I do get frustrated and angry after a loss but Upon reflection I think we aren't a million miles of getting results . It does seem the players are getting frustrated as things just don't seem to be falling our way and some individual mistakes.

It's the basics for me.
Defending as a group means simply push up when pressure is on the ball and drop deeper when it isn't giving no space behind. We don't do that.
Then it's the individual, why do we almost always try to win the ball in all situations?
Watch Tyler Adams, he is patient, waits, forces them to do something then pounces, the others jump in to a tackle (which is what the attacker wants) going an opportunity for a foul or being skinned. It's simple stuff really but we aren't doing it.

. and forking abysmal dodgy refs and VAR non decisions

It's hard enough for Leeds United winning games . defensive mistakes each game must be eradicated.

Cooper never jumped into to tackle Olly for their 1st other night Canada, he jockeyed him all way back enabling Bailey to have all our LHS to himself due to Pascal also being away with birds during their attack

There's a lot more than just simply not jumping in.

It's being a fairly basic defender for premiership also which ultimately is the bigger problem I. M. O.

Chris, why would one goal be our whole season and story?
Look at the whole season .
How many needless fouls has Cooper made, dozens, how many times has he and others tried to tackle and been made to look foolish, at lot more than dozens.
Analyze everything not just one incident.

Canada seriously?, you think that, that was my automatic assumption . In fairness of course I don't think that!

My point was cooper doesn't " jump in " all too often he's nowhere near where he is supposed to be .

And Pascal has emulated that, my point is neither are that great in premiership .

Cooper fouls when he knows he's cooked ( hence as you say ) all too regularly . Again a better class of player is needed rather than a different approach from said player

It's just always going to be like this till we get better defenders.

If Cooper followed the basics he'd be in the right place!

He's 15 years a pro Canada, do you not agree at this stage + this point I think it's safe to say Liam can't and never will, so as I said earlier a new player maybe?

No issue with replacing, I've said all along a LB and CB were my number 1 and 2 priorities.
But anyone who's a professional player should be capable of doing what is asked, I wonder what they are being asked to do. I bet with Dyche as manager (as dire as it would be to watch) they'd be in the right place a lot more often!

If Cooper plays he has to do it in mittens. He used to get away with the shirt pulls before VAR.
