Although I am one of the world's greatest optimists, I am very depressed this morning, which is silly because it was exactly the type of performance I expected after the good efforts the last two games.
For whatever reason, we always seem to play like a park side against opposition in the relegation zone like ourselves, but better against teams toward the top of the table.
I am not expecting much against Southampton, but equally would not be surprised if we managed to get some pints out of the Chelsea, Brighton, Wolves and Arsenal games that follow.
