Sammy has said his goodbyes. Not ideal but wish him all the best at Leeds.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Could have some legs this one. We live in hope.

Agree3 Disagree1

Don't see why people disagree with this post...the tweet is on Twitter for everybody to see. Why would one of his team mates lie?

Agree2 Disagree3

Well if this is true just shows why twitter is band at Leeds .My guess is the account is fake ,If it is a fake account it just shows how sad and how much time people have on there hands .Dose any one know if it is a fake? Ed {Ed001's Note - I don't know, I don't really use Twitter a lot, it is just not a site I see a lot of point in.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Thats not his account he was born in 89 not 79.

Agree1 Disagree1

I didn't know any number placed in your Twitter username had to be reflective of your date of birth?

Agree0 Disagree0

The accounts fake, he says so on his facebook page. also non off his team mates are following him sooooo

Heskey & St.Ledger to sign , both in Leeds tonight .Watch this space

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Come on fella, we all no Leicestershire a feeding club for Leeds :-) but even I wouldn't take the p1zz with them two lol

Agree4 Disagree6

A money saving idea for master bates, swap your away kit to blue, change badges and hey presto you'll have half a 1st kit ready made :-)

Agree2 Disagree2

Heskey 0% chance of signing. St Ledger 25% chance as deal agreed with ipswich.

Agree7 Disagree2

It's heskeys birthday today aswell! I think he'll be playing FIFA getting his rating with a few booze!

Agree3 Disagree1

St ledger not signing for anyone until after their cup reply with forest next week

Agree1 Disagree1

snoddy to leicester city for £5 mil .sorry ppl

Believable6 Unbelievable22

Hope your not trying to wind our northern friends up fella? ( ssshhh does it envolve donkey Becky going other way) :-)

Agree1 Disagree6

Why do u think snoddy hasn't been playing really

Agree3 Disagree8

Errrrm because he has just had an appendix op??????? If he goes anywhere it will be to the premiership not to another championship side so at least try to make a decent rumour up and stop posting absolute rubbish

Agree8 Disagree4

You will see snoddy surgery was just a reason to prevent injury

Agree2 Disagree4

Complete crap Snoddy would only move to prem what's point of moving sideways

Agree4 Disagree2

He better insure that appendix of his, apparantly he's worth 15 mill if you believe evrything ppl say on this site, lol. Get over it ppl he's (one of) the best players in a top 10 championship team. MOT.

Agree3 Disagree2

A move a Leicester isn't even side ways, it's downwards, it's where the players that don't fit end up to show how bad they really were.

Agree2 Disagree0

Im a 2nd year medical professional and there is no way that any sane surgeon would remove an appendix as a preventative measure, an appendix is only removed in case of infection due to faecal matter becoming lodged there

Agree0 Disagree0

Snodgrass will NOT be joining any Championship club. He has been offered a contract by 2 Premiership clubs and would have already joined one, had his illness not occurred. He will return soon and go for a medical with a club in the Premiership and if things go well, he will leave Leeds. Leeds will only sell for the money they want, suggested to be around £6.5m

Agree0 Disagree1

Speaking of faecal matter, 15mil ?

No way, hes good, but not that good, 4mil if we are lucky!

Agree0 Disagree2

11 Jan 2012 20:52:48
Can i just ask who all these lunatics are that think that Snodgrass would go for any more than 5 million??!! Serioulsy, he is a player who is 24, hasnt played Prem football, isn't a prolifiic goalscorer, isn't a Scotland defo starter, has limited pace and has had, lets say....stamina issues at times. He is a really good championship player, who could play in the bottom half of teh prem. All those saying any Prem club would pay 7mill+ are nuts! I even saw a post with people mentioning 14 mill! For real!

Believable12 Unbelievable7

Lol, (unfortunately) i have to completely agree. This is quite a factual post. he's going nowhere, and for the record i dont mind that as he is our best player apart from Clayton and Lonners. MOT

Agree6 Disagree2

I am the oringinal poster- I am happy for him to stay, he enjoys playing for Leeds and is a good player. Just think if we did get offered crazy money we would have to take it, Hope he stays though.

