if gfh can't pay k. b. the next installment
they will have to hand back the majority share holding to the devil incarnate himself.

they have to sell to pearson or lose their meager investment and walk away with nothing the wealthy saudi who backs pearson is bidding his time for gfh to become desperate and then purchase the club.

from my limited contacts and reading between the lines i believe this is nearer the truth than most people will believe, gfh are playing games and bluffing to get more money and maybe starting a bidding war with potential buyers.

Gfh will have the money to purchase the club. Just not enough to throw money at playing staff. Now gfh are searching for investors and don't wish to sell the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

The takeover was completed in December no sane or even uncle ken would ALLOW themselves to be removed from an executive board of directors. To then take a non exec position leaving them powerless on the promise of payment, espescially to the tune of 15 million! GFH were perfectly clear in stating they were seeking wealthy investors at the time of the takeover. I fail to see why people are surprised to learn that said investors would like controlling interest for their investment. GFH ARE AN INVESTMENT BANK ITS WHAT THEY DO.

Agree1 Disagree0

So much for bates doing his homework to weed out the wide boys, and people who don't show that they have the funds. messed that one up royally!

Agree0 Disagree1

I am the original poster, i believe gfh have some money but not a vast amount, enough to pass all kens tests. they have admitted that if we want to call it 'flip' the club then call it that.
gfh stated that the offer to buy 51% was,

quote
'the most recent offer was for a majority stake and has not been accepted'

not dismissed as as a no go. i believe they are now financially scraping the barrel and hoping to start a bidding war.

Leeds lining up loan move for villa man Ireland

Believable19 Unbelievable35

Whats the point, overpaid rubbish player who drives pink cars.

Agree2 Disagree1

Why bother signing players now, the season is practically finished. The players there might just about keep the club in the League, its about another fresh start next summer.

Really really bloody hope not!

gfh don't have any money that's why barkley was sent back and warnock hasn't been sack another money saving tip given by ken to gfh. the bulldog

Believable38 Unbelievable11

How do you know that Barkley was sent back because we do not have any money and how do you know Warnock has not been sacked because we do not have any money. Are you a Leeds United fan or do you support another team and you are just posting this to be annoying?

GFH have pretty much secured new investment in Leeds which will provide funds for the summer transfer window. Just needs the final paperwork sorting and it will be done. It seems as with any deal involving us recently that unforseen snags have slowed down the deal, the problem this time being the main investor being involved in a car accident and so being unavailable for talks for a short while as he recovered. His advisors took the talks so far but they had to wait for him to be fit to complete the final paperwork and conclude the deal.

Have you been drinking, I don't know where you think them up from.

Is it dean gaffney?

And just where is any proof of this allegation? I'm not saying it's not true, but there doesn't seem to be any single article or discussion anywhere else at all? {Ed016's Note - This is a site for rumours, rumours don't necessarily come with a source)

Agree0 Disagree0

Why were they given proper and fit owners without funds by the football league

Agree0 Disagree0

To the comment above, very true that! They wouldn't of been able to takeover unless they had the money!

Agree0 Disagree0

Most clubs have investors with varying percentages of ownership. Arsenal is a good example. I don't see what the problem is

Barkley gone back to Everton because Warnock cannot guarantee him games. this man is totally mad, get him out now!

Believable9 Unbelievable10

New owners do something immediately, its not good enough

Agree3 Disagree0

Personally I think warnock should go and the main reason is blatantly clear. He don't have the clubs interest at heart. He don't give a stuff about Leeds. All he cares about is his wallet. He plays players out of position and when he loans good players ie Barkley he don't play them. For me last night was the last straw when he waited for Leeds to go behind and then decides to make substitutions with 6 minutes to go. GET HIM OUT NOW!!

