Brilliant 2nd half comeback and well done to the younger players for showing the more experienced ones how to run, dribble, shoot and score.
I was at at charity dinner last night, where Mr Eddie Gray was guest speaker and not only did he have us all laughing when he talked about his younger days playing with some of the greatest players in the world. But he also left us with a big teaser, Leeds have a load of young talent waiting to be unleashed into the 1st team squad (those words came true today) but he also mentioned that when we secure our Premier League status then big things are in the pipeline from summer 2023
The future is looking extremely bright peeps.

Don’t wanna spout, but I’ve known Mr Gray for a long time, coached his grand kids at different levels, and played for him at pro am tournaments. He is a top guy, with a great insight, still, to the youth at our club. If he says the future is bright, it’s correct.

Eddie mentioned how well all of his gran children could kick a football, at just 18 months old.

Agreed Brighty. Eddie Gray is a gent and a legend for me! To be fair, there have been a few of us on here saying similar things for a bit. I feel something special happening at all levels of the club. Pleased for Greenwood today, he was able to do in a first team game what he has shown he can do at under 21 level. Great set pieces, great shot, watch how calmly he took that goal today. I’ve always felt this squad could create and take opportunities, 8 goals in three games but 7 conceded shows where the problem still is. Not defending effectively as a back 7!

They always say to never meet your hero’s, Eddie was always mine and I have been lucky to be his neighbour for a good number of years now.
A true gentleman and proper nice guy along with his wonderful wife Linda, and all of his children.
I will ask what he means about the summer of 2023?
