree0

15 Aug 2014 17:53:55
I urge everybody to get behind the 'Hock', he's a decent coach, that wants to get the boys to play proper football.
The Sheriff, despite all the doubter, is slowly, but surely doing the business @ Leeds & he chose the bloke, so we need to hang on in there.
Not expecting a massive win tomorrow, as the team will need to gel, but gel it will & we will start to progress quickly! MOT

Agree3 Disagree1

Let's see where we are in let's say january?

Agree4 Disagree0

WRover
He didn't fancy the move?
He travelled to ER to tell MC he didn't fancy it! Why didn't he ring him and tell him he wasn't bothered?

Agree2 Disagree0

Wow I got slated here. Just want to say I like MC and believe in him and think he will do well. why track record suggests that. Not saying we should give in demands and right we was raped by greedy players and would rather lose players than get another seth johnson. Just saying I would be interested to see the demands and see how out landish they are. We have lost some good players who have been close to signing, might cost us but it might be nessacary. Why am I down on the Hock. are you mental or daft? Look at his record at forest green. biggest budget and nearly religated four years running in none league. Then I saw us play at millwall. one loss yes but it was how we lost and how basic 10 year old stuff was neglected and how pro footballers looked like strangers no game plan or clue. you do not get to 56 and do what hock has/hasnt done with out being very poor fact. Hock is a joke and I know you will all agree. his comments after games are clueless and players have left/no signed because of the hock (that is a fact) so how you can give hock a chance. he had his chance at forest green and blew it. MC I like and turst hock can do one and not a day too soon. Agree with not giving in to greedy demands just wonder how greedy/resonable they are is all i'm saying. Everyone is allowed an opinion but facts are facts Hock is poor just hasn't been here long enough to be poor yet. give it five games starting with defeat tomorrow. I predict we will not win league game under hock

Agree1 Disagree2

bermonsey white? start backing the team and leave the COACH alone give him a chance, if you think MC is taking us to the promised land go with his decisions and who he employs instead of creating negativity, everyone has opinions but to start calling for heads after 1 game "please" I give you no credibility

Agree2 Disagree1

How can you give me no credibility give me a chance. oh wait that's my point you go with gut feelings. I also unlike you have a track record to go by, the guys record and comments and team selection and team performances are a joke. ask any forest green fan (spoke to one who said he laughed so hard when hockaday got leeds job his nose bled) you say give him a chance he has a c.v. he has a record that is what I am going on. If we had mourino as coach I would be very happy why because of record and rep. I am really angry this joke is our manager and will contiune to be dissapointed until he wins me round. a good manager would have to disapoint me hock a bad manager has to win me round. I am not sayin I don't like his face I am saying I don't like his record and everything he has done so far has made me right not wrong. Am I the only leeds fan ashamed of hockaday?

Agree1 Disagree0

And I was calling for hock to be sacked the moment I googled him and read forest green fans reaction I didn't need to give him one game. I knew within about one hour. hope I am wrong but if i'm right I will say I did call it. let's see tomorrow after our live game which they tried to call off (great optomisim from MC hire a guy then try and get game called off tv so people can not see how bad he is) Hock is the fall guy MC's pasty. the next manger will show MC's true vision for club because I am sure it is not the worse non-league manager he could find. MC did well in Italy and must know that is not the way forward

Agree1 Disagree0

Billy Sharp (ex premier player and proven goal scorer in championship) has happily signed to play under Hockaday, so it's rubbish to suggest that Agard won't come because of Hockaday.

Let's not forget which proven manager signed Hunt, Wooton etc and was in charge when we were been thrashed by Wednesday and Forest.

Agree0 Disagree0

can't personally make my mind up with hock - but got to give the guy a chance. He might be poor in interviews - he has no experience of them. yes basics were a concern last week, but the guy is trying to get Leeds playing football again. Poor pre season opposition and late additions hasn't helped, but given a few weeks we could be useful. I was not looking forward to the game, but sharp, cooper and belluci have helped perk me up. Bring it on . LLL

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact is we are still putting a team together. Some of the players never played in front of English fans. We all know Millwall is an intimidating place to play and Hock played it safe by putting out players who have played in championship, probably wishes he had not now. Doukara played and it was an eye opener for him, froze a bit. We can't judge anyone on first five or six games as new players will still be coming in and have to get used to each other. If we get to November and we are still playing crap and Hunt or Morrisons still leading the line I will be calling for his head but right now I am willing to give him the chance. Massimo is no fool and if people were not given a chance we would have no Mourhinos or Ancellotis and Saurez would be still at home biting the heads of pigeons. I fully support Leeds United because that is what we are famous for being United. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

And as I keep saying hock has had a big chance and many years as forest green he was just really really poor. I'd leave hock alone if he was 35 not late 50's. all good managers come into the game early and make their rep, these people I like, hock had that chance and failed he should be stacking shelves in supermarket. not a posh one either

Agree0 Disagree0

So forest green had the best players in their league did they and the hock played it all wrong, don't think so. let's see what he can do with decent players, this is his big chance. And if he messes up he goes, it does not help the team if we are trying to get him sacked before the season starts. Granted he is not my ideal choice but he is here and I am behind him because he is part of our club. If we had a big name it does not guarantee success, its down to the team once they are on the pitch, and I am thinking we are like a team at last. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Bermondsey, you're being too harsh on Hock. Does he owe you money? We are Leeds- support him until his position is untenable. You never know, he may well surprise everyone. Incidentally, how did the great Don do when he first began?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hock had four years and biggest budget so he should of had best players in the league if not why not. Maybe I am being harsh just don't see how he got the job and he has a liberty for taking it. maybe it is a london thing as millwall wanted lomas out and on first day had a big banner saying f@@k off lomas. and west ham never happy with sam aladice (who I think is great). we all get on hunts back (rightly so) but hunt is not picking himself. really think hock is the worse thing to happen to leeds since black death hope I am wrong but pretty sure I am not. sorry it is maybe harsh maybe I should give him time but he really really makes me angry. I wouldn't mind if he owed me money i'd let that go. but don't take the p@ss out of my club and make them a laughing stock

Agree0 Disagree0

Respect your opinion mate, I know nothing about Hock.but he is at Leeds and I respect everything Maassimo has done for the club so far and if he has got it wrong he will be the first to do something about it. Just saying it does no good booing him this early in the season, bound to affect team as well. Marching on together

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not saying boo him during the game just saying if not happy let it be known at end of the game or on here or with banners. always get behind team when playing

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres your league win.