Agree2 Disagree0

He actually sent him back so he could get loanees in different positions that need strengthing i. e. the wing. Remember you can only have two loans player from the domestic leagues at once. I reckon Warnock will probably bring a defender and winger. Source: tv Football

Agree1 Disagree1

Totally agree mate barkley could of been great if person brains had put him straight down the middle instead of out wide. Wornock wants putting out wide. Way way wide of leeds united. Prefrebly as wide as cornwall! Mot.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fully agree!
LtKK

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyway he was far too young for LUFC! : -)

Agree1 Disagree0

If we are going to make a Manager change and go for Nigel Adkins (as most people seem to be in favour of) then in my opinion, for what its worth, we need to do it now before any other club snaps him up. It will give him a couple of months to assess the needs of the team and what he needs to do to put together a real push for promotion next season.
PeteMOT

Agree0 Disagree1

Since when could you have only 2 players from domestic league? We've had way more then that bfore, as far as I'm aware you can't have more then 2 from same team and 5 in your starting lineup {Ed013's Note - Correct}

Agree0 Disagree0

He buys Hall never plays him and said we need a winger? {Ed013's Note - I think Hall was a panic buy or a loan with agreement that he must sign as I don't think he is the answer on the wing}

gfh is all part of bates empire that's why he is still at the club, who do you think you are kidding mr warknock, dads army - the war is over time to move on with your old troops

Believable35 Unbelievable31

People need to get off the new owners' backs. I agree that the Warnock experiment has not worked and I am sure that he will be gone very shortly. However, Warnock was put in place by the old regime and was not seen as a bad move at the time. GFH have invested in the Club - cash buy-out, loan wages and some purchase activity. It would have been madness to gamble on the January window when there was no real talent at any reasonable price available. From what I have seen everything that GFH has done is to steady the ship, ensure continuity to this season and to give Leeds a chance of promotion. If it does not happen then let's see what they can do over the summer. That is the time to judge! Don't forget - GFH inherited this mess - they did not make it! So far all they have done is invest - they have had no return!

Agree7 Disagree0

Get off their backs it was them clowns who said part of the takeover was down to Warnock staying

Agree2 Disagree1

Good post. The voice of reason. Not sure you will be welcome here.

Agree2 Disagree1

I've also heard this. He said he sold 100% of Leeds Holdings to GFH but did not say he did not have an investment in the new setup. I heard he just redirected 30% of the sale back through GFH.

Agree1 Disagree0

the warnock part of the contract will of been put in place by bates. probably the reason the rest of them are still in place as well. i'm sure gfh will do a big clear out in the close season while nothing else is going on.

Agree2 Disagree0

Whether or not Bates is the driving force behind GFH, questions are being raised as how this whole situation has helped LUFC. Would you buy a club for"£50 Million" without owning their own stadium, training facilities and a jaded fan base. More incredible is that knowing that the current main stream of revenue (fanbase) was dwindling due to disgruntalment in direction the club were taking. Couple that with the (connected) fact that future potential revenue stream opportunities (promotion) were unlikely without investment in team quality, and failure to do anything about that, suggests GFH have no idea what they are doing if they are in fact in control. Seriously who buys a club, where the current owner is so obviously disliked, then installs him as the Chairman of the board, then future President? Surely the Direction they should be taking is disengaging from the old regime, making their own mark, and engaging with the fans. None of this is hapening. Reply's 1 & 2 - your faith is admirable, if not your judgement, there is nothing but hollow words to back up your beliefs. However that said future will dictate who is right or wrong here. I personally see nothing to suggest our position will improve, it shouldn't deminish, but not improve. For Leeds United, this is not acceptable.

Agree3 Disagree0

People on here know nothing - as usual. They prefer to present themselves as some huge conspiracy victims instead of looking at facts. GFH have invested, that is a fact. Some higher wage earners have come in and contracts have been signed. If you doom merchants believe that they should be having a bigger impact more quickly than you are seeing then why don't you just pull the magic wand out of your own a*ses and make things right. Then when you come back to reality you can settle down and enjoy the coffee

Agree2 Disagree0

Just who should get thier head out of thr clouds?
Out of Morison, Warnock, Habibou and Hall who is the high earners? El hadj was at Donny when we took him! This is Championship football- with a potential earnings of 37000 fans (tickets, food&drink, merchendising, SPONSORSHIP) greater than most premiership clubs, currently at less than 50%. You think that's Quality investment! Are you Ken Bates??
