George Mc Cartney is set to join Leeds on another season long loan deal after Steve Bruce told him he was surplus to requirements

Believable6 Unbelievable24

Bates would not have him back at this club after what he said also he said he could not hack playing that amount a game again

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe he upset Bates last year so cannot see him being welcome back at Leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance After bates ripped him in the yep there is no chance in the world either want to work together again More lies

Agree0 Disagree0

Can anyone else smell BS - The only signing less likely is Kewell

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance, hell will freeze ova first, Bates made that well clear..

Agree0 Disagree0

Very much doubt it< not after Bates slagged him off

Agree0 Disagree0

McCartney - not good enough - anyway who needs him with a fit (?) Parker and White available again?

Agree0 Disagree0

Did i miss this? what is this fued with mccartney and kb? ed? {Ed046's Note - they had a feud throughout the season.

All those people saying they seen stockdale in Scotland or saying stockdale in talks with Leeds then your wrong as he is on the bench for fulham tonight

Believable15 Unbelievable4

To be honest he did say on his Twitter account he would be in Ireland helping Fulham in tonights game

Agree0 Disagree0

He is not in scotland as he has been with fulham, however, fulham have contacted Leeds to say they would be willing to let Stockdale go out on a season long loan deal, therefore talks have happened but not between leeds and Stockdale himself, although he has stated on his twitter account he would love to help his home town team get back where they belong

Max Gradel to westham, Bates excepts 3.25million bid, to be completed by Tuesday.Bates claimed Gradel refused New contract.

Believable14 Unbelievable23

Gradel to West Ham makes financial sense, if he is not willing to pledge his long term future to Leeds. At 3.25 mil, take the money and strengthen the side. Lloyd Sam can fill the gap anyway- rate him highly if he can stay injury free.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of crap, our player of the year going for less than we have been offered for snods. no chance. why are you wasting your time putting crap like this on??

Agree0 Disagree0

Another load of john toshack. Leeds rejected 2.5 million. Wouldnt accept owt less than 5 million. Weve already proved we dont just ship players out in the last year of contracts. Look at what we did with beckford took the risk. Gradel wont leave leeds unless grayson dont want him

Agree0 Disagree0

Excepts? Excepts it from what? Or do you, perhaps, mean accepts?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel has already stated in interviews that he has so much to thank the club for and would only leave if he was no longer wanted, therefore if he has been offered a new contract showing that he is wanted, why would he leave?

Agree0 Disagree0

Really 3.25 for gradel? im not sure when bates has come out and said he is not selling our best players this would only bring more problems with the fans i for one would not be happy. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Please note that Gradel has still not re-signed with us. If he doesnt then it makes finiancial sense to accept the bid with only 12 months left on contract. I hope he re-signs but if not Nunez may have a chance to shine. We have alot of depth on the flanks

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel hasn't been offered a new contract by Leeds, there hasn't been anything for him to reject. He wont be offered a new contract until the end of the transfer window in the hope that a decent bid will be made for him then allowing bates and grayson to blurt out the usual "too good to turn down, player in the last year of contract etc etc etc"
Leeds will sell (really poor decision) but make no mistake Gradel will not be at ER by the time the transfer window closes. Will the fee we get be reinvested in the first team squad - easy answer to that, anybody remember Fabian Delph
If Leeds want to keep Gradel offer him a new contract and if he turns it dow then fair enough if he is moved on. To not offer him a new deal whilst saying you dont want him to leave is just not good enough - the usual bates and grayson spin.