Agree3 Disagree1

I have to agree, i think its wishful thinking for anything more than 3 mil. on his day he is outstanding dont get me wrong, and he can change a game, but i feel he is too inconsistant.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 20:45:53
Man City have released David Gonzalez... Would be a good signing

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Would that be the same Gonzalez we had last season who did not get anywhere near the first team? No thanks

Agree9 Disagree6

Excuse me, i signed him on FIFA, our best palyer LMAO, and before the usual 'i'm on my high horse' comment comes out, i'm joking lol

Agree2 Disagree1

Well if you prefer Rachukba as back up to the First Team the so be it

Just seen Alan Smith outside Elland Road in his car. Hope the hero returns. Looked to be drying his eyes? Come home smudger. MOT

Believable12 Unbelievable16

Probably he's just been told we can't match the obscene wage packet he's already on.

Agree13 Disagree5

Just admiring our maginficent new £7M development of the East Stand!

Agree14 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 22:20:26
Why Leeds fans are wrong to blame Alan Smith. Top top lad. Top pro. Wud love to see him back.

Agree8 Disagree5

Roflmao come on guys less of this ok as much as I'd like him to come back this stuff isn't helping LOL

Agree3 Disagree1

Probably crying with laughter at bates´s wage offer!

Agree6 Disagree2

I just made up a new word ppl, delusionalemotionalism. LOL. Add it to wiki LOL.

Agree4 Disagree1

Rumour has it he had been helping out in Howards Restaurant peeling the onions

Agree2 Disagree1

Alan smith's a w@nker he went to sign for scum but we dont give a f##k cos we've got danny pugh

Agree4 Disagree5

Will people give alan smith a break...the kid was fantastic when he was at leeds, he gave leeds his £1m signing on fee to ease the debt and cried when he got sold for financial reasons. why he didnt come back i dont know, but i think there is more to the story than is being let out on the net...i'd welcome smithy back home to leeds provided he fills the critera we need as a footballer

Agree5 Disagree1

Very very sad that a few people continue to spread the "Smith return" stuff, they simply have other interests in the chap and don't have a clue as to how poor this guy plays his football. Smith is at best a League One player and should have retired years ago.

Agree1 Disagree1

Look... all you 'leeds' fans... alot you obviously care to ignore about alan smith going to man utd.... they were the highest bidders and only team willing to pay upfront... and the signing on fee alan smith recieved he gave to leeds utd football club to stop the team he loves going into liquidation. all of you saying smith is a traitor and scum no nothing about the real goings on at leeds or football! MOT BRING BACK SMUDGE

Agree2 Disagree1

Am sorry smithy may love leeds, but wen he signed for scum he didnt give q f*** about us, and wen he scored his first goal for the scum he kissed the badge, so in my opinion he was chatting s**t in this interview and tbh wudnt want him back!

Agree2 Disagree0

Leeds have agreed a fee for coventry city captain Sammy Clingan, talks to be held first thing in the morning.

Believable13 Unbelievable6

Accordin to who? he's crap anyway, why do you think he is still with Coventry after 2/3 transfer window's worth of speculation?!

Agree1 Disagree3

11 Jan 2012 17:29:02
According to leicster manager nigel pearson sean st ledger is coming to leeds and has turned down a move to ipswich in favour of a move to elland road mot

Believable15 Unbelievable9

The rumour gaining pace at the moment is Derry returning to Leeds, much better option than Smith, would add much in terms of leadership, good experienced pro.

Agree10 Disagree6

Does st ledger want a lift?? Il drop the other donkey Belford off at the same time ;-)

Agree4 Disagree3

Thought he fell out with SG and fans might be wrong?! people say Smith is too old but Derry is pushing 35, Smith is 31 although fair dinkum he's probably played more regularly lol

Agree2 Disagree2

Can't see that, Derry was suposingly the spy in the camp when he was at Leeds last time,

Agree3 Disagree3

Didnt think Derry was here when Grayson was, thougt he went when he had Denise Wise and his wobbly eyes in charge!

Agree1 Disagree1

Nah, it wasn't Derry - it was Lucas, the goalkeeper

Agree2 Disagree4

It was the goalkeeper but it wasnt Lucas it was Sullivan

Heard from Aston Villa ground staff that Leeds have agreed to sign Emile Heskey on a two-month loan, subject to fitness and medical tests.

Believable6 Unbelievable16

I am nearly sure heskey is out for the season so stop talking nonsense

Agree5 Disagree3

Out for a month injured. Do your homework before making stuff up to post!

Agree7 Disagree2

LOL funneist thing i've heard all century, why would we want a useless muppet who can't score? we already have that in Billy Paynter and Andy Keogh.

