Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse says he will not be happy with another year among the substitutes after his debut Premier League season.

Ward-Prowse started Saints' first match of the campaign against Manchester City but began just three more league games. In total the teenager made 11 league substitute appearances and he is desperate to prove himself next season.

Brian McDermott could make a move for highly rated Dundee United winger Mackay-steven. To be honest he is a quality winger with pace and skill and is what we're looking for but will cost a bit of money but worth it.

We won't have the money to sign him

Brian McDermott could make a move for Dundee Utd winger Gary Mackay-Steven after the highly rated winger confirmed he wants to leave the club.

Would be fantastic signing I would also like to see danny simpson push byram to rm and that would be the wingers sorted out

I hope that's the plan with Wabara coming. with regards to Mackay Stevens, in the same mould as russell, would love to see Ross M paired up with another Scot

Nice to have the Leeds accountants on this web page. Unless you have had a look at the LUFC books how do you know what we can and what we cannot afford. So glass half empty, its time to get a grip.

To the previous two replies have you actually followed Leeds' transfer activity over recent years? Last year we pretty much only spent what we received in. Think you owe the previous poster an apology.

Well we know now that we have some cash to spend after the capture of Luke Murphy for £1m and the trading of several millions of pounds worth in shares for GFH. If they really are going to back the gaffer, this shouldn't be too much of an unrealistic target.

Just been to Thorpe Arche and I can CONFIRM the player there having a medical with the Leeds coaching and medical staff is in fact a surprise one. This is a massive FACT and the BM's second signing (assuming he passes the medical) is Titus Bramble. MOT.

I hope not, I have lived in Ipswich for a while and have met him and he is a massive ar*ehole. and trouble.

Korey smith and Cameron Stewart latest names to be linked to us on the unreliable world of twitter!

I saw Matt Smith's name linked on their the other day so you never know, these could be possible. Would be decent, young, hungry players, exactly what McDermott's looking for. Korey Smith would come on a free so that is looking more probable than Stewart knowing Leeds and the GFH's current lack of ambition evident. (Would be weird if we sign a player from Norwich for a change instead of the other way around!)

Don't think it would be weird getting a player from Norwich. At first they just thought we were a pushover in getting some of our best players, but Warnock surpassed himself in proving that we not only let them have our best players, we are also happy to let them go for free and take their cast offs in return?

I would take both Korey Smith & Cameron Stewart.

According to the daily snail we are set to not only get the fantastic noel hunt but also his older (yes older) brother stephen hunt! i'm not happy with either, noel hardly has a good scoring record and is old, whereas stephen was good (still not bad now) but is even older! I hope neither is true to be honest, would be a step in the wrong direction. I doubt they will come too, because McD said he wanted to focus on the long term. (hence why he's working on thorp arch)

Stephen Hunt is 31 and would be a good signing. Some older players are good and still worth having, it's not like we are signing 35yr old useless players like Brown again

S hunt would be great signing. everone is acting like anyone over the age of 29 should retire or just give up the ghost and die. 31 is not old and could still offer something. 30+ players are needed to get out of this league look at QPR and Portsmouth and players like craig Bellemy. S hunt should be welcome with open arms. 31 year old hunt or a younger Hall? I know who I would rather have

Met Noel Hunt and Ian Harte last night. They were on his stag at his pub The Dugout in Clare. There's a picture of all of us on his twitter page. He said he was signing for Leeds and a deal should be done soon. Ian Harte said he wasn't coming back though, told me not to put any money on it

Original Poster here. They were in Galway on Saturday night but came down to Ennis on Sunday morning and watched the Clare hurling team train. there's a pic of Ian Harte and a few of the hurlers on Sean Collins twitter page for anyone that doesn't believe me! They then went for a round of golf in Dromoland Castle. The pic is of my soccer team, Turnpike Rovers. As you can see where holding up tops which The Dugout Bar sponsored. Hunt is leasing the Pub with Davy Fitz, the small lad in the orange t-shirt (Clare Hurling Manager). The only one in the pic in the stag group is Fitz, Hunt, Harte and d lad in d red shirt, rest is the team and mentors. I'm the good looking guy in the pic! :-) Have to say Hunt and Harte are gents and down to earth. Hunt said yes to everyone that asked for a photo. With all that info do people still think I could be lying!