Agree0 Disagree0

That amount of cash for him is a joke He was class last season, i cant see him leaving. Yes we strength and depth on thw wings but max has a edge that no other player has in that position. Sod the money Get promoted

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he ever want 2 go 2 westham leeds are a way bigger club

Agree0 Disagree0

Because Leeds have no ambition, can't attract players, can't afford players and will struggle next season. Big club - gimme a break your delluded and living in the past. Quite frankly your opinion of your club is boring everyone else now. Say bye to Gradel for me will ya

Agree0 Disagree0

To the Hammers fan - at least we don't have huge debts - if you don't go up this year you'll be in free fall - owners taking a big gamble splashing the cash in the hope of promotion. Max too good for Hammers, if he goes would prefer to see him go to Lille

Bradley Wright Phillips to Leeds undisclosed fee

Believable14 Unbelievable23

Haha why on earth? We have Gradel snodgrass, Nunez and Sam No need for average attacking wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

He only just signed for charlton in january, so i doubt it very much, plus he's not good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Bradley Wright Phillips is a striker not a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

He is worse than average and living on family name. MOT

Leeds have rejected a 2.5 mil bid from wesr ham for Gradel
source: yorkshire even post

Believable18 Unbelievable14

Why would we sell our second best striker to West Ham??

If we do, it has to be a 10 million plus offer?????

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel is a winger mcormack is our best striker then becchio and 10 mill + is ridiculous 5 mil max then we sould sell

Leeds United to sign Will Godsell as new cheif scout in non-league football, he has worked For Grayson before at Blackpool, and is hoped that he will find cheapm young talent, like Beckford and Becchio

Believable10 Unbelievable13

We only just took on Meryn Day as Chief Scout and invested in a scouting network at his behest.
So, sorry i ain't buying it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yeah, that Becchio who we found in non-league football . . . NOT. Impressive knowledge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Day is the chief scout was poorly wored poor phrasing from me, but Godsell will allow him to concentrate on overseas ( like the german and scandanvian leagues) and league 1 and 2 for young quality to build a great long lasting side, sorry the knowledge isn't greatbut that was used as an example of finding a player that is a hidden gem, Like the signing of Becchio was,

I wish will Godsell all the best in finding talent and I think you two will agree when Leeds are back in premiership, also looking for hidden gems is more likely than bates paying more than a 6 figure some for player regulary

Leeds will sign Eremenko from Metalist Kharkiv they have cut the asking price from £1m to £300k. He was on loan as Kilmarnock last season very good player, finland international.

Source: Scottish Daily Record

Believable16 Unbelievable15

Nothing on the daily record website to say that this is true. {Ed007's Note - He is reported to be flying in to Scotland to meet up with the Leeds squad and will play as a trialist against Motherwell on Saturday}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cardiff City are ahead of us with this one and have contacted him already (source: the player himself). He's also linked with a move to Dubai which prices Leeds out of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been watching some of his play on tube, looks to be comfortable on the ball with a quality few goals. attacking midfielder and playmaker, interesting, hope we get him MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Nominee for top player in Scotland last season - he would be a quality signing so fingers crossed

ITS OFFICIAL: Just had a text from the OS smith has returned to Leeds united on a 2 year deal

Believable13 Unbelievable25

Why would the official site send out texts before actually putting in on the official site...doesn't seem right to me

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see what the obsession with smith is, HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE, get over it, i don't have anything against the guy but he will NEVER return to leeds, he is greedy and injury prone and a shadow of the player he is, we need new blood, build for the future, not live in the past with likes of smith, i'm glad bowyer and woody didn't come back ether, onwards and upwards with fresh faces.

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt that KB / SG would commit to a 2yr deal baring in mind the doubts around fitness and that NUFC would only be contributing to the wage for 1 more year. Rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Quite simply I dont think he is good enough...no better than what we already have. Miles off Howson and not as good footballer as Clayton or Nunez. Half decent squad player but won't push us up to the prem The championship is gonna be very competitive this year

Agree0 Disagree0

This is complete bull **** i get the offical text alerts and i havent recieved one

Agree0 Disagree0

Enough of the Smith thing, why do you get notifications from the OS...don't know of anyone else that get's this special treatment??

Agree0 Disagree0

Im glad that the vast majority of fans realise that getting Smith back is not the answer. lets look at what we have- Clayton and Nunez were deemed good enough to sign last year so why not give them a chance to prove it.

