Le fondre will sign before the Leicester game FACT

Believable75 Unbelievable68

Should be on Thursday afternoon

Agree3 Disagree1

In all fairness there could be some truth in this because despite McDermott saying there won't be any signings in before Leicester the odds on Le Fondre signing for us in this window have been cut tonight from 6/1 to 4/6 on so could happen. Personally I think it would be a great signing, proven goal scorer taking some of the pressure off Ross

Agree2 Disagree2

The only fact is bmd said he doesn't expect any signings before the Leicester game

Agree4 Disagree0

All I can say is we shall see ;)

Agree1 Disagree1

I just want some goals (and points), damn it. If it's ALF, gravy. If it's Ross, fantastic. If it's someone else, I'll do a backflip.

Agree1 Disagree0

The word FACT doesn't make it happen unfortunately! Would like to see it happen tho

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes because it says FACT I can breathe easily. Glad you calmed my nerves down. There was me thinking this is a rumour page!

Think the fact that Smith is banned for 3 games now, might force a rethink. on the no-one in before leicester statement from mcd

Agree1 Disagree0

Just because McDermott said there were no new signings doesn't make it true. Managers always say the opposite to the media.

Agree2 Disagree0

Smiths red card and appeal failure could well force McDermott to sign somebody as we don't have any striker options, well not realistic ones

Agree1 Disagree0

Now Reading don't have Billy Sharp anymore Le Fondre is starting games for us again. So can't see this happening! Dream on

Brian McDermott is interested in signing striker Matty Fryatt. Tried to get the player before he went to Sheff Weds on loan.

Believable10 Unbelievable55

Needs someone cus it ain't happening for the team

Agree2 Disagree1

Looks Forest bound. £500k

Agree0 Disagree2

If we wanted him and we can't afford 500k we have no chance other than loans.

Agree2 Disagree0

We need to get the defence sorted before signing another dwarf striker.
We would have had to score 10 goals to win the last 2 games.

Agree1 Disagree0

What happened to all this money put aside for transfers!!?!. Been given run around again! This is driving me up the wall. If there's no money for transfers just say. Seriously pissd off now.

Agree2 Disagree1

Jesus, we have players who can score goals already, it's a new back four we need after Saturdays performance.

Agree3 Disagree2

Agree with poster 5, why are we constantly fed lies . Why are we losing players to teams like Burnley and Huddersfield? Can we not go out and buy a quality player that's getting into their respective FIRST TEAM rather than buying cast offs, giving them long contacts and then being stuck with them . Had a season ticket when I was 4, I am now 47 and can never remember being as deflated as this!

We have players who can score goals? Not sure about that, our 2nd top scorer is poor matt smith with 8 goals, followed by Austin on 2!

We need a 20 goal a season striker as well as a creative midfielder and dominant centre back. Left back and a young keeper wouldn't hurt either

LUFC have appealed against Matt Smiths RED card against Sheff Wed!??
We've got no chance!
MOT(without Matt Smith)

Believable65 Unbelievable11

Said since it happened the right or wrong won't come in to it! Its Leeds Utd so the sending off will stand. Cynical amongst us might think the appeal is to try and deflect from the unsatisfactory position re takeover and new players not being signed!

Agree2 Disagree1

It wasn't a red card he didn't raise is arm

Agree3 Disagree0

Matt smith is doing a great job and will only get better give him some balls from the wingers and he will score plenty! he can even hit the back of the net with his feet I remember Lee Chapman fantastic in the air but would trip over the ball if came to his feet in the box, 32 goals a season striker but missed loads of chances but got loads of chances supplied with the team at the time.! The ref got the sending off of Matt Smith wrong he got played buy the over reaction of the Wednesday players and over reacted with a red card himself bad decision!.MOT

OMG, cynical isn't in it, some people make supporting Leeds hard for the sake of it and I am not talking about the players.

Agree3 Disagree0

Smith did not raise his elbow just barged into the player who went down far too easily. No more than a yellow for me. I would not send a player off for that in any of the games I referee. Too much play acting is conning referees who then get decisions wrong

Agree2 Disagree0

Dazwhite1919 original poster
definitely was not a red card
ref was conned
matt smith did look at the player but so would you if you felt the ball was yours and you wanted the ball as much as he did
why did'nt the ref book for the foul on danny pugh - answer because danny pugh did not go down like a sack of spuds and roll about on the ground. he got straight back up after being badly tackled. warnock last season stated that we were not conning the refs enough by play acting enough - maybe we should start!

