Matt Kilgallon from Sunderland has been left at home whilst the rest of the team are on some jolly. Would be a good signing at centre half and already been linked.

Believable14 Unbelievable10

Would love to have him and Delph back....kevlufc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well as I'm no longer living in the town I come from, I can't ask his dad, but I do know when speaking with his dad, Matt never wanted to leave, and ANY possible chance to return he will, it's just down to the manager in charge to take him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been left behind due to an injury allegedly.
paul.mot

Agree0 Disagree0

Left behind because he's injured... not unwanted!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the first replyer. Delph came back on loan and said he hated every minute of it. Once lads move up they think there to big for the club. We will be laughing at that no mark when we go up and finish above them.

Went for a meal last night and spoke
To a guy who works at Elland Road
And knows a guy on the board and he
Says keep this to yourselfs but it looks
As if a massive injection of cash is on it's
Way good luck NW spend wisely and
Take us back where we belong and deserve
To be #ontheQT

Believable14 Unbelievable20

Won't be telling you any secrets then.
But I doubt very much anything was actually said, in fact I doubt very you actually spoke to anyone.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

If a massive injection of cash was coming, why would we be signing all these free transfers. Warnock said himself the new owners would run a tight ship

Agree0 Disagree0

We are buying these low priced players or getting frees because nw is building a new squad, and the signings he has made will do a good job but when the money comes in from the takeover then we will see money spent on first team regulars happy days
welshleeds

Agree0 Disagree0

No he didnt he just said he was going to sign sensible players, even if we had deepest pockets in football would be stupid to do a man city in championship. a massive injection to me is around the 5 mill mark which would buy 3 quality players and if we can keep snoddy then weve cracked it

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah warnock did say that but i just cant believe who ever comes in are gunna be as tight as bates, at the end of the day you need to spend a few quid to compete at the top and possibly get in the prem, and these owner's who ever they are are not buying leeds to sit happily in the championship every year im quite sure they'll have money and be ambitious, and remember there from the middle east so there bound to have a few quid on them!
MOT Ben

Agree0 Disagree0

Yvonne Allen, Peter lorima, ken bates, Shaun Harvey. Which one of these board members does he know?

Agree0 Disagree0

What big money players would come to us at the moment? What we need is players good enough to get into the PL & some of them to play there. I guess transfer budget to get to promised land would be £5-8m & budget to stay there would be £30m & more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst i agree the above post is absolute tosh and Warnock did say the new owners will run a tight ship, he's hardly going to announce on Sky Sports that he has a shed full of money that he can spend how he wants is he, it would simply inflate the prices of his targets if everyone knows he has money to spend

Agree0 Disagree0

I know it says not to be rude to these people but COME ON. keep this to yourself but i am telling a complete stranger...i spoke to someone at a bank the other week and they gave me some good insider trading but asked me not to tell anyone...hang on that might happen

Agree0 Disagree0

NW doesn't need to spend big money to get us out of the Championship & even if he did theres a cap on how much he can spend due to new FL rules. Next pre season will see the real money come into frutition, when where building a squad for the Prem lge. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like a likely story, went for a meal and met a guy who knows a guy? #boring. Even if it was true, NW has said the investors wont be splashing the cash, and what's more you cant anyway with the financial rules on spending etc.

Alot of press reports around Norwich are stating we are in for Andrew Crofts.Anybody heard anything?anybody know anything about him as a player?

Believable13 Unbelievable10

I live about 10 miles away from Norwich, and the talk around here is Leon Barnett on his way to Leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah decent box to box midfielder about 26 i think

Readings QPR Michail antonio looks to be interested in joining leads as they are prepared to sell him for 800k for LUFC

Believable8 Unbelievable13

Reading, QPR, Leads. Bloody hell, what's the story here.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

And were exactly would we get £800k from, at that price, it's not happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be surprised if they let him go lots of promise maybe what we need def not the finished article but neil will know him better than i. sharky lufc

Warnock poised to make a double swoop for sk brann pair rodolph Austin and Kim ojo according to Norwegian newspaper reports

Believable13 Unbelievable11

Better not be Kim Ojo I bought him on Fifa and not for Leeds. :O

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep. saw this on yep today, supposedly good player, wonder if he will show up at ER?

Agree0 Disagree0

He looks to be prolific in the norwegian leagues, roughly 1 goal in 2 games! and only 23 years old, this might be the new yeboah! i for one would like to see more black players at leeds for pace and finishing!! markymafia

Apparently Leeds have offered a contract to free agent Buszacky.

Believable21 Unbelievable13

I would have thought a medical would come before a contract was offered.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope we get him! decent player at this level
MOT Ben

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope, they'd offer a contract and it will be finalised subject to a medical, should he accept it...

Dazz

Agree0 Disagree0

This is where Mr Warnock comes into play... Anyone know what the relationship between buszaky and Warnock was like?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only thing they might possibly offer him is a free trial....

... where did you get this info from?

Oh, I know, it was the milkman's next door neighbour's brother's aunty, yes?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they need to trial him he was at QPR under Warnock and played in prem last year so obviously our manager and infact most people know what he is like. Much more likely he has been offered a contract subject to medical as originally stated.

Green Austin:350,000
Snoddy Buzacky:FREE Varney:400,000
Becchio

Bench:
Thompson
Cranie:FREE

Believable10 Unbelievable18

Be very happy with that - then somma back on bench when ready for gray

Agree0 Disagree0

Aren't we back to seven on the bench this season? Or have I been dreaming it?
JB {Ed013's Note - Back to 7}

Agree0 Disagree0

Kissy needs to be used, it all went tits up last season after he went down.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Gray will get a contract, not good enough for this league and his age is hardly helping.