Agree7 Disagree2

We no longer have Andy Keogh, He returned to Wolves you muppet. But I do agree with you in the fact theres no way we will sign Heskey. Wouldn't want him.

Agree2 Disagree0

Happy to take heskey provide he's only coming to drive Lichaj and Delph up to ER

Agree5 Disagree1

Why would villa ground staff know what the hells going on at leeds lol funny

Agree4 Disagree0

KEOGH GONE BACK 2 WEEKS AGO YOU NOT SUPPORT LEEDS!!

Agree3 Disagree3

Agree get Lichaj and Delph in plus a centre half. Maybe a centre forward who is quick enough to get into the box to get on the end of some crosses from Townsend and Snoddy

Agree3 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 15:53:31
Does anybody know anything about Oldham Defender Jean Yves Mvoto. My mate seems to think we're interested in him but I don't know nothing about him apart from he's about 6ft 3.
Have any of you seen him play?

Believable1 Unbelievable7

I've never seen him play, in fact the only thing I know about him is that he's always available for transfer on FM! Stats are rubbish too!
On a serious note though, I wouldn't have high hopes over a League One defender when we're trying to get back in to the Premier League. However I could be completely wrong! Would be nice if we were aiming a little bit higher though in terms of getting players in.

Agree1 Disagree1

11 Jan 2012 15:38:27
Leeds not signing puncheon has bates said we only want players that want to play for the club which to be fair is true plus he also said he didnt want to come in the first place so nash on puncheon

Believable11 Unbelievable1

He didn't actually say he didn't want to come, he saw an opportunity to play in the premier league, wouldn't you.. if you weren't a Leeds fan i mean?

Agree6 Disagree1

Doubt we would sign him now anyway seeing as we have got Rogers (another winger)

Agree3 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 15:17:45
Leeds to sign victor palsson following his release by hibernian

Believable4 Unbelievable12

We were after him this summer so sounds plausible if he is a free agent

Agree4 Disagree2

Hmmm, 'we were after im this summer' . . . based on what? A few posts on here, his agent spouting . . . we probably had a look and didn't fancy what we saw.

Agree2 Disagree3

Im sure hes already at a team mite b wrong tho

Agree1 Disagree1

'we were afer him in the summer' was on sky sports last summer you muppet!!

Agree2 Disagree2

Sky sports was saying leeds were after him before he went to hibbs

Robbie Rogers Signed :) and St Ledger Is On Way Up For Talks Everything Agreed With Ipswich But Theres Is Doubts In His Mind About Signing For Them Hope We Get Him

Believable10 Unbelievable6

Just to repeat an earlier post of mine, St Ledger is absolutely terrible. Trust me as I know enough Leicester fans that have season tickets and every single one of them has moaned numerous times that he's diabolical.

Agree7 Disagree5

And I've just asked a friend of mine who is a season ticket holder at Leicester about St Ledger and he had this to say:

He moaned that he wasn’t playing after about a month, he got a few chances and made a few crucial mistakes. Back on the bench and then got another chance but didn’t really look great at all

Back on the bench and then confronted the manager infront of the Chairman about it!

He sounds like a proper clown, who does he actually think he is! He's rubbish and sounds like a trouble maker.

Agree4 Disagree3

How can St Ledger be any better than Alex Bruce, if Grayson thinks signing that clown makes us better, then he has completely lost it. By the way his treatment of Alex Bruce is wrong he`s the best Centre Back at the club along with Tom Lees.

Simon`s signings other than Lonergan in the summer were awful and I just hope he can get it right in this window, but if this rummor is anything to go by its much of the same carp.

Agree8 Disagree2

I don't know anything about this ladd but my opinion is he hasn't got a club for a reason. We need some proven championship players. We need a cb and rb, cm and a forward as none of them can score. Mc cormack needs 20,000 chances before he ever scores. I think gunter for rb, st ledger for cb, dont know cm probably loan and probably a loan for a forward. We all know bates wouldn't spend a penny if it was a live or die situation.

Agree5 Disagree3

And I've been a ST holder at Preston whilst he was there and he was absolutely brilliant.

Agree5 Disagree4

Sometimes a player needs a change of club to raise his moral and game - a move to Leeds could be good for him. Granted he's not the best, but we need defenders urgently

Agree2 Disagree3

Not too bad for Ireland. He's impressed me numorous times.