This Its get sad and pathetic now
The lies and desperation are never ending you should all be ashamed to call yourself whites

Agree0 Disagree0

I really want this to be true. I've been waiting ever since he left, the boy didn't want to go

Agree0 Disagree0

No one else seems to have heard anything? and theres no mention on the offical site?

Agree0 Disagree0

RE: Enough of the Smith thing, why do you get notifications from the OS...don't know of anyone else that get's this special treatment?

I too get the texts with news, its a subscription service. However, I did not receive any such texts

Agree0 Disagree0

Alan smith is a disloyal money grabbing scummer , not fit to wear the leeds shirt

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people say that Smith isnt good enough anymore :S these people are clearly narrow minded and have no sense of footballing ability. For one he only went to Man Utd as they where the biggest club that came in for him. Secondly Smudger was an integral part of Newcastles successful championship season. Why wouldnt we want a player that has been in this division and led a team out of it. I know people will state the championship team that Newcastle had where premiership bound regardless, however we do have a good team and maybe with know how from players such as Brown and Smith it will be the decisive factor in pushing us towards promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith would be one of the best players we have this year. Stop hating, and think about getting leeds back up you fools

Agree0 Disagree0

Smithy would be great i know his family and trust me he didn't want to leave ridsdale sold him he's the villan

Agree0 Disagree0

Alan smith is a disloyal money grabbing scummer , not fit to wear the leeds shirt
Hera hear
lets see if he puts his love ohe the club before his wages, what ya gonna say when he goes to another NPC team?

Agree0 Disagree0

Now we have Bron he will not improve the squad. Why should we waste money on his wages. Prefer someon who will improve us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds manager Simon Grayson says he was not "over impressed" by Alan Smith's lack of motivation to join Leeds by saying he will not take a penny less than his deal at Newcastle.

Grayson admitted recently that filling the centre of his midfield was a priority for the club after Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny his partnership for most of last season left Elland Road on free transfers.
United filled one vacancy by landing former Portsmouth and Sheffield United player Michael Brown on a one-year deal on Monday but Grayson is continuing to search for further recruits with the start of the Championship season on the horizon.
Smith s mooted return to Leeds United looks increasingly doubtful with the Newcastle midfielder no closer to completing a transfer to Elland Road.
Rumours that Smith was on the verge of leaving Newcastle United for Elland Road circulated on Tuesday after one prominent bookmaker slashed the odds on the move taking place.
But Leeds are understood to be no closer signing him as they were when the transfer window opened.
The Championship club have expressed a firm interest in the 30-year-old but the task of prising him away from St James Park was always riddled with complications.
Smith is earning in the region of £55,000 a week and has one year remaining on his contract on Tyneside.
Newcastle are ready to release him on a free transfer but the player is believed to be unwilling to accept any deal which forces him to take a wage cut.
The former England international would receive a vastly decreased wage at Elland Road, though Newcastle are said to be contemplating funding a portion of the salary owed to him next season to facilitate a transfer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Official- he isnt returning Grayson no longer wants him hes greedy and lacks enthusiasm to return.

Leeds likely to sell Gradel as he only has a year left on his contract, and doesn't look like he will sign a new one(same as kasper)Be a big loss for us

Believable19 Unbelievable18

How can he sign a new contract when the club have not offered him one?

Agree0 Disagree0

Does any1 on here actually support leeds? gradel has stated a million times if leeds offer him a new contract he will sign it. he believes he owes the clubs and fans after the bristol rovers game.... he also said he loves leeds and doesnt want to leave unless the club want to sell him....