Matt smith is leeds 2nd top scorer for leeds so stop slagging the lad off he does not deserve it ain't his fault there's has been shocking players around him (warknocks Rable) people are slagging off BMD no disrepect but leeds should of beaten sheffield wednesday regardless of the tatics within reason you look at the players who mcdermott has signed 2 wingers from the prem who are proven you got the other young lad who has a lot of potental so does wooton Manchester United didn't release him didn't they? Then you got murphy the best CM leeds have had in years zakilukas anougher proven defender matt smith a lad who will score goals just the team needs time to ajust but mcormack how many goals did he score under warknock? Was he the top scorer in the championship so don't have ago at mcdermott he will take leeds up I gaurentee it if he gets his 11 teams will fear playing them warknocks rabble are not trying because they know if leeds go up they will be gone mcdermotts signings will be at least squad players

Agree1 Disagree0

No I totally agree Matt didn't raise an elbow, he just barged into the defenders face with his body. If your making a challenge under fifa rules you have to make an effort to get the ball HE didn't i'm afraid.
I think a yellow would have been sufficient but hey he got a red and the lad deserves what he got IT WAS VERY CLUMSEY for a so called professional.

Leeds have made an approach to sign West Brom defender Craig Dawson on loan until the end of the season.

Believable60 Unbelievable30

Can we see if divine intervention is available?

Agree2 Disagree0

Hope it's true. Good goalscoring defender. However we currently have 4 CBs, so I'm unsure. We still need midfielders!

Agree2 Disagree1

Please get him he's better then all our carthorses he's a good upcoming solid player that chips in with his fair share of goals would be a great addition

Agree2 Disagree0

Were not going to get anybody in, can you imagine them joining a sinking ship?
watch this space bet we don't sign anybody now

Agree3 Disagree2

If we played with 10 CB's we could keep a clean sheet. Dawson was OK a few years ago but is he better than what we already have? Bring LUCAS back and if he is not available sign the KOP CAT.

Agree1 Disagree1

Where we're the 4 centre backs at Hillsborough. we're they all out injured?

Sorry Leeds fans. Rumours coming out of our club say that Mr showbiz himself ( Jamie o'hara ) will be signing on loan until end of season.

Believable28 Unbelievable57

Another yard dog midfielder, just end the season now.

Agree1 Disagree1

I would be more than happy if he joined us. Someone who can actually play a central midfield role, pass (which none of our midfielders managed on Saturday), shoot (which none . you know where its going) and ultimately score, plus he can tackle, another trait missing Saturday.

He is a quality player who cuts up the championship, just that he played in a team of rejects at Wolves.
Bring him on and drop Austin The Hoofer
Harrogate Rob

Agree2 Disagree3

Yes please better than out we've got

Agree2 Disagree2

I would have O'Hara any day of the week no contest
shame were not going to get anybody in

Agree1 Disagree1

Considering our manager doesn't expect to sign anyone this week there appears to be a lot of activity!

Agree1 Disagree0

I honestly think this would be a great signing our midfield is absolutely shocking at the mo and maybe this could be the rough diamond we are looking for

MOT

(ps let's stand united and get behind Brian because if we don't and cause a stink and cuss we might only make things worse! Our season is not over yet just keep the faith (in BMc) )

Agree3 Disagree0

1 good thing about Ohara he will give his all for the badge and shirt! Which at the moment is a lot more then 7 or 8 of our players are doing more botherd about who's going to be on take me out on a Saturday night then 3 points on a Saturday afternoon! let's get a grip and play with some pride we are leeds united!

Agree2 Disagree0

Give his all for his shirt! Wolves fans all say he will rot in reserves because of lack of commitment. No better than anything we already have.

Agree1 Disagree1

That's because he is playing for wolves massive difference wolves and leeds and it would be a great chance to kick start is career again

Agree1 Disagree0

It's not going to happen, but he probably would be one of our best players if he came