Agree4 Disagree3

Leicester hasn`t been managed brilliantly this season, You can hardly go by that lol

Agree0 Disagree3

I'm from peterborough. a few years ago there was a sky one show called "Big Ron Football Manager". St Ledger was playing for peterborough and didn't get picked. He caused a fight between the players, fight between the chairman (barry fry) and the manager (steve bleasdale).

He's moved to preston, they got relegated, and he signed for leicester. Same story again, didn't get picked, tried to cause a rift in the changing room, had a go at the manager and chairman and has now been transfer listed.

My friend used to play with him and is still a professional footballer (i won't say which club as i would drop him in it) and he says "he is everything that is wrong with football at the minute"

Hes a bad egg.............let him go to Ipswich

Agree10 Disagree1

I agree I saw the same program he was like a spoilt kid thinking he was some kind of big noise, we don't want people like that he wont play for the badge he's all about himself.. theres gotta be better options out there..

Agree8 Disagree1

11 Jan 2012 11:53:42
Robbie Rogers signed on OS!
MOT
RT

Believable14 Unbelievable12

Why have people clicked disagree when all they have to do is check the official site? just makes them look like idiots

Agree11 Disagree10

I ,m excited wanting to know if trigger is part of the deal

Agree2 Disagree4

Any word on the length of the deal or likelihood of work permit being granted?

Agree1 Disagree4

11 Jan 2012 18:09:10
Looks fairly decent, we will have to see...

Agree1 Disagree1

We'll see in a couple of days, probably until the end of the season like Ramon

ESPN article claims that the robbie rogers contract will run to the summer of 2014 if a work permit is granted

Al well and good another winger to keep sam off the pitch but we need defenders and possible center mid
Should be gettin st ledger form leister gunter from forrest matt mckay from rangers and I may get abit of abuse but get smudger back give the midfield abit more bite which wev mist from johnson and he will demand 100% from everyone
Lufc hughzy

Believable10 Unbelievable9

Give bite to our midfield my arse. Smith is crocked, finished, and a total waste of wages. Let Newcastle worry about his 70k/w contract.

Agree8 Disagree11

How much money for wages do you think we've got?!

Agree5 Disagree3

St Ledger is a definite no! Thankfully Ipswich look like sealing the deal for him, because I live 4 mins from the Walkers Stadium and every single Leicester fan I know have said the same thing.....he's a donkey! Ipswich's defence will be worse if he signs for them, better them than us!

Agree3 Disagree4

Re Smith - it's 60k p/w and according to unreliable Sun he's not bothered about wages but we'll see...
as long as hes fit and takes a wage cut I'd have him back
I support whoever we bring in to play in white shirt as long as they give 100 per cent
mot

Agree6 Disagree3

St Ledger is a stockin who only looks good for Ireland when he plays beside dunne! Defo need a centre half and give lees, White and Thompson a go at the back. As for smudger yeah he's on 70k now but he wouldn't be expecting dat from pops and he can't be any worse dan Michael Brown or Andy Keogh who both have been playing this season!!!

Agree2 Disagree5

Yes i agree id take smith back to.too many of you are bitter and twisted, all that matters is the team and getting to where we want.if hes rubbish then grayson has to take the responsibility but after watching valymeren v arsenal then id have him back anyday

Agree4 Disagree2

:) just want passion and belief we need an experienced head to kick arse a bit in midfield no doubt he's a gamble but AS would be hungry to prove a point
don't shoot me for it just an opinion
Robbie Rogers sounds good but won't judge til I see him play
defence & midfield needs addressing ASAP we say we miss Howson but too often he's blown hot and cold, Claytons gone off the boil but that doesn't mean to say I don't like or value either of them.

Agree2 Disagree1

Smith not coming back, we need one maybe two centre halves, a creative mf and a striker, i know this might not be popular - but why not cash in on becchio?, not been same player this season and dont think he will have been over impressed by what Bates said about him and his injury the other week

Agree2 Disagree1

11 jan 2012 10:40:38
its official robbie rogers has signed. he's a poor mans robert snodgrass get him for free and sell snoddy . more coffers in the monaco bank account me thinks.

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Him on the left, Snodgrass on the right? Townsend is only till the end of the season..

