Let's get England and Southgate situation into perspective.
We have beaten Wales, Iran, Senegal and drawn with USA.
None of the above are exactly world class and suddenly the manager is a genius, think back to Hungary and the nations cup debacle!
Hope I am wrong but think we will get found out this weekend!

England have played better than I expected. BUT yes they haven't faced a quality team yet.
Howevet they certainly won't 'get found out " against France; it will be a close game a narrow Fŕance win most likely.

All four of the teams we've played are in the top 20 in the world.
Not sure what qualifies as world class?
That being said France are the first we will play ranked higher than us so we will see after that how hood we are. I expect a loss but hope we run them close.

We haven’t played great teams, but nor have France. They’ve beaten Australia, Denmark and Poland and lost to Tunisia.
