matt connolly from qpr on way to leeds expected to be in early next week according to a qpr fan site.be a good signing would connolly as he was a rock in qprs title winning season next to kaspers gorkks and in front of the other leeds target P Kenny.anybody heard anything on this Connolly rumour?im prayin its true.

Plans to sign kenny, Norris, and Hill and expext to see movement in n out of ER next Week...

I know its paper talk.. Noone knows the truth but i still remain optimistic we will have a squad quality enough to be challenging next season.. In NW we should believe.. He is a magician in this league

I am a big leeds fan i am also good friends with neil warnock i was on the phone to him last nite and i so happened to ask what was goin on about the takeover he said that he could not talk about about anything about the deal part from the club have had 15 different bids and hopes if everything does to plan the deal will be done by end off june then i asked him about aidy white he has had our final contract offer on the table less then what he wanted and will sit down with him tomorrow to see if he will take it witch he dont think he will and said he has busy week coming cant wait to get started steve

So again nothing new here - NW is going to be busy, which is surprising since he's been away for two weeks and now trying to put a team together. I would have thought he would come back and put his feet up on his desk at ER and have a rest !

just seen jason pearce at harewood house, he was with his family. i shook his hand and told him how much youd love it at leeds. He said Warnock is not going anywhere he is just as excited as he is for the season! i also asked about the takeover situation but he replied 'watch this space!'

This is just what I've heard and might happen after the takeover but apparently Neil Warnock is interested in Doncaster midfielder Simon Gillett and QPR defender Matthew Connolly. Only a rumour though.

Please once and for all there will be no takeover, investment maybe takeover no.

My mate knows green he wants to join Leeds but he's had no contact with any club as yet he says clubs probably waiting till after euros just in case of injuries etc

The way paul green played last night for ireland(and keith andrews)not sure they're good enough for us.

With what I saw of him playing for Ireland last night I hope this guy can do something special on a consistemt basis because I wasnt impressed...mind you what do I know ?

My mum and dad are currently on holiday with Ronnie Jepson and his wife and he said to my dad that Neil Warnock will not walk away from the club and that exciting new developments are in the pipeline so who knows what that means!

Takeover is off. Look at all the evidence. Decisions around pricing for next season all working. Ken and Neil meeting in Monaco. It's not happening. {Ed013's Note - The OS site only ever said investment}

Takeover may be part of a long term deal with initial investment allowing progress in terms of ongoing capital. The investment may also involve a number of shares being owned by the investors.
And before anyone say's capital to spend on hotels and casinos both of these will be built with developers money not LUFC.

This means nothing. QPR set their prices last season then when the new owners came in just before start of the season they reduced the prices.

Bates can still set ticket prices for next season, it doesn't mean anything. If nothing is official yet he'd have to get the ball rolling just in case.

I don't see any investors working with an octogenarian who is one instance of football insolvency away from failing the fit and proper persons test, known for his compulsive slanderous outbursts, at loggerheads with fans and anyone who disagrees with him, and runs the club as tyrannical despot.

Let's face it - any potential investor would likely question whether Bates has any business acumen whatsoever. Look at the new Premier League TV deal and what the clubs will make from that. Bates seems to believe a hotel will allow us to compete. Well, the entire Hilton Hotel chain makes about $100m per year. Laughable.

Investment is quite a vague word- is a takeover an investment into a football club?
Just thinking that's all- we all know Leeds utd are vague about everything since bates in control

Warnock sounds happy enough on the Leeds OS with regards to the first game against Shrewsbury in the Cup. The good points here are that the press release is current as the draw has only just happened and that he must be happy with whatever is going on behind the scenes to say what he does, so maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel MOT

I do not want to pi$$ on anybodys bonfire but we do not know for certain if nw is walking or staying.
look at the rumours about redknapp.
nw as manger, will continue to be shown on our website as "doing" his whether or not he has decided to resign/walk. up until the announcement of his departure(for whatever reason) he will be shown on our website to be doing the job he is paid to do. up until then we do not really know!!

Interestingly, would Clayton staying be better than Warnock staying? If the takeover goes through and the club is armed with cash, surely new owners would want a longer term peospect than NW?

Firstly Colin is excited about new season in relation to cup draw etc, etc, but more worryingly the other states he is focusing on reshaping squad before start of season, and finishing as high as we can.... A rumour doing the round is that warnock is going to leave Leeds at the end of this week! I hope to god its not true
