We will not be getting Gradel AND Thomas in Jan it wouldnt make sense to sign 2 players exactly the same type and it has been said that Gradel is only an option if we dont sign thomas (which looks like a likely scenario considering WBA's recent comments) so one or the other but not both

Of course it makes sense! Thomas on one wing and Gradel on the other.

Gradel and thomas can play wings.aidy white can go somewhere sh!t on loan like.... huddersfield!

Doubt we will get either TBH. West brom want Thomas and I seriously dont think Gradel would entertain the championship. There- said what the realists think! Shame though

Gradel can be that striker with pace as well as playing on the wing which he proved when beckford got dropped for a few games . i would rather have gradel if i had to choose

Doubt either will sign on full time basis best option will be Thomas on loan rest of season but if both would come get both in because grades switched flanks with synod grass all the time during games so saying they similar players is no bad thing

Aidy white rubbishe .???? He turned sown premiere teams down and signed a new contract has everyone forgot the everton game hell if Leeds sold him after that game we would all be slaging bates off again

I agree we wont be getting both. but it does make sense to have similar style players on each wing, both with pace. These kind of players swapping wings throughout matches tends to be a nightmare for defenders

Aidy White needs games at left back. He can't play anywhere else.

Two players exactly the same? two positions exactly the same but on different sides? so two wingers to fill 2 winger positions yeah stupid that isnt it.. Also they arent the same gradel is far better going forward and defensively.

He cant play at left back either he is league 1 or 2 at best.

Surely to god gfh are going to tell Wornock to get quality players in in January . They want prem football as much as us this is there business and they will want there 52 million back ASAP . So realistic quality with about 10 million to spend for me would be ( mcgoogan . Gradel . Thomas . George boyd . Ian hart or Jonathan parr to fill the left back problem . wide men with all this pace we can feed beccio properly. Good times ahead I Reacon . Mot.

10mill lol not a chance I'd say 2-3mill is more realistic

we dont need to spend too much money to get out of this league ,theres plenty of quality players for less than 1 mil .theres nothing wrong with getting the odd player for more than 1 mil but realistically we already have 2 top strikers at the club and then we have diouf who can change a game at any point .

What happens if becchio gets injured?

If we get mc cormack playing the way he did before he got injured we will be ok up front.... M.O.T

But surly u would invest more than just 2 million when uve just paid 50 for the club . Gradel alone would cost 2 mill .Jerome Thomas would cost 1 million. Would them 2 added to what we've already got take us up ? I don't think so ?

Agree we need more than just Becchio. Who knows, if a Prem club don't move in for him -and if we have enough money (a big if)- we might just have a chance of getting C M-S. Would also be more than happy to have Beckford come and see if he can lay the demons to rest (I wouldn't begrudge him that, given the great service he gave us when he was our main man, and we were crying out for a bit of something). Why the hell did Warnock sign Drury? All he's done is warm the bench and "Captain" Peltier is absolute rubbish at LB. give Drury a bit more game time at LB before we go out and spend money to fill a position we have already got adequate cover for in this league.
