This is now a total shambles and has been for a while. Heckingbottom has no idea, the players aren't good enough or have the grit and fight required in the Champipnship. The wrong man was fired, TC wasn't doing great but he is a class above PH.
The coming transfer window is crucial, now it's up to the Board to fire Orta, find a good manager/coach and recruit players who can play to a high standard in the Championship and beyond. I can't see us winning again this season and if we had PH all season we would now be in League 1. Very disenchanted at the moment.

Is a measure of the depth to which we have sunk that I'd be happy for Mick M to come. Don't think he'd put up with this shower of rubbish for too long

To all those who can not smell the coffee on this site can YOU now, at least the fantastic away supporters can calling for heads to roll, Radz has to make a choice, invest or sale, sack Orta, and sack Dog bottom, To the thumbs down boys now you can see why we are 3 rd worse club in this league after last night we are probably 2nd, Our Great Club run by a shambles group of so called investors, RADZ out .

we are mathematically safe thanks to TC but where on earth do we go from here. Radz has got to see that his abysmal decisions in trying to follow Cellino's footballing model have backfired spectacularly. I am sick of mediocre, players and managers. One decent striker could have made a big difference although not enough. I am sure a half decent manager could have got more out of this lot. Cibicki, Grot, Sacko and Ekuban are just pathetic but the rest are capable. Why is Dallas at right back, he is a half decent left wing back for NI but right back! Anita, why has he never been played in his natural position? i really don't know but square pegs never did fit round holes. We are totally inept although i don't completely blame the players. We need a good manager. Monk was the best of recent times but we need better than him however unless we change strategy we will be severely restricted. Nigel Pearson has got to be a decent shout although my ultimate choice remains Flores. dream on as they say.

Hi all. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but it is rumoured in Spain that Orta is on the shortlist for a job at Deportivo. Legs, fingers, arms and testicles crossed everyone.

Don't know Orta personally. He may be a great guy for all I know. He may even be competent in what he does (I know- debatable) . The key point is that it's his role that presents the problem. A manager is needed, not a head coach and as such he needs to have the final say on player recruitment. For this reason alone, I am hoping it becomes a win/win and Orta moves on.