Played for the shirt today. Warnock! Wow.

Agree0 Disagree0

" I predict we will not win league game under hock

Bermondsey White"

you were saying .

Agree0 Disagree0

I did predict that. think many who went millwall did. still very pleased to say I was wrong. still long way to go, still don't think hock should of got job, still much better this week and may I be proved wrong every week. this is a leeds fan site yeah? people do know I support leeds just think millwall was a disgrace and hock with his c.v. should of got knowhere near the job. slowly proving me wrong which is good. although AL staffordwhite we was a bad reffering decsion for going 1-0 down if the ref got it right what might of happened? we wasnt great today people acting like we are barac and my prediction was a mile off

Agree0 Disagree0

Din't think it was a bad decision, the lad nearly kicked Warnock's head of! Anyways, 3 points on the board and, IMHO, many more to come. The jury is still out on Mr H but I think he'll come good.

Agard deal apparently off cellino didn't like his attitude or this is all mind games from the mighty cellino well I hope so anyway MOT

Nicola Salerno confirms the interest for Mirco Antenucci, : "Yes, we hope to get him".

Believable23 Unbelievable5

Wish we had agard for tmoros game though that would have given us a good boost

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope we do because Agard won't be joining. Cellino has just said that the deal is off as he was asking for too much in wages and didn't like his attitude.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not good enough IMO. Scoring record is very average.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but its better than hunts and morrisons

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point of paying for a 30 year old that is unproven at this level. I would much prefer some one like Devante Cole from man city's under 21 squad tbh
He can play out wide or up front exactly what we need

Matt Smith just been offered a new contract with LUFC

Believable29 Unbelievable1

15 Aug 2014 11:43:39
Yeah just read that on newsnow, personally I'm very happy with that.

Agree2 Disagree0

Good - lots of people said we would have been relegated with RMc goals but Smith played his part as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2014 12:53:42
Really good if that is true. We need to keep hold of Smithy. Get rid of Hunt and morison though!!

LIfelongleedsfan

Agree1 Disagree0

Glad about that, he gives us options and played his part last season. I think he can improve as well. Quite optimistic about this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally, I really rate Smith, he may not be good with his feet but that's acceptable considering he wasn't really brought up through any youth system. Hopefully we got another Rickie Lambert on our hands.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2014 15:32:45
I can't understand anyone rating Smith he's a right donkey. No pace, can't jump, shat on the floor. Worst player in a Leeds shirt bar Nol Hunt!

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed013's Note - 13 goals in his first season suggests otherwise Plum}

Plum, so you rate Rachubka higher than Smith?

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith is purely a plan B. I woulda preferred us to have signed Agard today than keep Smith

Reports around MC asked Sky not to show LUFC V Boro as he was unsure we would be good enough 2nd match in.

Ofc they said no to his request. I personally think this could be a great game for us. can't wait to see the team sheet. All we need is just a little luck to build some confidence from the beginning and if the team is the strongest it should be (no hunt, warnock morison) tomorrow may be our defining moment when we gel as a team and play great football.

Or we get hammered 5-0 lol

Believable8 Unbelievable32

15 Aug 2014 08:42:07
Bringing in these players so far has been beyond my expectation. The press keep trying to make out that MC is a crook and boy has he shown his intent! Being a bit real it will take a few weeks for the players to get to know each other and each playing style. Players like to recieve the ball and make runs that are individual to them and this takes time to understand. The good news is they are quality and it will come in time. If people on the outside didn't know the history we have suffered they would think that we are creating a team to go PL this season! How flipping exciting. I know we will all get behind them and we need to show patience. MOT

What a load of cobblers

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - It is true Chris}

Can't understand why everyone is saying unbelievable because I have seen this on twitter from quite a few reliable sources such as Simon Austin

Agree1 Disagree0

Christox, what have Northampton Town got to do with anything?

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Aug 2014 10:46:12
This was probably when sky's live schedule first came out, not long after the fixtures came out and was rightly so a little bit worried, but with this weeks signings he should be a little more confident against an improving boro side, hopefully no warnock or wooton or hunt or Morrison. Doukarra, sharpe, ajose up top(pace power poaching) bianchi cook tonge in the middle(tonge not one of my favourites but had a good start to season) all these three can pick a pass rather than murthy and Austin(headless chickens) Taylor Byram full backs pushing on helping out the midfield and fit/quick enough to cover the two centre backs Pearce for the time being and cooper, both left footed but cooper looks more assured, Pearce 100% but very very slow, so when the warrior gets clearance he needs to up his game or it's goodnight Vienna. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't agree more Bristol, even though D H would not be coach if I had any thing to do with it .
I hope D h uses his head and leave out the above, I think Hunt should be loaned out or he's hoping part of the Akard deal .

Stephen Warnock MOM he is the best defender LUFC have at the moment, might not be the best passer or crosser of a ball but give the guy some credit for his defensive effort