Agree0 Disagree0

Again this is paper talk that he won't sign a new deal my advice is take the paper talk with a huge pinch of salt. I have heard it from various people that kaspers ego was way too big for how good he thought he was so that could've factored into his sale too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said above, he has stated on the official site and in interviews he loves Leeds wants to repay the faith shown in him by SG after he was a moody rough round the edges player from Leicester, and that RED card.
He would defo stay another season at least to try and get the mighty whites promoted...why go to West Ham in the same division...and more to the point if we let Beckford run down his contract then we certainly should Max....he was unplayable at times last season

Agree0 Disagree0

He also told Alan Birchell in an interview a month ago that he would be happy to play for LCFC again...now this wont happen but just goes to show that not everything is as black and white as you think, i.e. gradel loves leeds - not 100% correct

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds are currently negotiating the final touches of a 2 year extension to Gradels contract and expect it completed by the end of the month it has a built in release clause that will only trigger a transfer if its a PL or European club and that they meet the clubs valuation around £ 4 million. Source is at the club and has been involved in drafting the terms between agent and club

LUFC turn down West Hams 2m bid for Gradel but don't expect him sign a contract extension so may accept 3m.
Source YEP.

Believable11 Unbelievable16

3M is total nonsense...play maker, many assists, dangerous all round skilled player, not to mention 18 league goals It would be suicide to get rid of Gradel unless pure quality was lined up to replace him, which im sure it isn't Jobi McAnuff or Wayne Routledge would only be acceptable similar players in the same league.
P.S watch out for Lloyd Sam this season gonna be a whole new player

Midfielder Jonathan Greening is set for a £600,000 switch from Fulham to Nottingham Forest. (Today's Sun)

Another potential decent target missed, Uncle Ken wouldn't pay this much.

Believable11 Unbelievable11

Was he ever a target? Stop taking gossip as gospel

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a perfect replacement for Kilkenny - Good passer of the ball but better all round game. If we don't go for him I hope he doesn't turn up for another Championship side

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person that said "Was he ever a target? Stop taking gossip as gospel"

In the posters defence, he said potential target and this is a RUMOUR site not a factual one

Agree0 Disagree0

Whispers around his hometown (Scarborough) are that he would prefer Leeds to forest. so lets wait and see.

Shay Given going to Leeds on loan with a call back clause because Man City refuse to sell him.

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Where on earth did you read this? or are you talking sh1te? i presume the latter

Agree0 Disagree0

Total fabrication...never been a target and he certainly won't be in the championship next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Given is in talks with Aston Villa. Expected to be confirmed by the end of the week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter rubbish he would not go to the championship he earns 80,000k a week leeds wage budget 20k i dont think so mate

Agree0 Disagree0

The reply above is a pointless one as Man City would have paid the wages, however, this aint going to happen, he wants a permanent move and thats to Villa

Agree0 Disagree0

Man City dont refuse to sell him cos they have just accepted an offer from the villa anyway hope deal for JERZY y be still on although s**t it will be fun to have him for a year, if we can pay wages he wants (got to be lowered if from REAL MADRID, on free)

Morning Leeds fans do you think we should get Stephen Quinn strong link in the yorkshire post i've seen this lad a lot of times over the years from making his debut in the premiership, wouldn't cost much money to get him because Sheff Utd need rid think he is top draw better than johnson we should get Montgomery also then we would be very strong in the midfield area and give are back four much needed protection something they never got last season

Believable6 Unbelievable7

We have michael brown a premiership version of montgomery.

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes a lot of sense as he is a good player likely to want to play at a higher level and should be available within KB price and wage range. Only problem might be that he will earn more staying at the Blunts.

Agree0 Disagree0

I like quinn n monty but look at the facts... 2 of their midfiled 4 last seaon that was in a relegated team... didnt create enough chances for the strkiers and didnt help a shocking defence... would they be that good?

Two very good players surrounded by a load of crap

Apparently a statue of Ken Bates is to be erected by the side of Billy Bremner, after the man saved Leeds United. Click believable if you agree that the man was a saviour and a hero to the club. Click unbelievable if you can't stand the old man.

Believable27 Unbelievable31

Maybe in a few years when we are back in the champions league

I agree he saved the club in the terms of financial ruin, but i don't think he can ever be called a hero in my book, he's just a businessman, simple as.

on tonights performance central defence needs strengthening. not sure that paddy is up to the job. i know its early days for him and he can still time a challenge well, but he looks a shadow of the player he was. falkirk centre back rhys bennett had paynter in his pocket all first half. seems a bit rough round the edges but would be a good player for obrien to nurture. has pace as well. {Ed015's Note - its the 1st game back..... its not about proformance just yet, they need to get back to fitness, SG will be more bothered about how they play next week}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

The game last night was only a training session it was only basics m8

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip dude. Paddy ain't up to it no more are you insane. And seen as it was the first game back with a few young players in team it was a good win for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was also a clean sheet Our shakey defence let in no goals.

