Women pundits full stop mate, although I don’t mind a bird anchoring a programme. Laura Woods and Gabby Logan are very good.

Just like many male pundits, there are some really good female ones and others not so good. Would rather listen to Jimmy Krankie commentate over Jermaine Jenas.

Sorry, I totally agree with some of the male comms/ pundits but there are just NO good sounding commentators. Summarisers maybe? Show hosts maybe? but whenever play gwts exciting they just go up a few octaves and border on sct=reeching. No for me, women have no sporting gravitas.

I'm more annoyed about women commentators and pundits appearing on and chairing programmes male football. Don't get many males on the women's games. When it was pointed out one of the womenresponse was something like - Don't worry worry there will still be jobs for the 'lads'. Can you imagine if a man had made that comment about women presenters. He would had been out quicker than Ronaldo.

You can see how uncomfortable the male expert pundits are when they are asked to answer scripted questions from the "anchor person". Needs a Qatari style hand over the mouth protest to get rid of them.

Well you should listen to American's commentating, and saying and posting on the screen ridiculous things like "the game is made up of 4 15 minute segments", "that was the 5th offensive reception for blah", "that was the 3rd defensive interception for blah" . and in the middle of the Canadian game, in fact the whole game, talking about how the USA are goin'a whoop England is that historic show down . It's just painful, and shows that everything in the world has to be translated into Americoon - So painful that I almost put on the Mexican commentators, as my VPN to ITV or the beeb is bad once the game begins .