Back to 7 subs this season.

Dazz

Agree0 Disagree0

Would personally like to see Rodgers on the wing instead of Varney.

Leeds keeper Andy Lonergan could be set to complete a move to Bolton Wanderers this weekend for a fee in the region of 200k.
MOT
Source YEP.

Believable17 Unbelievable5

Rumours for a while that he's leaving. Seems to be a bit on the cheap side. Not a bad keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing against Cairns, but who have we got as backup keeper, if Kenny is injured and if Lonergan goes to Bolton. Surely we need a backup keeper of a similar calibre, no offence to Cairns, but Is he good enough??

Agree0 Disagree0

200K is a joke, he's worth at least 500K, but we will accept as we are desperate for funds
what gets me is How the hell hell have we got the funds to pay for a NEW FITNESS instructor and another background member ?? Gj {Ed013's Note - I agree, Lonners is worth more than 200k and we cant rely on Bromby as a reserve! I would keep Lonners for the sake of 200k}

Agree0 Disagree0

The fee of 200k was rejected....will command a fee of at least the 500k kenny cost and probably more....750k - 1m should be enough

Agree0 Disagree0

The 200k bid was rejected by Leeds as fee unacceptable. Will want at least double that i rekon.

NickW , MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sorry to see him go. He was a decent keeper. Good luck

Agree0 Disagree0

Should be atleast 1 mil he got 2 year contract left

Blackburn and Wolves have joined the £2.5million chase for Ross McCormack as they target an instant return to the Premier League.

Scotland international striker McCormack is already on the summer shopping list of Huddersfield, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Bristol City after snubbing a new deal with Leeds.

Now Rovers boss Steve Kean and Molineux chief Stale Solbakken will fight their Championship rivals for the in-demand hit-man's signature.

Kean has already brought veteran former Portugal marksman Nuno Gomes to Ewood Park from Braga, but still wants to add more firepower to his striking department.

Solbakken sees former Rangers ace McCormack,25, as the perfect foil for Steven Fletcher, who bagged 12 goals in 34 outings for Wolves last season.

McCormack, who cost £350,000 from Cardiff two years ago, still has a year left on his United contract and will not be allowed to leave Elland Road unless the Yorkshire outfit get the price they want.

But he has become a hot property after notching 19 goals last term, and Leeds boss Neil Warnock confirmed:"There have been enquiries from Ross from a number of clubs who are all keen to sign him.

"I am going to do what is best for Leeds United so, until something happens where I think my club benefits, Ross will continue training with us. And he understands the situation."

Mirror

Believable17 Unbelievable7

2.5 million would be really good business for Ross.

TeejLUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

£2.5m would be a good price, and given straight to Neil Warnock would allow him to complete his rumoured deals for Lee Peltier and Rodolph Austin, and perhaps Martin Cranie ... defence and defensive midfielder roles then resolved.

Agree0 Disagree0

2.5 million yes please! 4/5 quality signings with that dosh!

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can actually get £2.5m for him then thats fantastic! We could instantly bring in another 4-5 players with that
Peltier, Austin, Varney, Norris could all be signed with pabout £1.5m to spend on a top striker to replace Ross

Agree0 Disagree0

2.5 million? yes please, no way is he worth that much imo, one half decent season in the last 4 yrs.

Could really do something with that cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would snap there hands off for that money. Carn't believe there signing him because they want to go straight back up. We know they'll have to wait a season to get any return on that investment.
THERE BUYING TELE TUBBY,OOOOH,OOOOOW!!
mot4life

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of it being £2.5 million, no championship club would offer more than a million.

I have heard a rumour from a gentleman in harrogate this evening...whom deals with company transactions that the person who is buying Leeds united is based much closer to home than the rest of the u.k. Think.the person in question owns a very successful business in Yorkshire ,supposedly making his wealth in the motor trade...only a rumour could be a load of rubbish .

Believable5 Unbelievable27

Chris miller from leeds commercial vehicles? played for leeds as a schoolboy & his name was mentioned before around last xmas, was looking to invest so perhaps he is part of the consortium or perhaps sponsoring ER?

Agree0 Disagree0

You're probably right! It's a load of rubbish.
I wouldn't have bothered posting without a name. Perhaps it was Frank Butcher or maybe Arthur Daley.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't be Frank Butcher or Arthur Daly ... they're both "cockney bleeders" and don't even know where Yorkshire is.

Agree0 Disagree0

Frank and Arthur are to loveable as rogues to be involved with cockney Bates. Try the Mitchells!

a mates just came back from norway and he as said rodolph austin has been given the number six shirt at leeds utd

Believable10 Unbelievable15

Unfortunately that sounds like a load of bull....robbie rogers is no.6.....most likely he'd be no.4 freed up by alex bruce's departure

Agree0 Disagree0

Poster, your mates probably never left his hometown. Even if he had just come back from Norway, why would this be hot news there? I doubt it's made the back page of a local rag.
JB

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course as the whole of norway know the dealings of leeds....eric torvest former spurs keeper also stated leeds have signed varney, norris and dj campbell. norway better than sky sports news

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats funny, thought Robbie Rodgers was number 6...

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't be a bad shout if he was given the number 4 shirt ... next Bremner?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i dont care what number he is i just hope we get him, watched a video of him on youtube and he looks the business

Agree0 Disagree0

Itd be a big deal there because he was the player of the season in the Norweigian league...

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you will find thats robbie rogers' number

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps your mate bought him the shirt in the club shop and gave him it while he was there?