When we concede some stupid goals, thats when we start worrying give it time...

Agree0 Disagree0

Look - the original poster appears to have been the only one who has seen the match. He made an interpretation of Kissy's performance - if you want to bury your heads in the sand and simply ignore it then fine - but dont spout of that its rubbish. Because i have to agree with him after watching it - and im gutted about it

Agree0 Disagree0

Your dead right why not get rid of the whole team bar soddy and nunez and if they dont do the biz next match get rid of them too lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Same old Leeds fans once a player has a bad game u think it is end of the world get a grip and just wait to see what happens. Paddy has not played for 13 months he got plenty games left to show us what we been missing now get off his back and other players backs and get behind them judge the players when we are playing in the league.

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to Leeds fans that get behind their clubs players no matter what, one pre-season game where someone who has been out for 13 months isn't as sharp yet and the s**t hits the fan, if you a true fan, get real

Agree0 Disagree0

Nunez, howsen and snoddy were the stand out players for me. Still lacking pace at the back but I wasn't disappointed with the performance. Motherwell on Saturday will be a much tougher test Mot

Alan Smith if you do read this, plz plz sign for our much loved club, hand on heart there must be 80%+ who would have you back tmoz, theres a small minority of morons who do all the shouting about you, and dont let go that you went to SCUM, The truth is you had no choice, thats what i believe anyway, things happen we as fans dont like but we get over em, to me you will always be LEEDS UTD.....M.O.T

Believable23 Unbelievable11

Think you'll find 80%++++ DO NOT want him back. mot (without smith)

Agree0 Disagree0

Plz, plz?? Get a life mate. How sad do you sound begging him to come back? He is a has been.........

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree. Forget the past, and bring on the future - hopefully with Smithy back where he belongs. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

HE'S A BUM & WALKED OUT ON LEEDS WHEN WE NEEDED IM THE MOST A TRUE LEEDS FAN WOULDNT WALK, I KNOW I WOULDNT. WOULD YOU? ALL TO GO HIDE IN A CHANGING ROOM AT OLD TRAFFORD SHAME ON EVERYONE FOR EVEN LINKING HIM AND SHAME ON HIM EVEN CONSIDERING COMING BACK.... NOT WELCOME M-O-T

Agree0 Disagree0

80%+ do not want him back? What utter garbage. I suggest you check the fan sites and forums, because you are talking rubbish. Every single anti-Smudge comment I have read either focuses on him being a 'has-been', his recent goal scoring record or the fact he signed for they who shall not be named.. 1. He is no has-been. It was only a year ago he was key in Newcastles promotion. 2. He is not a striker any more, move with the times people 3. He helped save the club by doing what he did. What did YOU do during those times? No doubt whined and moaned and completely failed to sacrifice over £500k of your own personal money to help out.....
Smith is LUFC to the bone, he always has been and always will be. 80%+ of people would LOVE to see him back where he belongs. I'll let you into a little secret folks. Having strong feelings, shouting about them and belittling those who disagree with you does not mean that most people accept your views. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that stopped working after high school.

Agree0 Disagree0

To whoever called him a bum, what would you do then? stay and watch as your team died, while still picking up your pay packet. smith never wanted to go to scum, he did what he had to to help the club. GET A GRIP

Agree0 Disagree0

Hear hear no need for bully boy tactics we don't all have to agree to be a Lufc fan

Agree0 Disagree0

I have nothing against Smith, but I really don't want Leeds to sign him as I think he's just simply not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

A small minority of morons who do all the shouting about you, and dont let go that you went to SCUM,
Your calling fellow whites morons>>>> You ceratinly aint no true fan of Leeds. We put Leeds and the fans first not one mercenary player thats past his sell by date
As for the Scum connection why dont you get that 90% of the fans in disagreement over a return dont rate him as a PLAYER anymore. Keep obsessing all you like your just smitten and its pathetic. As for YOU calling them Scum, judging by your comments why do you even call them that????