Agree9 Disagree2

Give the lad a chance at least we're not signing overpaid has beens

Agree7 Disagree1

He's a poor mans Eddie Lewis same style of player - a makeshift for Snodgrass he will be gone this month

Agree2 Disagree7

Not the marque signing we were hoping for, but what do we expect from Titas Fook.... Now very worried for Snoddy's future

Agree8 Disagree2

We've signed someone... Let's get on his back before he even has a work permit! Is it any wonder players struggle when they come in for us. The pressure is ridiculous!

Agree6 Disagree0

Poor mans Snodgrass? How many people have even see this guy play really?

Let's give him a chance and see how he gets on.

Townsend, Snoddy on wings, Rogers as back up, rotation along with Lloyd Sam. White can play wing and LB. Pugh can do LM, LB and Centre Mid. Midfield starting to shape up nicely. Brown and Vayrnyn and solid, few mistakes from Brown but good squad player. Howson when he returns from injury. I'd like to see some defenders come in now and maybe another proven goalscorer.

Agree7 Disagree1

All of you saying Rogers is crap you obviously havnt seen him play i have seen him play twice on tv and honestly this lad is seriously talented i know its the mls and all but this lad has unbelievable pace and seriously quick fit however i do think this means snodgrass is leaving hope not though

Agree6 Disagree0

Midfield shaping up nicely .
have you been to elland road lately

Agree2 Disagree3

Iv watched some videos of him and he is probably too slow for this league and definatly too slow for the prem. American game is alot slower and i dont think he will make decisions quick enough. Give hom a chance tho, ya never know he mite work well in the end.

Agree0 Disagree4

No offence but don't bother watching videos they mean nothing. Filipe Da Costa was suppose to be a fantastic signing after what people saw in his videos, and same with Ramon Nunez.

Agree4 Disagree0

Dont slag him off before he's even got onto the pitch this just support him for flip sake, he's a leeds player and thats that. When we bought the likes of gradel and snodders no one knew they would turn out to be like they are now.

Agree3 Disagree0

Da Costa only played one game for us, he looked decent in that game then disappeared..

Agree2 Disagree1

Id Like Ta Add Everybody Was Given Out When We Got Gradel And He Was Savage For Us Give Rogers A Break Think He Is Gunna B Good He Was Once Mentioned Along With Freddy Adu As Future Stars Of US Team

Agree2 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 10:07:23
Leeds are to give a trial to Andy Iro, English centre back playing in the USA, he is currently in the country with Robbie Rogers

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Iro is an absolute tank! Hed scare every striker in this league weve needed a tank for a while now not sure hes good enough standard but the type of cb we need to be looking for!

Agree3 Disagree0

Iro is class he is just the player leeds need pure power!

Agree3 Disagree0

11 Jan 2012 10:02:06
Just want to squash all these Sean St Ledger rumours he is not coming to Leeds. He is going to Ipswich terms and personal terms agreed.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

He has a few clubs interested and hasn't made his mind up yet

Agree3 Disagree2

Hopefully he has signed for Ipswich as we don't needs any more run of the mill championship cb's to take good money out of club

Agree1 Disagree1

10 Jan 2012 23:46:27
To the 16 people that disagreed with me earlier in a post mentioning the signing of Robbie Rogers...he's now signed, subject to work permit.

Believable10 Unbelievable7

You need to stay of the shandy pops pal nothing going on any site I can find particully a little known club official site known as Leeds united jog on joker time for bed take teddy with ya!! MOT forever, wherever!

Agree0 Disagree6

And where does it confirm it!! who is he!! another mike grella!!

Agree0 Disagree6

Where are you getting this info from I can't see it on any websites?

Agree0 Disagree7

Which by the sound of things he is gonna struggle to get hold of mate so i wouldnt count on it too soon!

Agree0 Disagree4

Well done!! glad someone gets there facts right!! MOT

Agree5 Disagree0

Not disagreeing with you but can you please post source, I can't find it anywhere... thanks

Agree0 Disagree5

Yes he has i agree 100%
He has signed subject to work permit good shout mate
Gj

Agree4 Disagree0

Offical club site. Winger/striker full of pace and Grayson feels he will make an immediate impact on the championship. It's also on wiki. Signed last night subject to work permit. So I suggest you look a little harder before running people into the ground
MOT- until the world stops going round

Agree2 Disagree1

Well done to the originally post, and shame on you other guys having a go, its not like this sites rumours arent believeable lol...MOT

Agree3 Disagree1

The club have officially registered the signing on the Official Twitter page. Still the work permit problem to sort I believe.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well done but what are they thinking we need 3 other players in other positions first!! another grella useless!
