Just because Amdy Faye has been released doesn't me we are getting smithy back. . .Pardew has already said he wants to try smith in a new role (upfront) As appossed to his midfield role.
It was unlikely that we were going to extend faye's contract anyway, hes been very average when hes played anyway.
Even though id like him to come, i don't think he is going to. We get linked with him every single transfer window.
However i hope we can secure Michael Johnson on loan until the end of the season, it will be a brilliant capture (if we can keep him fit!)

Latest coming from LUFC is that Simon Grayson has 'moved a step closer' to securing Alan Smith on a three-month loan deal (can be extended dependent on Newcastle and Alan's performances). Not sure what the 'step closer' is but Leeds are in talks with Newcastle / Smith's agent.
In response to this, Grayson has released Amdy Faye to help free up the midfield and to help pay Smith's wages which in Newcastle want Leeds to pay the whole of them.

Florian Lejeune is getting linked to Real Madrid, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Napoli, and Udinese, so why would he go to leeds on trial?