Agree0 Disagree0

Forum polls are sort out by those that are most interested in finding info on smith potentially returning therefore they are more likely to be in favour of him coming back to Leeds Are you really that thick? He has put in a decent 6 months in his 4 Years he's been a SJP, dont make out he was integral to their promotion because he wasnt he was their cheerleader and nothing more. The games Smith plays in with Newcastle are the games they tend to loose....Ask any geordie fan He shys away from the ball running around like a headless chicken, hes scared to pick up another serious injury by going in hard, that was the only decent bit about his game because lets face it he isnt skilled Hes not only a has been interms of physical injuries but his heads also gone, the lad is a crock and a has-been, accept it or not I dont give a s**t. And his goal scoring record, yes hes become a mediocre midfielder your correct however being an ex striker youd think he'd have put a few away particularly when involved in corners and free kicks etc. Other midfielders have scored more than him, thats a lame excuse girly. He saved the club lol, no he extended our financial callapse by a few months hardly saving our club. As for what did WE do as fans, Stuck round when we went to the dogs and continued to pay over priced ST's when we struggled to affor them. WE ARE LEEDS, not players my sweet The money was a LOYALTY bonus that he left, he wasnt entitled to it he said PUBLICLY the only club he'd moved to was Man U therefore preventing any further bids being made Smith is LUFC to the bone lol yeah when we were at are worst he refused to return to us on loan and opted to play for Man U reserves lol oh yeah hes really Leeds to the bone. 80% your so funny, just look on here and you'll lee your mistaken. lol claiming were bullies now (are you a immature) because we dont agree with YOUR views, oh my what a hypocrite. We are also entitled to OUR opinions Girly, so rather than whinging and getting personal with us you also need to accept those opposing opinions

Agree0 Disagree0

To whoever called him a bum, what would you do then? stay and watch as your team died, while still picking up your pay packet. smith never wanted to go to scum, he did what he had to to help the club. GET A GRIP

He said he wanted to play abroad>>>> This being the highest offer put forward but when claiming no other club in for him would pay money upfront they only take into account the English clubs, as Smith then suddenly refused to go abroad. He didnt HAVE to go to the reds, its well known Smith actually wanted to go there for obviously champions league footy and medals etc and spoke to people he thought highly of at the club and ask them what he ought to do knowing fans feelings on such a move and they all told him to go for it, it was his career. That was BEFORE this bolloxs about the only club that would pay cash in had. Your all conveniently ignoring the fact Lorimer not only stated most recent the 'Facts' about the Smith move but in another interview he claimed Smith WANTED to go to Man utd and not any other club, this despite later claims of the bid being the highest. What utter Bullsh*te. Picking one comment but ignoring the countless others against smiths decision to move on his own decision NOTHING to do with being forced to

Agree0 Disagree0

Does it matter really? At the end of the day we cant stop certain players joining and I for one will support whoever pulls on the white shirt

