Silly Aus as ever . many good young players start off on loans in lower league League 1 and develop into top players . such as Harry Kane with Orient and Ben White with Gillingham I recall.
Plus if Leeds go down which looks fairly likely . We will need a LB and Leif Davis would be agood LB option. as Firpo on his high salary will be moved on.

Baz - with the lad’s contract ending this season, it would’ve been a case of agree to the permanent move and get a fee (£1.2m - maybe + potential add-ones) last summer or get a smaller loan fee and possibly still have to cover some of his wage for this season then lose him for free this summer.
If we do go down it would seem possible that the Club would seek to use Leo Hjelde at LB - he’s currently getting good reviews for his performances in that position in the Championship with Rotherham and making a significant contribution to their climb towards safety.

I thought Leif had 2 years left . anyway it's a shame he left Leeds United but silver lining is Leo Hjelde as our potential LB . I also like him at CB.