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, that's a rather interesting response to my post there. Allow me to address a couple of glaringly obvious errors in your reply. Firstly I am intruiged to know where you get the impression that I am bullying people into following my point of view. I think that if you read my post again and actually look at the words instead of what you want to see you will find it more informative. I clearly stated that Smith helped to save the club, not that he did so single-handedly. Any extension of a financial collapse is better than a total implosion, would you not agree? Yes, other midfielders have scored more than Smith in recent years, but have you considered the tactical position he was played in and the fact that he may very well have been instructed to remain just in front of the defence? Maybe you would also content that Lucas should have saved more shot than he did because he began his career as a goalkeeper? On another point, my reference to 80% was a clear ironic note on the post I was originally commenting on. I'm sorry that this escaped you and I shall try to be clearer in the future. Finally I shall note the question you asked me, "are you a immature" (sic), and compare it against the multiple and childish attempts to get a rise out of me by calling me 'girly' and 'my sweet'. I think you have done rather more to prove my point there than you have your own.
I maintain my stance that Smith is Leeds to the bone, and I also know that the majority of people I have spoken to on forums and on real life would support him returning to the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to see the guy back in a leeds shirt, but god i'd never beg how sad are you lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Come back Al, you're Leeds through and through, we want you back and you know you'd love it if you came back and helped us back into the top flight again. And if any person starts shouting otherwise at your first match I dare say the majority of us fans will deal with them. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one will support whoever pulls on the white shirt
11 Binmen? What a load of sh*te, do you not care if we have the right characters to take us back to the promised land then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who the hell said your a bully, I said your making out those that hold the opposite view to you are bullying people into thinking the same as them. Ie the School comment He DID NOT help save the club, he just prelonged the enevitable deary We werent going to totally implode at all your lying. Smiths mediocre 8 grand didnt go far with over 100 million we were in debt, Get your FACT straight before you think your clever calling me up on something you clearly have no clue about. As for comment about his position that doesnt prevent him scoring during corners free kicks etc your excusing his draught because it suits you to, hes had a decent 6mths in 4 years at Newcastle, reel of all the excuses you like it doesnt change that fact he ahsnt earnt the fee Newcastle paid for him as any of their fans. As for the Lucas comment what a cretin you are....seriously how is that in any way similar every other position is comepletly different to a GK, but if your gonna mention that position GK's have scored more than Smith has i.e PR. No need to be clearer, your lies jump of the screen, so please dont trouble yourself deary. And you'll find I call people that regularly, if your going to take offense to the fact Im adressing you as a girl and you are infact a girl then thats your problem. I dont get offended when people call me Matey or fella or whatever else. He isnt Leeds to the bone he refused to return and played for man utd reserves.

Hahaha well that provoked more of a reaction than i thought, and as for the deluded person who thinks I'm not a real fan for slagging so called fellow fans, well thats my opinion pal, and i am LEEDS to the core, if we were all the same, well there would be no point to anything so take your head out of your ****. And as for all the others you all have your views that's what makes this so funny....M.O.T

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you know what M.O.T means???
US all marching on together, I think your post contradicts that pal, by slagging of fellow fans

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith did not save lufc in any capacity

You all need to brush up on your facts

Agree0 Disagree0

A reaction......? What responding and contradicting your lies? Whatever helps you sleep at night, next to your Smithy posters.

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think A.S dividing the fanbase is funny at all

Agree0 Disagree0

Then why did you respond to him in the first place surely thats you reacting also

Agree0 Disagree0

HES NOT RETURNING, I BET YOU FEEL LIKE MUGS NOW DEFENDING HIM WHEN HE COULDNT GIVE A s**t ABOUT ANY OF THE LEEDS FANS

In Wrexhams local press your linked with their keeper Chris Maxwell, probably not the big name you were hoping to replace Kasper but I played with him in the Wrexham youth academy and he has plenty of talent, (he was playing for the reserves when he was an under 15s player) kept 15 clean sheets in 36 games last season but our defence is pretty poor. You will probably sign him for cheap with a decent sell on clause (like Neil Taylor of Swansea)

I'm sad to say that Max gradel is joining nottingham forest for 1.2 milliion on monday.

:(

Believable7 Unbelievable29

So you excpect us to believe that we rejected 3 mill from West Ham but accepted a 1.2 mill bid from Forest. Yeh Good One (thumbs up)

Agree0 Disagree0

And i have just heard that we have accepted a 500k offer from Peterborough for Snodgrass.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hahaha. leeds to sell gradel for 1.2 million... dont talk wet and get back on football manager

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually we are going to pay Forest 2 million quid to take him off our hands......

We will probably through in Snodgrass for free too....

Yes I am taking the pi**, but then you started it.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Leeds accept such a low fee for a player valued at £8m and when they have already rejected £3m from West Ham. Wake up and stop the B.S.
